COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Although Horikita Manabu was very strong, he was alone in a group of thirty-nine.

Over past three years, in order to ensure that all members graduated from Class A together, their class had lost many opportunities and a large number of points.

Even Manabu himself used his personal points to help the class overcome difficulties many times.

In the end, everyone was able to graduate from Class A, which was a valuable experience.

However, for Manabu, he would be better off without them.

If he had used the 20 million points he had saved to protect himself from the beginning and then acted towards plan to earn points, then Horikita Manabu would definitely have graduated from Class A and had a large sum of cash.

As a result, when he graduated, all his points were less than 1 million. It’s really sad.

And considering this, plus three years of hard work, everyone’s choices and directions are now completely different.

They are moving towards ideal goals, but relationships are still preserved.

Don’t want it to fade away with the passage of time.

However, such a beautiful future would definitely be destroyed if a terrifying guy like Hikigaya-kun appeared among the students in Class B or C.

That’s really scary, Hikigaya-kun!

’Fortunately, other party is just a junior.....’ Tachibana Akane stopped thinking about anything else and started focusing on the stage just like her boyfriend Horikita Manabu.

In this case, only Hikigaya-kun and Horikita-san are left distracted.

”In two shows, Chabashira-sensei will be participating in the performance. And that’s why I came here.”

If you buy a ticket normally, you will get a performance schedule.

You can check the participants of each performance.

They will all be marked.

What is going on now is a play, which will be followed by two skits, plus an opening ensemble performance, which will take a total of about an hour.

Then soak it in water for another 30 minutes and you’re done.

In fact, the performances at this cultural festival were a bit shabby, but for the employees in shopping street it was new, and for the students, standing tickets were enough, and for the guests, it was enough to liven up boring atmosphere.

You know...sort of give vibes that you are actually in an elite school.

”It’s surprising that Chabashira-sensei agreed to participate. If I hadn’t gotten the program and seen list of participants, I really wouldn’t have believed it.” That’s right, Suzune too herself had many doubts about such behaviour.

”This is a bug of this cultural festival. It is important to read the questions every time, but you also need to be flexible, such as whether there are solutions in the project that can benefit your side, etc.”

”So the reason you decided to participate in this performance was because you found that school would agree to your collaboration with students from other classes, and then you used your imagination to invite Chabashira-sensei and others to participate?” No hesitation, it’s like Suzune had this type of talk with him on daily basis.

This flow of conversation was so normal between her sister and Hikigaya, it made Manabu feel inner peace.

The Sae-chan and others here actually include not only her, but also Chie, Akeno-sensei, a junior 1st year female teacher, plus another of her kind, but she is just a passer-by for now, so I won’t introduce them here.

”Yes. That’s roughly what it means.”

It turns out that Hikigaya-kun was the driving force behind performance that created 60 million in sales.

This is other party’s arrangement.

However, Suzune found that apart from being assigned a seat and being reminded that he would participate in the performance, she didn’t know any information and felt left out.

She was slightly disappointed.

But soon, heard Hikigaya continue, ”I heard Sakayanagi’s performance on the ship before, and I became interested in the piano. Then I found a first-year junior who could play it to teach me. As a result, I owed her a favor, so this time I came to repay the debt. I have no income.”

’Then it’s all in vain. Since it’s free work, why don’t you drag him in with you?’

”.....” Although it was just an ordinary explanation, for some reason, Suzune felt as if she had become more at ease.

”So what you are worried about now is--” Even began to focus on main topic.

”It’s Chabashira-sensei’s fault. There are a total of four female teachers who will perform next, Hoshinomiya-sensei and her are very popular among them It’s easy to fool the staff in shopping street, but it’s hard to make money from teachers, so I’m using females as a card... Because of school system, students are confined. And the same goes for teachers. Long-distance relationships are not very stable, and most of the teachers in our school are around 30 years old. So teachers’ marriages are also restricted.”

He even started to make a hole with his fingers to express deep sorrow pit of lone male teachers.

”...” Um, Tachibana calmly ignored what he was doing.

”And now, there is a performance by the female teacher that we usually pay attention to. Do you think they will come and watch it without spending any money?”

”...” Suzune was speechless. ’That means internal digestion, right? You are not taking the money internally, but are here to defraud our teachers with fake dreams!’

But Horikita-san is already used to Hikigaya-kun’s actions, so he just tells her to listen and it’s over.

