COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

’This child has grown so much in just over a year. I am happy for him, but I also feel a little inexplicably regretful. Because you’ve become a dirty adult!’

”Then Hiratsuka-sensei. Over there, Yukinoshita...”

”Well, you probably know from Chabashira that Yukinoshita is Haruno’s sister. But Yukinoshita is actually a flawed child. She has built a wall of ice in her heart. That girl has been excluded since primary school, but she has always been strong and improved herself in all aspects. She became a cold flower.... But in reality didn’t want to be so lonely. It’s not just me, even her sister thinks so. We are very worried about her condition.”

’In other words, Yukinoshita Haruno is indeed a sister-con. Similar to Horikita Manabu. Seeing how he deals with her sister with high pressure and intensity, it even makes her think that her brother/sister doesn’t like her.....But deep down, you hope my sister can become stronger and adapt to this society. It’s really hard to be an older brother or sister....’ Hikigaya-kun wisely thought to himself.

But he doesn’t think that his sister needs so much attention. Rather, his sister has been very sensible and understanding since she was very young.

She doesn’t treat him as a useless brother and is already the cutest sister in the world.

”I understand. If Hiratsuka-sensei wishes, then I may be able to change Yukinoshita subtly.”

’This is really reassuring. But earlier statement that you just sacrificed a classmate for your 2 million points is also worrying. Be a little concerned about how you will change Yukinoshita into someone else! But these are Haruno’s intentions, and all I can do is just pass them on. Judging from Yukinoshita’s performance today, there have actually been some changes....’

”Then there are still ten minutes until five o’clock in the afternoon. Is there anything you want to do, Hiratsuka-sensei?” Hachiman said after checking the time on his phone, ”Actually, it’s quite comfortable to get some fresh air here.”

”I hope so, too. But right now it seems like someone needs you more than I do....” Saying this, Shizuka touched the railing and looked in one direction.

Hachiman looked over and noticed a cute girl with short hair walking towards him.

She has ahoge inherited from Hikigaya family.

This is Hikigaya Komachi, his younger sister.

Hiratsuka-sensei smiled and left, while Komachi trotted over.

”Wow, what a comfortable breeze!” Komachi put her hands on the railing, looking in a good mood, ”Besides, it feels good to lean on the railing. Onii-chan, your school has done a good job in terms of scenery.”

’Is that so? But this railing was once kicked by your sister Kushida and made it cry.....’ Hikigaya-kun thought to herself, but decided not to ruin the impression that Kushida had on his sister.

But Hikigaya-kun didn’t mention Kushida, but Komachi herself took the initiative to bring it up.

”Speaking of Kushida-nee...well, speaking of Onii-chan, what do you think about marriage?” Komachi still has the opportunity to introduce her brother to someone and remind him that there are always rich women around who are suitable for him.

If he had missed Miss Sakayanagi, he might never meet a rich woman like this who would accept him again.

So even though she feels sorry for elder sister Kushida now, Komachi is originally on her brother’s side.

Therefore, Komachi is now in full sister mode, and she stares at her brother with sparkling eyes. ’I decided that no matter what my brother said, I would promote Sakayanagi Arisu to him.’

”Marriage?” Hikigaya-kun thought about it when his sister suddenly asked him this question.

”Yeah. So, tell me?” Komachi nodded excitedly.

What she wants is to bring her brother into the topic and then tell other party there is a super suitable marriage partner around him.

She hope this object can be considered carefully.

After all, if you miss it, it will be gone.

So, Komachi began to try to talk about Sakayanagi.

But her brother Hikigaya-kun frowned slightly. His sister suddenly asked this question.

Indeed, she came to school today and met Kikyo Kushida.

Perhaps it was still unbelievable that her brother’s marriage was settled through an agreement like this.

This kind of thing would never happen in schools outside the world.

However, schools outside cannot directly pave the way for students to move towards a life that may change their class.

Hachiman does not reject this school and even likes it very much.

As for his sister’s problem, he had actually made up his mind a long time ago.

Or maybe this was the reason why he decided to be a househusband.

If asked now, he could calmly tell his sister, ”Marriage is the grave of life.”

”Married people are not surprised. They all try their best to describe how wonderful it is. They are happy because they can say ”I’m home” to someone, and they think about working hard tomorrow when they see their children’s sleeping faces. However....But I hope you guys will wait a minute. You can also say ”I’m back” in your hometown. And seeing your children’s sleeping faces means you have gone through overtime hell. Can that really be called happiness? I feel so tired. I don’t want to be a social slave. On this point, please understand your brother, Komachi.”

”….” Komachi put her hand on her hips in a slightly defeated manner, with a helpless exaggerated look.

”O O !”

’Okay...My brother is beyond help.’

Hikigaya Komachi, the younger sister, updated her evaluation of her brother on the spot, and felt that girls who agreed to marry him were miserable.

And since Sakayanagi isn’t in good health, she certainly can’t fully support her brother’s life of not wanting to be a corporate slave.

After all, rich women with big families and big businesses also need to work.

Therefore, Komachi doubted whether Sakayanagi-nee would lie to her brother and force him to go to work if she was really with him.

And if the two have such differences, they will get divorced.

Although Kushida-nee is a bit utilitarian, Komachi now feels that there is nothing wrong with her.

At least, she seems to be someone who can tolerate her brother’s various problems.

The elder brother Manabu is very strong, and his younger sister also seems to be capable and responsible.

The fact that she is responsible is reassuring.

Komachi was now seriously thinking about the options for her brother’s marriage.

”Speaking of which.” After Hikigaya told his sister his views on marriage, he looked at Komachi with an old man’s look, ”So you suddenly asked me this, Komachi, have you changed your mind about marriage? I think you shouldn’t change it, just come here normally, and don’t meet troublesome boys like me. Just leave when you see them, okay?”

”….”

’I also got to know that I am in trouble!’ Komachi is still studying and has not thought about the future.

Instead, she has considered worst-case scenario, which is that her brother will end up alone.

Then, as a sister, she can only support him as much as possible.

”Hey!” Although she wanted to introduce a rich woman to her brother, Komachi could only change the subject, ”I suddenly received news that I could come here as a guest. So, although it’s a little late, I prepared a birthday present for you. The present is at Kushida-nee’s place.”

”Happy birthday, Onii-chan~!”
