Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Although Fengo secretly felt that Asmodeus was taking advantage, after all, he wasn’t an original spawn of Hell... if it were any devil, they would have unhesitatingly assimilated with Hell.

This doesn’t mean that the Lord of Hell would lose his personal will, he just needs to completely consider matters from Hell’s perspective and absolutely cannot violate the fundamental Lawful Evil faction of Hell.

However, for Asmodeus, who came out of Heavenly Mountain and was backstabbed by the God of Order he once followed, having reservations is understandable.

Even the Will of Hell didn’t force Asmodeus to merge with it, and it even allowed him to maintain a deep connection with Hell indirectly through the Princess of Hell, so Fengo won’t meddle either.

As for whether the Will of Hell secretly had Glaysia do things that left Asmodeus with no choice, Fengo wouldn’t look into it, no, he wouldn’t even think about it.

He just needed to be a diligent Hell Prosecutor.

If you are under other people’s command, don’t concern yourself with their turbulences... To care that much, would Hell suddenly fancy him and make him the new Lord of Hell?

Ha~

If the Will of Hell could do as it pleased, then the current Lord of Hell would not be Asmodeus anymore.

Fengo is still uncertain about how Bisozeya died.

The Princess of Hell, though cold and arrogant, and indifferent toward Asmodeus, very much possesses the demeanor of Hell’s Royal Family.

Just like how she decisively chose to marry the Grand Duke of Hell, who barged into Hell and was strong enough to suppress all threats to the remaining member of Hell’s Royal Family, in times when Glaysia was healthily growing and obviously blessed by Hell, who knows if Bisozeya had any notions?

Anyway, Fengo has never been able to fathom Asmodeus’s thoughts or role in that chaos.

Since then, he eliminated all minor thoughts and diligently served as a loyal subordinate.

Therefore, even knowing that Glaysia’s actions might affect Bisozeya’s resurrection, without an explicit order from Asmodeus, Fengo would simply turn a blind eye.

Nowadays, truly ignorant honest people, and fools driven by ambition and blinded by desire, both die early.

Only those who know everything but remain steady can live long.

Fengo only wants to survive, so having chosen to stand behind Asmodeus, he absolutely wouldn’t act on his own.

This master can absolutely not tolerate subordinates having their own ideas, much less those attempting to influence the master’s thoughts.

As for Glaysia... ha, anyway, the Princess of Hell is always the happiest.

No matter what intentions the heavens above have or what effort they secretly exert on her, for the princess herself, as long as she can enjoy romance, it’s enough.

The truly unlucky ones are those unexpectedly caught in between, like the underlings.

Thinking of this, Fengo could even understand Rosero, who hides his head in his pants and never sticks his head out... he’s the unluckiest one.

However, considering Rosero’s origin, at the normal advancement pace of a devil, how could he possibly become a Duke at this time?

So, Rosero isn’t too short-changed.

Life’s just a bit tougher, but in Hell, who doesn’t have it tough?

Where is Glaysia’s response?

Glaysia, after a moment of silence, belatedly realized that since she wasn’t speaking, no one dared to make a sound.

Even if she were softly wrapped around the man, the man she’s clinging to wouldn’t publicly represent her... Rommel doesn’t know she dislikes Fengo and doesn’t want to talk to that filthy guy!

Glaysia hesitated for a few seconds... Between calling on Rosero to speak on her behalf or talking to Fengo herself, she ultimately chose to speak herself: ”Oh, I understand.

Is there anything else?”

Fengo was slightly taken aback, his gaze circling once more over Rommel’s face... Is this still not settled?

Rommel’s long eyelashes quivered slightly and then continued to droop toward the ground.

His patience has always been good, but at that moment, he really thought that being impulsive wouldn’t be so bad.

Alas, after thinking it over from all sides, he still chose silence.

”The three Tower Masters of the Tower of Dark Enigma have all arrived, in accordance with...”

Fengo was helplessly interrupted by Glaysia, who wore a face of impatience: ”Oh, I know, what else?”

Fengo looked at her listlessly: ”Master of Sia Tower, do you have an important matter to attend to?

Ruth, Nicholson, and Kamente Tower are all here, you...”

”Rommel, aren’t you coming with me to the White Tower?” Glaysia turned to her love, completely ignoring what Fengo was saying.

Rommel shook his head slightly: ”I have my responsibilities, Grand Magus Glaysia.”

