Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 387: Chapter 296: Crazy Blizzard! The Surrounded Treehouse!_2

...Once it’s safe, he definitely plans to visit the Hilly Resource Zone again, especially that altar!

The altar that opens the underground space on a no-moon night!

No matter what, the giant beast, please don’t attack the treehouse!

Fortunately, the crimson spot hasn’t moved, just staying still in the Hilly Resource Zone, allowing Xu Xin to breathe a slight sigh of relief.

”Crack—crack—” In his ears, the sound of the continuous cracking of ice became louder and louder.

Silver King and Mimi had already risen, leaning on the windowsill looking toward the lake.

”Crunch! Crunch!” This time, it wasn’t the ice cracking but rather the sound of something gnawing and chewing the ice surface.

All kinds of sounds reached Xu Xin’s ears, causing his complexion to become increasingly grim.

He felt that danger existed in every direction around him.

”Xu Xin, Xu Xin! Outside! Look outside!” Lou Fei’Er exclaimed.

Xu Xin had been watching outside, but from his vantage point, he couldn’t see anything happening.

”Calm down, explain clearly, what happened!” Xu Xin went over.

”I can’t really explain, it’s very strange, you better come see for yourself!”

The control panel clearly displayed the ongoing events from a bird’s-eye view.

About a hundred meters away, on the snow surface, every ten meters or so, some portions of the snow were subtly twisting and turning. From the overhead perspective, it seemed as if the entire snow surface had come alive!

Then, in an instant, these twisted-turning roughly one-square-meter snow layers were instantly cleared, revealing the situation below.

”This is...” Xu Xin’s eyes glimmered, ”Really?”

”Mini teleportation portals?” Lou Fei’Er’s eyes widened as well; she had never seen the purple-black vortex at the tornado center during the storm season, only knew that the vortex was very similar to the teleportation portals.

Even the sound was similar.

But Xu Xin knew well, these tiny vortices indeed could teleport, but they had a completely different coordinate from his.

Although both were purple-black, his coordinates leaned more towards purple, while these small vortices were almost entirely black, the vortex spinning slowly, just looking at them, one could feel the terrifying power within!

And such vortices occurred every ten meters or so!

Xu Xin felt his scalp tingle.

To know, last time, the rotation of such a vortex triggered a super strong tornado and thunderstorm!

Would another catastrophe not appear this time?

As if to confirm his thoughts, changes happened around.

Although the sun still hung high in the sky, illuminating the snow surface, reflecting dazzling white light, snowflakes began to float down from the sky, and they grew larger and larger!

Unlike last time, this snow was accompanied by a very violent wind!

The furious wind howled, the snowflakes that last night were gently drifting, were now whipped by the fierce wind into a roaring ocean of snow, whirling madly around the treehouse, direction ever-changing.

This snow included not only the fresh flakes from the sky; the bitter cold wind shook the branches, violently blowing away the snow accumulated on the ground, sweeping last night’s gathered layers into the air, countless snowflakes were flung in all directions with the wind!

Outside the window, chaos reigned!

The blizzard was here!

Vision was completely blocked, outside, nothing could be seen. Simultaneously, the sound of the storm drowned out everything else, leaving Xu Xin’s ears filled only with the roar of the wind, totally unable to perceive what was happening outside.

”This... is this the blizzard season?” Lou Fei’Er looked at the control panel similarly obscured by the chaotic snow, a pure white blur, not knowing what to do.

”Whine! Whine!” Keke ran to Xu Xin’s side, jumped onto his shoulder, gesturing with her little paws, ”Whine!”

”Awoo—” Silver King let out an angry roar at the blizzard.

Mimi’s fur was already standing on end, her tail lifted, her entire body tensed.

Even Afu was beating his wings by the window, revealing a very restless disposition.

Xu Xin stroked Keke’s little head to calm him and stabilize his own emotions.

Though his eyes could see nothing outside now, Xu Xin had the map.

He watched the map nervously, which to date, showed no other changes besides the lake.

Then, as he was thinking this, numerous crimson dots suddenly appeared!

Just like the previous giant beast, there wasn’t a process of emerging, no transformation from dark to bright, just appeared on the map suddenly!

Suddenly appearing, probably only one possibility.

They were really teleported here!

Moreover, the locations they appeared in were exactly where those purple-black vortices were!

These crimson dots unlike the first beast tide, were not scattered randomly and chaotically, rather after appearance, slowly moved away from their initial position, choosing another spot to stop.

The location where they appeared, also where the purple-black vortices were, kept continuously producing crimson dots, spreading orderly towards all directions.

Soon, Xu Xin’s treehouse was surrounded by dense crimson dots.

The map showed, similarly surrounded were Ma Hongwei’s treehouse, Ji Chaoyang’s treehouse to the west, Li Wenxi’s treehouse to the east, and Qi Xuefei’s treehouse to the north.

All existing treehouses on the map were surrounded by those crimson dots!

Elsewhere, on the contrary, there were not many crimson dots, or in other words, very sparse. All the crimson dots concentrated around the treehouses!
