Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 752: Chapter 478 ...No way? (4500 words)_2

Xu Xin’s brow relaxed, and a slight smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

It seems that the jungle is about to return to its vibrant state.

Indeed.

The current barren look is really too desolate, watching for a long time really affects one’s mood.

I really hope I can take a good rest today.

He immediately sent a message to Ji Chaoyang: ”Are you sure there won’t be any issues today?”

Ji Chaoyang was already awake and directly replied: ”Not sure, but from the prophecy, I can’t see anything.”

The two immediately connected via a call.

”You can predict twice now, right?” Xu Xin asked, ”Can’t you see anything from both times?”

”...After returning to the surface, I can only predict once.” Ji Chaoyang’s voice was a bit helpless, ”It seems that only in the underground world can my ability be enhanced. To this day, I still can’t determine the reason.”

Only in the underground world can the ability be enhanced?

”Are the others like this?” Xu Xin asked.

”They are the same indeed.” Ji Chaoyang replied.

The underground world has this kind of effect?

”This time, the picture in my prophecy is just a sunny world where plants begin to sprout. I tried to extend the prophecy time, but in the end, I didn’t find anything.”

”Well, let’s hope we can have some peace today.”

”It’s best to be careful. Last night, more than a dozen people from Zone 1 disappeared.” Ji Chaoyang reminded.

Xu Xin frowned slightly: ”Isn’t the winter season over?”

He previously deduced that this kind of danger is a crisis for them in the snow-stopped area during winter.

”...It might last for a while.” Ji Chaoyang said, ”Of course, we can’t rule out the possibility that winter hasn’t ended yet and will only end this morning. In any case, it’s up to today to see if there will be any problems.”

”If there’s still a problem, we can give them some help. After all, we are allies now.” Ji Chaoyang said.

Although Zone 1 also has strong individuals, their resource quantity naturally does not compare to theirs. Some ordinary survivors in Zone 1 still don’t have treehouse crossbows.

Without any defense capabilities in the treehouse, indeed, it’s prone to issues.

Perhaps they can provide the most basic treehouse crossbows.

In this way, ordinary survivors in Zone 1 can also know whom they should turn to.

”Hmm, I think so too.”

Ending the call, Xu Xin sat on the sofa and relaxed completely.

Today, if there’s nothing significant, let’s take a little break.

Lately, things have been too tight, and too exhausting.

”Mmm...” In the treehouse, the sound of Li Wenxi getting up from bed was heard, followed by the sound of her footsteps as she walked out of the bedroom.

”So hot...” She rubbed her eyes, glancing at Xu Xin sitting on the sofa, ”You’re already awake? It’s already bright... It’s late already, isn’t it...”

”It’s just six o’clock.” Xu Xin looked at her, raising an eyebrow slightly, ”Put on some clothes, you’ll catch a cold.”

At this moment, a cool breeze blew in through the open window, causing her, barely clothed, to shiver slightly.

”Mmm, I need to take a bath first. The blanket was too thick, I was sweating...”

With that, she scurried into the bathroom.

Watching Li Wenxi’s disappearing back, Xu Xin took a deep breath and finally couldn’t resist standing up and walking into the bathroom too.

The sound from the bathroom made both Silver King and Mimi lift their heads to look.

...

The two emerged from the bathroom and lazily flopped on the sofa, leaning against each other.

Keke also crawled out of the bedroom and climbed into Xu Xin’s arms.

This little one hadn’t bathed, but really wasn’t dirty at all.

”Suddenly feel so tired, don’t want to move.” Li Wenxi lay on her side in Xu Xin’s arms, vying for space with Keke.

”Ying?” Keke and she stared at each other.

”Then give yourself a break. The resources from the explorers are enough for us to use for a while, you don’t have to be so exhausted all the time.”

”We have enough for ourselves. But if we want to provide for Zone 1 as well...” Li Wenxi calculated on her fingers, ”It’s not enough...”

”Zone 1?” Xu Xin shook his head, ”Even if we’re helping them, using green-level resources is enough. Your green-level resources are almost too plentiful to use up, right?”

Now, with Li Wenxi mining, green-level resources are almost becoming an excessive byproduct.

”That’s true.”

”Let’s not talk about this. The jungle outside has started to sprout, did you see?” Xu Xin pinched her cheek.

”Sprouts?” Li Wenxi sat up straight, ”Really?”

She ran to the window and looked outside.

”Really! The jungle is finally going to be green again!” Li Wenxi beamed, ”That’s great, it feels so much safer when the jungle turns green!”

”...What kind of logic is that?” Xu Xin was slightly taken aback.

Li Wenxi looked back at him: ”Think about it, now in the whole jungle, only our treehouse is green, it’s so conspicuous! But once the jungle becomes lush, won’t the treehouse be easier to hide?”

”When you put it that way, it does seem like it.” Xu Xin laughed.

That makes sense, but not entirely.

As the jungle becomes lush, the Blood Pattern Race and mutated creatures in the jungle will also be harder for survivors to spot.

After all, in a dense jungle, hiding a person or an animal is just too easy.
