Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Capítulo 1328: Chapter 1119: Chaotic Anmur

Edna was regretful, her pout and face full of dissatisfaction, and her usually spirited black eyes were now filled with grievance.

However, even though she acted so pretentiously, the official of Agleya City remained unmoved.

Lynn refused decisively, not even bothering to go back and ask about Hill’s intentions.

His calm face, always ready to spar seriously and secretly with Edna, actually crumpled because of Edna’s indirect questions!

Edna sighed, and to avoid her bringing up the question again, Lynn pressed on, deciding against showing her around the castle, and instead handed her an invoice, watching Edna sign her name and mark it… Facing Lynn, who knew her identity, Edna honestly impressed the Weave mark… Lynn swiftly took her to the control center, completed the handover, and quickly slipped away.

Fortunately, Hill was an Alchemist Master who loved using intelligence cores for tasks.

Edna gazed at the virtual figure emerging from the control center, hesitated for a few seconds, then decisively set the appearance of this Tower Spirit as a composite of ‘Old Age Striking King’ and her brother-in-law, of course, turning it into a cute and beautiful little girl.

She likely wouldn’t have the chance to witness the birth of this long-awaited younger sister, but she could create one for herself!

As long as she didn’t mention it, others might not realize, right?

After all, it’s just a deduction from a virtual appearance.

Tilting her head thoughtfully, Edna jovially named her main supervisor for this possibly Eternal Temple… Anna Bella.

She really hoped the future child of the Sanda King would be like the Sanda King, but if she voiced this, even the usually tolerant ‘Old Age Striking King’ would probably slap her.

So, she could only give this child a lawless name.

Although Lynn left swiftly, he still succinctly explained some basic functions of the Cloud House which she understood.

Hill might have been making strange objects for the Undead Tribe, so there were generally no settings that made it incomprehensible or captivating for the Controller.

Now, this Cloud House relied on the energy absorbed by the Ningbrow Astrolabe from the outside world, so the castle’s capabilities were likely just comparable to the puzzle lock capacity maintained by Silvermoon City’s Moonbridge.

But if she linked this Cloud Castle with the Weave in the future… the defenses of the Divine Kingdom on earth might not be as strong as those of this Cloud Temple.

Most importantly, Edna stood in the top hall of the castle, gazing at the sky… through the entirely transparent glass steel, the scenery outside was completely visible.

Then she waved her hand, and the sky transformed according to her thoughts directly into the starry sky… the starry sky above the Hidden Forest.

This was the starry sky formed by the energy of the Ningbrow Astrolabe, ensuring it looked exactly like what she’d seen atop the Bell Tower in Hidden Town.

And if using the energy of the Weave, sitting on the sacred and majestic looking, yet truly soft and comfortable throne in the hall, she could see the Stellar Realm outside Toril, even witnessing the tiny stars in the Tears of Celene constantly collapsing and rebuilding.

Hill had given her a very practical palace, and made it so beautiful, how could Edna not think of that wrecked place, Josse Garden!

Once she returned there, the first thing she’d do was learn from Shaer and survey her territory from top to bottom!

The dog holes in the Shadow Realm were dug by Mask, and Shaer could find someone to blame… Mask was part of the Shadow Force ripped from Shaer, achieving this wasn’t so surprising either.

What about her Josse Garden?

Obviously, Midnight hadn’t inspected it thoroughly, otherwise, even if some lesser God Servant within had issues, they’d never have the skill to hide from Mystra!

She was, after all, the sole owner of Josse Garden!

Thinking about these messy matters made Edna feel uncomfortable… she definitely had to demolish and rebuild everything except the books, treasures, and divine artifacts!

Unfortunately, it seemed that Hill would absolutely never agree to enter Paradise Realm to work… though that place saw quite a number of mortals visiting.

But Hill’s prevention was understandable to Edna… that old guy AO was indeed hugely annoying!

Celene glanced at the North, then instructed Anna Bella to drive the Cloud House towards White Dragon Mountain.

Elvia was already peering from the mountaintop over there.

Upon flying into the Cloud House, the White Dragon Queen’s immediate reaction was to roll over the grassy field filled with blue and purple little flowers: “Edna, this seems like the lawn outside your Elven teacher’s house!

Would be beautiful at night, watching the stars!”

Edna nodded with a smile: “That’s right! Those are Starflowers, loved by Mithril Elves. Wherever they live, these flowers are never absent.

I never thought Hill would pay attention to such a detail.”

Elvia gently sat up, lowered her head, leaning close to Edna: “So… as long as we’re above these clouds, it’s just like being at home, isn’t it?