”I’ve told you, just call me Lacis.”

Glaysia wore an earnest smile, ”That’s what my mother calls me.

I truly wish, Rommel, you could be as close as family to me~”

Rommel’s face remained calm: ”There is a difference between superior and subordinate.

I am just an ordinary Seventh Circle Mage.

Respected Grand Magus Glacia, please allow me, when I successfully transcend my mortal form, to commit this act of defiance again.”

Glacia’s lips curled slightly: ”In this world, as long as I permit, no rules can bind you!”

Rommel said softly: ”But I myself am unwilling to break the rules that govern me.”

Fengo thought for a moment and still managed to insert a line into the string of fawning words: ”Grand Magus Glacia, you...”

Although it was a bit awkward, he still hoped Glacia would decisively accept the homage from these three Tower Masters of the Tower of Dark Enigma in front of Bisozeya’s statue.

Even though in the rush, the language used to express allegiance might have some loopholes, ultimately, it was a temporary completion of one matter.

Moreover, it not only puts their side at ease but also ensures the Tower of Dark Enigma is at peace!

They have already moved into the Sia Tower, yet things remain uncertain... If a formal allegiance ceremony were held, incidents like Delphus’ would no longer occur.

Even though there are certainly many who schemed in the shadows, at least they wouldn’t overtly clamor for conflict!

If there were such fools, Fengo could directly use forceful measures to suppress them.

As the Hell Prosecutor, Fengo held himself to strict standards: only dealing with matters that violate the law within the bounds of the rules... He would definitely not handle offenders outside his jurisdiction lightly.

It’s just that Hell’s law is indeed the will of Asmodier.

The rules of Sia Tower, of course, also stem from the Lord of Hell.

Of course, as the apparent master, Glacia could establish rules of her own, provided she doesn’t violate these laws.

Even if Fengo thought she was courting trouble, he wouldn’t resist Glacia before receiving the Lord of Hell’s orders.

His inaction regarding Delphus was not only due to Glacia’s unexpected disappearance but also because he had to ask Glacia to indicate the severity of the matter first so that he could punish that guy according to the rules.

Although Fengo had his own speculations about Glacia’s unexpected situation, he would never reveal any awareness.

Moreover, whether the things in Delphus’ possession or Delphus himself carried any special significance, Fengo couldn’t be sure.

So, how Glacia, inadvertently caught up in the fallout from Delphus’ reckless actions, plans to deal with that fool... Fengo wasn’t insane enough to make decisions for her.

Therefore, the most important thing now is to truly incorporate the Tower of Dark Enigma into the rules of Sia Tower; then, many matters become easier to handle.

Fengo certainly had his own considerations... There were signals brought by Delphus that he really didn’t want to handle personally.

So he wanted to see Glacia’s reaction.

If possible, Fengo most wanted to dump a few unlucky ones to follow behind Delphus and then kick them all out of the Tower of Dark Enigma.

In that way, no matter where or who was connected to the trouble related to Lansendel, it would have nothing to do with Fengo.

As for whether the other side would come knocking... At that time, they would seek Asmodier, or at least Glacia, not a small minion who merely followed orders like him?

Glacia looked coldly at Fengo: ”Why are you so bothersome?

What’s there to be anxious about?

Wait until the Kamente Tower... wait until everything is over to officially hold the ceremony!”

Fengo only felt his eyebrows and eyelids twitching together... Glacia’s reaction was unusual!

This person was being too evasive!

What had she done?

Fengo quickly associated it with things beneath the statue of Bisozeya and... the bright moon above the White Tower.

Though he continuously reassured himself that it was impossible, still... this was Glacia!

What couldn’t she do?

But this concerned the resurrection of her own mother!

Glacia managed to live with such arrogance in Hell, all due to the spoiling by Bisozeya!

She... of course, devils never speak of love and trust, and emotions are things to be wiped on the floor, but Glacia wouldn’t go so far as to give up her greatest reliance, right?

Everyone knew Glacia’s importance would diminish over time as Asmodier’s integration with Hell deepened.

After all, she was only fifty percent.

Although the Lord of Hell didn’t want to fully integrate himself with Hell, he would certainly still be willing with only a part.

Eventually, he could surpass this fifty percent himself.

But if Bisozeya reappeared, Asmodier could assimilate with Hell through her... Although this is somewhat troublesome, at least, for the Lord of Hell who harbors doubts, it might be more suitable.
