COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Hey, Amasawa felt that workload today was a bit excessive, or that President Sakayanagi seemed to have deliberately taken out some of the work that had been piled up in the past.

Or, where did all the work come from?

”So where is President Sakayanagi now?” To Ichika, Loli-senpai was a little abnormal today as she didn’t come to student council all morning.

As if doing something important.

This is clearly not right.

”As for Sakayanagi, I just saw her sitting in the first row right in front of the stage with best view.”

Is that so? It is indeed the style of Arisu Sakayanagi.

She is the only one who can afford to buy seats at a high price, and she buys three at a time.

Why three?

”So, Kamuro-senpai is sitting over there too?” Ichika continued to probe with a confused face, but her tone was respectul.

It even sounded like she was genuine about it, because who else would give money to others for free just to eat anything you want, right?

”No. I didn’t find Kamuro-san in the first row.”

”.....” Amasawa.

It turns out that it is not for respected Kamuro-san to sit on.

’Didn’t Loli-senpai really love her dog? But she ended up buying something at a high price that wasn’t for her dog....Wrong! Hey, wait a moment~!’

Her frown was huge.

There were three seats, but Sakayanagi took one by herself and even her dog was not allowed to sit.

This was not right.

”...Hikigaya-senpai, have your parents come to school?” Ichika instantly realized seriousness of the matter.

”No, but my sister is here.”

So that’s it. Your parents didn’t come, but sister did.

”Hey, Komachi came too late, and I forgot to save a seat for her!” Hikigaya seemed a little annoyed at this time.

It seems like a huge dereliction of duty for an older brother.

Ichika immediately looked backstage toward the gymnasium entrance and saw Kushida-chan and a girl with aho-hair who looked 60% similar to Hikigaya-kun rushing over.

Girl with that TV hair should be Hikigaya-senpai.....

Before Ichika could do anything, she saw two students from Class 2-A taking action.

The one with long orange hair went straight to Hikigaya Komachi, while one with long purple hair Kamuro Masumi went straight to Kushida-chan with a cold frown, if that’s even possible.

It seemed to be telling the two that there were still two seats available and inviting them to come over.

The direction of invitation is completely different. That is to separate two people.

Still can’t underestimate President Sakayanagi?

Ichika already understood that Arisu Sakayanagi paid a high price for three seats, two of which were connected, and the other one was separated by a long distance.

This is purpose.

Intercept.

Sakayanagi-san’s goal is of course this.

How can ordinary interactions increase people’s affection as much as someone who suddenly helps you?

”Shit, it seems to have already begun.”

”....Yeah, the play is already being performed.”

Although Komachi and Kushida arrived at the gymnasium, concert had already started and the opening was almost over, so they could only stand at the door and look inside.

However, there were many students around who didn’t buy tickets, so they couldn’t squeeze in.

In addition, there were people guarding door and would not let anyone in without paying.

Kushida-chan decided to buy a seat, but unfortunately, there were none left.

So, could only stand at the back.

This is very sad.

”Kushida Kikyo, and Hikigaya Hachiman’s sister, please come this way.” A rebellious-looking girl with long orange hair walked over.

”Morishita-san!” As someone who wants to make friends with all the students in the school and bring them into her Empire, Kushida certainly knows the information of girl in front of her.

In 2nd grade class A, Morishita Ai, her academic performance is good, with a B+ in academic ability and a B- in physical fitness, but she seems to have a bad personality and basically has no friends.

But it seems that she has long wanted to cling to Sakayanagi’s thighs and become her puppy.

And Kushida actually got some dirty information about Morishita-san, or rather... Sakayanagi lured her in last year and deliberately arranged for it to be revealed.

However, Morishita’s dark history was true, so Kushida reluctantly took the bait at that time.

As a result, met each other again now.

”Kushida Kikyo, you’re finally here. Princess Sakayanagi has reserved a seat for you alone.”

???

”So I’ll take you there.”

”O ! ~•” Kushida-chan felt this girl Morishita might be suffering from some serious illness. ’Because there are two of us now, what does it mean to give me a separate place? Do you want me to abandon Komachi?’

