Chapter 767: Chapter 483: First Battle Victory! (5400 words!)_2

However, after attacking the same spot several times, she finally slashed into the giant’s ankle, injuring its tendon, causing it to stagger.

At this moment, her watch vibrated; it was a voice call from Xu Xin. She raised her hand to answer.

”Roar!”

The giant, unable to bear it any longer, roared and reached out to grab Zeng Tao!

Although its feet missed, its hands were far more agile than its feet!

Zeng Tao was shocked and dodged desperately, evading the first grab, but the second attack came immediately.

”Dodge!”

Xu Xin’s voice came from the watch, along with the arrival of dozens of explosive crossbow bolts!

The giant noticed the approaching crossbow bolts first and immediately ignored Zeng Tao, roaring and turning to swing its giant Wolf Fang Club!

But it was too late!

The explosive crossbow bolts hit its body directly!

At the same time, Zeng Tao dashed as far away as possible!

”Boom boom boom boom boom boom!”

Flames, flesh, screams, and thick smoke billowed!

”Keep running, get farther away!” Xu Xin’s hand was only millimeters from the control panel!

It was actually a perfect opportunity to launch the great weapon!

But this heavy crossbow, which consumed more than ten portions of purple-grade resources, must be incredibly powerful, and Zeng Tao would definitely be caught in it from that position.

She was already in burst mode now, with no second chance for life!

So he didn’t fire, but continued to wait for the timing!

Waiting for a better opportunity!

Hearing this, Zeng Tao immediately ran swiftly to the side to stay away!

However, she did not head towards the treehouse but ran to the side!

”Big guy, the thing you want is on me!” Zeng Tao shouted back to the giant while making a middle-finger gesture!

Although the giant couldn’t see what this tiny creature was doing, just like humans wouldn’t care what gesture an insect’s legs were making.

But the giant heard her shout.

Covered in wounds and insane with furious rage, the giant paused for a moment, then immediately let out a ghostly scream and charged madly toward Zeng Tao’s direction!

Its heavy footsteps made the whole forest tremble, allowing everyone in the treehouse to feel it!

Zeng Tao was madly fleeing through the forest, chanting to herself, ”Can’t catch up, can’t catch up, can’t catch up!”

The giant’s speed was indeed much slower than hers.

Because the dense trees in the forest hindered its movement!

Though these bare trees were only ten meters or less tall, some already exceeded the giant’s knee height, significantly affecting its speed!

Moreover, its recent injury to the tendon in its back ankle from Zeng Tao, and its rage hadn’t allowed it time to heal, causing its movements to be awkward, only able to watch as the distance between it and Zeng Tao increased.

Unbearable, it let out another anger-filled roar that shook the forest, swinging its right arm to hurl the Wolf Fang Club in its hand toward Zeng Tao!

The giant Wolf Fang Club was thrown like an elongated heavy truck, spinning in the air toward the direction where Zeng Tao fled!

”Now’s the time!”

Xu Xin’s pupils contracted sharply, immediately reaching for the control panel!

At the same time, heavy crossbow bolts were shot out from the treehouses of Lou Fei’Er, Jin Yue, and Ma Hongwei in quick succession!

The outer wall of Xu Xin’s treehouse sounded a very clear ”ka!” of a mechanism!

Then, amidst countless blue-grade explosive crossbow bolts, that great weapon finally blasted out from the crossbow bolts!

”Bang!”

And at the moment of launch, there was a brief but intense explosion!

Sonic boom!

Because it directly caused a sonic boom due to supersonic speeds!

The purple-grade ultra-heavy crossbow had increased the shooting speed of this incredibly heavy weapon to above the speed of sound!

Three hundred meters were crossed in less than a second, reaching the giant!

The giant, without its giant Wolf Fang Club, realized too late and had no means to defend.

The great weapon shot straight into the giant’s chest, and the immense force knocked it to the ground, slamming it hard!

Then...

Flames burst open directly!

Even in the extremely bright afternoon sun, such explosive flames still made everyone close their eyes immediately!

”Boom!!!!!!”

The tremendous explosion sound temporarily deafened all survivors present, who also couldn’t open their eyes.

When Xu Xin opened his eyes again, his vision was still filled with the afterimages of the blinding flames.

Meanwhile, a small mushroom cloud was slowly rising in his view.

The explosion of the great weapon covered a vast area.

Turning everything within a several-meter radius into flat ground, all the trees were blown apart.

Even more distant trees were directly knocked over by the violent shockwave of the explosion.

Fortunately, perhaps due to the explosion’s intensity, any signs of fire in the forest had been snuffed out by the blast.

Suddenly, a large shadow flew across the sky.

”Bang!!”

The shadow crashed directly beside the main treehouse where Xu Xin was, causing it to tremble violently, startling everyone inside into a shocked silence.

Then the area below erupted into chaos and madness.
