Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1349: Chapter 1139: The True Enemy

The seemingly endless dark clouds in the sky suddenly began to churn, eventually transforming into a giant spirit wearing a turban, with a shadowy complexion. A single eye gazed violently at Hill, while beneath the eyepatch on the other side seemed to roll with flashes of lightning and the roar of thunder.

Beside him, the storm swept up yellow sand, and at his feet, whirlwinds rolled with acid rain, lightning, and hail.

Hill let out a gentle laugh, suddenly struck by inspiration: ”Or... should I say, long have I admired your name, Chief Orc God Gewoosh.”

”Hmm?” Talos’ eyes flickered for a moment, but a smile appeared on his face, ”Why... wouldn’t you think I’m Horus of Mulholland?

Having inherited the last bit of divine power of thunder, he is more like Talos, isn’t he?”

Hill’s long eyelashes trembled slightly, his thoughts sank a little... Gewoosh admitted it so easily?

”Rather than thinking that a loser could devour the Storm God of Toril, I believe more in the victor’s pursuit.” Hill said faintly.

”He wanted the thunder’s divine power of lightning.” Talos... or rather Gewoosh, who controlled this persona, sneered, ”Unfortunately, at that time, I was also devouring the power of thunder.

His luck wasn’t so good, while mine was pretty decent, right?”

”Our Teraxil...” Hill began but quickly stopped himself, ”I’m not interested in asking you why.

Such matters, for the God of Orcs, don’t really need any reason to be questioned.”

”Still... it’s something worth mentioning.” Gewoosh said with an odd tone, ”The blame lies with your world, having so many elves, and fitting perfectly for my animal experiments!

Perfect, isn’t it?

Were it not for that White Wolf choosing to die in the Abyss, Teraxil would have entered my Shura Field by now!”

Hill tilted his head, revealing a cold smile: ”Then... let’s start the war!”

Before his voice had faded, 12 hurricanes filled with flying sand and rolling stones surged towards Gewoosh... Hill wanted to see for himself, who would be more favored by the wind, he with natural elemental power of the wind, or this Talos avatar controlled by Gewoosh!

Gewoosh laughed wildly: ”Ha~ arrogant little whelp! I want to see what kind of good things Coron can raise!”

Hill’s hand paused slightly, he couldn’t help but enunciate clearly: ”Compared to Coron, I think you should look at the tree you were born from.”

”The World Tree?” Gewoosh paused for two seconds before continuing, ”A place already left behind, no need to mention it again.

Even if it’s him, given the chance, I would make a move... conquest and slaughter are the truest existence!”

Hill sneered: ”I certainly don’t think you have any kind of positive sentiment, but I’m... not planning on seeking revenge on you as an elf!

I! Am Hill, from the Teraxil, a child of the World Tree!”

He gestured lightly with his slender and strong fingers, causing countless sand particles to suddenly condense into chains, racing towards Talos.

Gewoosh laughed aloud, dark-colored walls appeared around him... this was the domain magic Entropy Light Shield, which could force a 20% failure rate for long-range attack spells.

Yet he couldn’t help but mutter ’Hmm?’.

The chains from Hill, to his surprise, passed through all four walls, hitting directly towards him.

He cursed angrily... but as someone who had been opposed to Coron for years, he found nothing strange about it.

That elf, destined to be crushed by him sooner or later, always had this inexplicable luck... so even when his enemy’s preparations were thorough, it gave him the chance to escape death and then turn defeat into victory.

For instance, the well-prepared rebellion by Rose... Gewoosh watched from beginning to end, unable to understand how it ended in such failure.

With Coron’s divinity and the World Tree’s bloodline eternally encircled by Nature’s Blessing, having a bit of extra luck he could understand... but what the hell? Why didn’t a single one get blocked?

Gewoosh, whose luck was always low and who often faced bizarre failures in Hell, became enraged: ”Lucky ones! They should all die!”

Hill blinked at the curse... having Gewoosh hate him wasn’t surprising, even saying he’s a child of the World Tree, Coron’s divinity is present in him... but the biggest reason being his luck was slightly startling.

”What’s the daze for?” Fran, who had been silent behind him, lightly scolded.

His crystal ball rushed above the two of them, with a dazzling rainbow light blocking the countless lightning bolts thrown over by Gewoosh, creating a brilliantly striking spectacle in the space between.

Gewoosh laughed wildly: ”Do you think using a heap of earth will restrain me, naïve little whelp!”

His form was that of a divine beast!

A thunder spear floated behind him, Gewoosh’s muscles tautened, intending to snap off the sandy chains binding him and then throw them at the two mages with brute force.

Tch!

Do they think hanging a spell for weapon misdirection can resist the great power of Gewoosh?

Even Coron couldn’t magically dodge his spear!

Hmm?

Gewoosh moved his arm again, but the chains still didn’t budge.

He looked down grimly: ”Is this bloody power from the World Tree? Were you rolled out from beneath its roots?”

Hill quietly rolled his eyes, silently slipping on gloves woven from mithril and gold thread.

”Ah! Power! I will not lose to a little whelp!” Gewoosh roared, his anger fueling, as he finally shattered the layers of chains surrounding him.

”Haha~” Gewoosh laughed joyfully, then rode the wind directly towards Hill... their storms cancelled each other out.

Hill could feel, with Gewoosh’s self-detonation, his storm power was weakening... Toril’s primordial power was negating his presence.

With a wave of his hand, 12 hurricanes arose again, crashing towards the gigantic figure heading for him.

Fran made a slight movement, endless flames burst forth from the Sphere of All Spells, rolling directly into Hill’s hurricanes.

”Ah...” Gewoosh roared impatiently, ”Damn! It’s two against one!

I... don’t lack for allies either, come out!”

Hill couldn’t help but look around: Visaron wouldn’t be so foolish, right?

Then he saw, in the distance, a giant orc running towards them: with enormous muscles, dirty brown skin, and dark green eyes, clad in heavy inset leather armor and iron gloves.

The tusks protruding from either side of his mouth were the kind, bone-chewed white.

Bagchu.

Hill couldn’t help but look up at the sky: While the Toril Gods couldn’t descend to the lower realm, the Orcish Pantheon seemed to be jumping out one by one!

How long has it been since Yinafu got beaten back?

What’s on AO’s mind?

Gewoosh’s gleeful laughter abruptly ceased.

His reckless nature... his basically brainless son, though obediently charging out, failed to determine who the enemy was, directly entangling with the undead on the ground.

Bagchu, with his brute strength, could sweep away many knights surrounding him with a wave of his hand... however, the undead knights weren’t just in thousands, but rather tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands in number!

The giant orc, whose head seemed akin to stone, delightedly stomped on elves at his feet, even forgetting why his father called him out.

Gewoosh howled in anger twice, yet, the undead’s attack wasn’t entirely in vain. Even if Bagchu realized what he was supposed to do, facing the already orderly undead legion, he lost the ability to break through again... this savage orc, never using weapons or wearing armor, proved useful against a single enemy.

But the undead... were precisely the type he struggled most to deal with.

Gewoosh snorted coldly: ”Sagasi! Are you not coming out yet!”

A distant mound began to tremble slowly, and a tall, emaciated orc with pitch-black eyes and skin, draped in a black cloak, gradually emerged.