And the fact that Sakayanagi actually reserved a seat for her made Kushida feel strongly distrustful.

There was a sense of conspiracy, or maybe Sakayanagi was trying to please her now and then want her to do something later.

”This is Vice President Hikigaya’s sister, right? Although Princess Sakayanagi didn’t reserve a seat for you, your brother did. To be more precise, he reserved a seat for himself in advance, but he doesn’t need it now.”

’So, that’s it. My brother had his own seat, and he had to perform by himself, so naturally he couldn’t sit in audience and watch performance....!’ Komachi nodded excitedly.

”Vice President Hikigaya’s seat is over there. I’ll take you there.” At entrance of the gymnasium, purple-haired Kamuro Masumi who had been waiting came over.

Then she added, ”The best view from the first row.”

It seemed like she was trying to lead the way for Komachi.

”Then can’t Kushida-nee go with us?” But, as a good kid, his sister Komachi seemed a little hesitant.

”Your brother only reserved one seat, so there’s no room for anyone else. Besides, we also arranged a seat for Kushida. My seat is also next to her.”

’Is Kamuro-san right next to me? She looks like she’s settled in.’ But Kushida-chan felt something was definitely not right at all!

Even thought about Sakayanagi getting two seats for herself.

If they were just ordinary classmates, Kushida could still get in touch with and communicate with them.

’After all, I’m already a sophomore, I’ve met most of the students, and I have a good relationship with some of them.....So if I want to get a seat, I can still do it....It’s just...’ Kushida-chan looked forward and couldn’t help but feel that it was a bit outrageous.

Because stadium has specially prepared more than 800 seats.

But in a good front row seat… were the various school staff, most of whom were single teachers.

Most of the teachers are male. What’s wrong with these virgin people?

Because even if there is a pre-sale for this kind of performance, it is not possible to get front row seats so consistently.

Some will definitely fall into the hands of shopping streets or some students who bought tickets in advance.

But teachers just sat there.

In other words, these guys actually received the best positions from others at a high price.

Are they so enthusiastic about students’ performances?

Although Kushida-chan was puzzled as to why the good seats were all occupied by teachers, whose incomes were not low, so it was normal they could spend money to buy better seats.

~Hehe~

”So, Kushida, why don’t you come over?” Kamuro-san said coldly at this time with a straight face.

”- 0 -” Kushida-chan’s intuition told her that something was wrong, and that Sakayanagi seemed to want to get her out of the way.

But considering that she had arrived too late and there were only standing tickets available, she followed Kamuro-san’s guidance.

She is probably acting on the orders of Sakayanagi Arisu.

Therefore, opposing it now would be going against her.

’Therefore, even if I think Sakayanagi Arisu might have some ideas, but... there is currently no means of resistance, or it is best not to become an enemy of the other party for the time being.....’ Because now Kushida has obtained the place for promotion to Class A paid by Hikigaya.

However, this quota can be used for promotion to a higher grade, or to offset a dropout.

In other words.

If she was expelled before graduation, this quota would offset expulsion penalty once, but she would not be able to graduate from Class A in the end.

So will Hikigaya continue to buy her spots? You have to spend 40 million before getting married.

It’s very stressful, okay....

So, maybe her marriage is going to be destroyed.

In this case, what she has to do is to persist until graduation and not be expelled.

According to her experience of having spent more than a year in this school, those who were expelled were either due to poor hardware or shity interpersonal relationships, or... they were framed.

Her hardware is above average, and interpersonal skills are also good. Her only weakness is being framed.

Kushida has always been kind to others, and the only unkind person, Horikita Suzune, has passively become her partner.

In reality, Kushida-chan doesn’t look like she’s going to be expelled from school.

She was winner in the end.

Then, no need to offend Sakayanagi who is actually President now.

As someone who is good at creating atmosphere, she knows very well that Sakayanagi is probably interested in Hikigaya, but unfortunately, Hikigaya will not inherit the Sakayanagi family business because he doesn’t want to work.

So no matter what efforts Sakayanagi makes, she will lose in the end.

Lost from the start. Sakayanagi has fallen in love with Hachiman Hikigaya.

Kushida-chan had realized this very early on.