Will you… still leave this Cloud House in Toril?”

Edna laughed: “Hill, indeed just as the Undead Tribe said, very gentle.”

“Hmm?”

“He left me a Tower Spirit, and those perennial flowers in the courtyard can be seeded. Anna Bella will help me collect these seeds that he has optimized.” Edna gently opened her hand, “Hill is telling me, Josse Garden, since it belongs to me, it should change according to my wishes.

I want it to be filled with stars, and those stars should be the most beautiful scenery in Josse Garden.”

Elvia tilted her head and thought for a moment, with a tone of disbelief: “But why do you need Hill to tell you this?

Your home should follow your wishes anyway!”

“Heh~” Edna lightly patted her forehead, “Did you hear that? The Lady of Midnight, assassinated in her own courtyard?”

Elvia finally understood what her friend was up to and shook her head helplessly: “We still need to go pick up Leonard and the others, right?”

Edna slowly walked to the edge of the Cloud House, holding the transparent, invisible wall, and looked down: “He’s already left Lynn’s family and is heading towards the inn.

Looks like his brother has already told him.

We should just go directly to the inn.”

“And then go to Anmur?” Elvia happily flapped her wings, “If we go now, we might even make some money!”

“Nibro Island, you made quite a bit, didn’t you?”

“Why do you always say such useless things, dear Edna!” Elvia defended herself, “Alausato made over a million at once and is still diligently catching pirates worth 5 gold coins over there!”

For Elvia’s ambition, Edna quickly picked up her teammates and the Undead Tribe, and flew directly to Anmur… After completing her order, Hill seemed to have notified the Undead Tribe as well, and the ‘Old Age Striking King’ returned with hundreds of Undead who were tasked with escorting her and Leonard.

‘Cunlü’ was still there, but ‘Hard Wind’ and ‘Snow Cloud Peak’ did not come.

Edna understood that this meant that on Anmur’s side, a war was imminent.

Otherwise, even if there were only a few hours of free time, those guys with escort tasks would surely have come along.

After all, the escort task is paid based on the time the Undead spend with her and Leonard.

Making money, the Undead take this very seriously.

It’s just that their method of calculating costs is different from the Toril side.

As ‘Old Age Striking King’ had imagined, even when this castle in the clouds entered the territory of Anmur, it encountered no obstruction… It easily merged into the floating clouds.

But the Undead, who initially wanted to use their high vantage point for some advantage, all went crazy playing in the dreamlike beautiful castle.

What’s fun about the battlefield below? It’s the castle with different landscape walls in every room that’s worth their careful appreciation, right?

Even when Anna Bella told these undead that these landscapes were intercepted from various places across Toril and they could travel there anytime, it did not extinguish the undead’s zeal to want to view all the rooms.

Hill did not choose to place a High-level Tower Spirit in Edna’s castle; Anna Bella’s intelligence was not even half of what Marsha’s used to be.

Hill wouldn’t gift a future-thinking Tower Spirit like Marsha to be ruined by the Weave… He wants intelligent constructs to be like normal people, while AO and the Weave would turn a soulful being into a puppet.

Even if the appearance of the Undead Tribe led Edna’s fate down another path, Hill knew how ruthless they could be.

So when facing hundreds of crazy undead, Anna Bella, who had just been born and was still learning, had to abandon the thought of persuading them… She needed a moment to figure out why these undead were doing this.

Edna bore no dissatisfaction with the intelligent core that drifted contemplatively through the corridors.

She simply sat on that throne which could drift about the hall, smiling down at the chaotic Anmur below.

Though on the coastline, Anmur displayed a stance of full-on resistance… and had already announced to the entire Ferun Great Land about the ‘hypocrisy and greed’ of the Lord of Agleya.

But sadly, who doesn’t know it was them who struck first this time?

The Lord of Agleya may always be gentle and easygoing, but the Teraxil Elves are not.

Who doesn’t know they’re always running around outside, just lacking an excuse strong enough to prove that their own Main God follows the rules… Yes, the ones they need to convince are not the Toril Deities.

Since Anmur garnered this excuse by stretching its claws first, they can’t blame others for having the numbers.

The most important thing is, no one wants to attract the attention of these elves known for being undead to their own country.

And with no reinforcements, not even a peep from neighboring Tethyr, which always presents a reliant demeanor towards powerful neighbors, Anmur turned into the scene before us.

On the surface, it resists fiercely, but in reality, some have already started packing up.

Indeed, Anmur is worthy of being the land of commerce.
