Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 771: Chapter 484: Where... Did the Head Go? (4,900 words)_3

”...You’re right.” Xu Xin nodded, showing a reassuring smile, ”Indeed, at least for now, we should be safe.”

”See!” Li Wenxi grabbed Xu Xin’s arm and chuckled.

Li Yajun and Niu Fugui exchanged a glance, feeling much more at ease.

Xu Xin squinted slightly.

His attitude was just for them to see, only to make them less worried.

But inside, he was extremely anxious.

Because he was almost certain that if the giant wasn’t dead, it would definitely come back.

Why did it attack the treehouse?

Because... of the secret key.

As long as this secret key is here, it will definitely return to search for it.

This secret key...

Once Qin Fu wakes up, he must be thoroughly questioned!

”Oh right!” Li Wenxi reached into her backpack and took out a metal block with a peculiar metallic luster, handing it to Xu Xin, ”It was smelted successfully this morning, and I forgot to give it to you!”

Under Xu Xin’s discerning eyes, this piece of metal emitted a purple-grade glow.

Purple-grade meteoric iron!

He immediately reached out to take it.

[Meteoric Iron (Purple): The lowest quality meteoric iron.

Meteoric iron comes from meteors that fell from wondrous celestial bodies in space, possessing great hardness, toughness, and memory property. It’s extremely difficult to smelt and is the best material for constructing certain facilities and tools.]

Goodness, the first sentence of the introduction made him smile wryly.

Even the lowest quality is purple-grade.

But still...

Facilities and tools?

”Let’s go, we’ll head upstairs first to see what this thing can make.” Xu Xin pulled Li Wenxi and went to the second-floor workstation.

”Hey? The giant’s corpse downstairs...”

Xu Xin reached out to touch the [Weapon and Armor Crafting Station] and immediately began checking the production list.

To his disappointment, this meteoric iron couldn’t be used to make weapons.

Because there were no new blueprints for various weapons.

”Can’t make weapons with it...” Li Wenxi also looked a bit disappointed.

”Actually, it doesn’t matter, our steels are already strong.” Xu Xin said, continuing to scroll down.

Is there... is there?

There is!

When he saw the new blueprint, his eyes suddenly lit up.

[Meteoric Iron Deboning Knife (Purple): A deboning knife made of meteoric iron, greatly improving the efficiency of deboning compared to a stone deboning knife and slightly increasing the grade of materials obtained. Additionally, the meteoric iron deboning knife can decompose materials a grade higher than the deboning knife itself.]

A deboning knife capable of decomposing higher-grade materials!

As soon as he saw the introduction mentioning ”tool”, he thought of this, and upon checking, it was indeed here!

It’s exactly what you wish for.

The meteoric iron deboning knife only requires one piece of meteoric iron to make, and he could make it right now.

However, he didn’t immediately make it and instead asked Li Wenxi, ”How many pieces of meteoric iron do you have in your hand now?”

”Not a lot.” Li Wenxi pointed to the piece in Xu Xin’s hand, ”Including yours, I’ve only smelted three pieces in total.”

Xu Xin nodded.

He didn’t rush to make it but instead took a tour of all the workstations.

Found nothing notable.

Until he touched the first workstation he made upon arriving in this world.

Synthesis table.

The very first workstation.

”Wow! This this this...!” Li Wenxi beside him also widened her eyes, ”An advanced workstation!”

Indeed, purple-grade meteoric iron can be used to make more advanced... workstations!

All his workstations were from the initial batch, green-grade workstations.

These workstations cannot be upgraded, but they meet the needs.

Although it’s a green-grade weapon and armor crafting station, it can produce purple-grade weapons, so he didn’t worry much.

But now, the synthesis table’s production list has added many new blueprints!

Purple-grade workstations!

[Weapon and Armor Crafting Station (Purple)], [Sculpting and Painting Workstation (Purple)], and even [Appliance Crafting Station (Purple)]!

This meteoric iron can upgrade workstations!

By upgrading the workstations, brand new things will definitely appear to enhance their capabilities!

However...

”...It requires a lot of materials.” Xu Xin sighed slightly.

One workstation requires three pieces of purple-grade meteoric iron.

He couldn’t even make one with what he had.

”No worries.” Li Wenxi immediately said, ”I’ve already expanded my smelting room; the furnace now has twenty units. As long as there’s enough coal, I can smelt it!”

The house is very hot, but it doesn’t affect her furnace much since the smelting room is always very hot.

It’s just too hot to run back and forth.

”That’s good.” Xu Xin immediately smiled, ”I’ll rely on you then.”

”But lately, I still need to focus on smelting steel. We’ve used too many heavy crossbow bolts this time; each shot is a resource! We still need to replenish it, it really consumes a lot...”

Li Wenxi was a bit troubled.

”Next time someone comes to join us, ask for more.”

”Hmph, next time I must have half the people! My people are the busiest...”

Xu Xin returned to the Weapon and Armor Crafting Station and made a [Meteoric Iron Deboning Knife (Purple)].

An extremely sharp knife, compared to his purple-grade stone deboning knife, it seemed like it was from a different era.

Next, it’s time to work!

He returned to the first floor, looking at the lower half of the troll’s body crammed in the single layer of the treehouse.

Then, he glanced at the small deboning knife in his hand.

...How is he going to decompose this?
