Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 396: Chapter 299: The Giant Serpent Lands!_3

Mahong Wei was stunned by Xu Xin’s sudden words: ”...Ah? Oh, okay, but why? The explosive crossbow bolts are really effective, I’ve already killed lots of mutant creatures!”

”The noise from your explosive crossbow bolts attracted a big guy! Look towards my treehouse!”

The Lake Giant Python, with a body exceeding twenty meters, had come ashore. Its enormous body slithered forward on the surface, completely ignoring the snow and trees.

”Crack... crack...”

Most of the trees were ruthlessly crushed directly by it, turning into splinters.

And the mutant creatures in the surrounding snow scattered like birds and beasts the moment it appeared, forming a blank area of tens of meters around it.

”Damn!” Mahong Wei’s voice carried a shout of surprise, ”What creature is that! A giant snake! This is huge! Must be crazy!”

The Lake Giant Python had now fully landed, and its massive body left Xu Xin speechless as he saw its entire form for the first time.

He had thought, no matter how long, the python’s body would be only fifty meters, but now it seemed the winding python body itself occupied a whole sixty-meter area, and if straightened out, its total length might be close to a hundred meters!

Was it ever so big before?

No, right?

Absolutely not!

This giant python has definitely become bigger again!

Perhaps that’s why it could come out of the lake!

The stout yet winding python body advanced slowly but relentlessly on the ground, crushing any trees blocking its way, paving a complete path on the snow surface.

The giant python’s target wasn’t Xu Xin’s treehouse; its clear path was heading to Mahong Wei’s treehouse.

But beads of sweat were already forming on Xu Xin’s forehead.

Because the python’s current path would pass near his treehouse!

Would enter the attack range of the plant heart within a hundred meters!

The plant heart could understand his commands. Xu Xin didn’t dare to go down now, only told from the treehouse: ”Do not attack the giant python!”

As soon as he spoke, the giant python was within a hundred-meter radius of his treehouse.

Heart stopped abruptly.

Luckily, whether the plant heart understood his words or sensed it wasn’t a match, no vines emerged from the ground, and even those that had were withdrawn when the python approached.

However, they didn’t retract without action; before pulling back, they tried their best to restrain the movements of those mutant creatures.

Some of the mutant creatures originally attacking around the treehouse were bound by vines. As they struggled to break free, suddenly, a shadow descended!

The vines instantly drew back underground, but the mutant creatures having just gained freedom couldn’t dodge in time!

The giant python completely ignored them, and its massive, winding body passed over them slowly but steadily!

Crush!

In an instant, Xu Xin felt like he was witnessing the process of making tomato juice and vegetable oil.

Though he had personally slain countless beasts before, the crushing scene still made him slightly uncomfortable, his skin twitching.

”Eek—” Lou Fei’Er crossed her arms, showing a slightly disgusted expression, ”So gross...”

Luckily, luckily, the giant python wasn’t targeting his treehouse.

Must remind Mahong Wei to run quickly!

No, his treehouse is also surrounded by mutant beasts, where could he run?

While he was anxiously contemplating, the previously earth-bound python suddenly raised its head, turned its massive, rock-like head, and looked towards Xu Xin’s treehouse.

The gaze seemed to meet his once again!

That abyss of darkness seemed ready to devour Xu Xin, leaving him chilled as if a bucket of ice water was poured over him, penetrating cold!

No way?

Don’t come over here!