”In fact, I didn’t expect female teachers this time to be so attractive. See those seats in the first row in front? Those are all single male teachers in our school. Except for Sakayanagi who has money on a daily basis, the other male teachers paid a high price for their positions.”

’That is to say, in addition to the normal threshold of 40,000 gift vouchers, you also traded additional private points, right? This seems to be a violation. But it doesn’t say that you can’t add extra money or spend it inside? And the people who bought the tickets did pay for vouchers. The school only charges the amount of vouchers based on turnover.....’ Suzune’s face changed from a cute frown to a normal expression as if main fault was on male teachers for being so...

”Right, turnover figures look good, and at the same time you can get points privately through insider information. Isn’t that a good thing for you?” Suzune almost betrayed by passing him a small grin knowing this guy’s weird habits.

”That’s the problem.” But Hikigaya shook his head with a complicated face, that seems actually like he was in deep calamity, ”I’m worried these single dogs may not just want to sit in the front row. They are used to being single, and when you suddenly see the dazzling look of a colleague you usually admire, I’m afraid they can’t help themself, and might even want to confess feelings. Maybe he will shout directly off the stage, or maybe... after this performance.”

”This kind of thing...” However, these words made Suzune frown regarding the unprofessional norms of display.

’Because if you are a student, there is an argument that academic studies are the most important thing, but if you are a teacher, you can’t say that....It’s time to consider lifelong events. It can be understood that now so many male teachers have bought seats at high prices and they are all in the first row. Is this actually what it means? I never expected Chabashira-sensei would be so popular.....’ Suzune’s brain parameters have now gone a tremendous change and started thinking from a normal girl’s view.

Of course she didn’t expect that.

Because if Hoshinomiya is plus version of Kushida-chan, Chabashira is the plus version of Horikita-san!

Horikita herself is top student in her grade... well, not cute, but in terms of beauty, she is the most beautiful girl.

Even now, apart from Yukinoshita and her, it is not certain who will get the first place, but they can definitely make it into top three.

Is there anyone who wouldn’t be interested in a girl of this level?

It’s better to say that you have always been watched by peers.

Look, Hikigaya’s worries seem to have come true.

”Chabashira! Chabashira!”

It was Sae-chan’s turn to perform, and she was going to sing a collaboration with Hoshinomiya.

However, Miss Chie, who is usually very popular and seems to know how to adjust the atmosphere, and even usually gets a lot of attention from male teachers and even receives love letters from various faculties, got treated as a background!

Because, when male teachers interacted with each other...they all called out Chabashira’s name.

It made Chie begin to doubt her life.

But Hikigaya-kun finds it understandable.

Because it’s cute.

Chabashira usually wears same old office suit, but now she has changed into a skirt and let her long hair down, and revealing hidden skin!

It feels like a high school girl.

It’s heart-pounding.

This is the outfit that Sakura-san suggested.

It should be said that it would be a real shame if Sakura didn’t pursue an idol-related career in the future.

However, this time selection and matching of clothes was not only Sakura’s credit, but also with the help of Miss Hoshinomiya.

This person knows exactly how to dress Chabashira to look cuter.

How you wear it will give people a sense of contrast.

The original suggestion was the maid outfit that Chabashira had worn before, and Hoshinomiya thought that it would definitely shine if shown on stage.

This was rejected by Hachiman!

On the one hand, Chie is a bit awkward and it’s unclear whether she will make trouble about this matter.

On the other hand, it is a reward for Hikigaya-kun for promoting Class D to Class A. ’How can I push my own rewards away? I also collected the photos!’

So can Chabashira-sensei still have so much attention now?

The current Sae-chan is now wearing the girls’ uniform of Advanced Nurturing High School.

Because they are adults, wearing clothes from their high school days.

Because of their sexy looks, people can tell they are grown-ups, but it also has a unique flavor.

It feels like my wife is a high school student.

”It’s a bit of a shame they changed into their high school uniforms. If we also participate in the performance, can we also change into same? It will make us guys look much younger.” Sakagami who was sitting in the 2nd row, said by touching his face.

The seat he bought is 2nd row.

He also asked about price of 1st row seats. It seemed that in addition to 40,000 tokens for entrance ticket, an additional 100,000 to 300,000 points were required.

The better the seat, more expensive it was!

Especially for a seat that was close to the stage and could even make eye contact with performers on there.

Ridiculously expensive.

Sakagami felt poisonous!

So, he obviously didn’t buy it.
