Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1325: Chapter 1116: The Sanda King’s Intentions in Old Age

”Then... what about Nenbro Island?” Edna quickly seized on the matter that Baldy seemed to deliberately omit.

”We can give it to Ambori~,” ’Perfect Bald’ replied with a grin, ”She’s willing to exchange an ice crystal mine near the Great Glacier, isn’t that exactly near Elvia’s territory!”

”This is a pretty nice divine kingdom on earth, just a mine... and you’re willing to trade it?” Edna asked curiously, tilting her head.

Although this island was found using the treasure map in her hands, without the Undead Tribe, she wouldn’t have been able to occupy it so easily.

Being able to take away the treasures on the island and the Ningbrow Astrolabe was already due to the benevolence of the Undead Tribe; they didn’t fuss over so much with her, even letting her take the lion’s share.

Though the Undead Tribe appeared friendly, if it weren’t for the main force coming here being Black Rose, who had always had a good relationship with Edna, the division of benefits wouldn’t have been so smooth and easy.

Therefore, Edna never really thought about ownership issues regarding this island... Even Midnight, who always seemed clueless about the situation, wouldn’t be so greedy.

Edna originally never thought that the lively Undead Tribe would have any interest in this drifting island, which is why she intended to make good use of it.

But if the Undead Tribe had a use for it, she wouldn’t compete with them.

Of course, if it weren’t for her friends around, she wouldn’t have offered such a valuable place like Nenbro Island, even if Edna needed to divert attention away from herself.

The young girl thought pensively... In that case, if she returned to Nenbro Island a long time later, would Sebek have already completely hidden himself?

She had no doubt that Ambori could be fooled by that big crocodile... No one ever questioned how Ambori got deceived by something like Marla.

It seems she only uses that seaweed seed-sized brain of hers when fleeing.

So Edna remained at ease, knowing she would never stay on that island.

As for choosing between a magic ship or Cloud House... Is there even a need to think about it?

It would be Cloud House for sure!

Edna believed that since Lord Hill could build such a strong magic ship, he could certainly create a large floating palace in the clouds where a giant dragon could live and fly.

After all, there’s no need to worry about kinetic energy problems; she could completely connect the Weave with that Cloud House.

As long as Edna remained alive... No, as long as something like the Weave existed, and AO needed it, Mystra’s Temple on the clouds would never fall.

As for Hidden Town, let that beautiful lakeshore town belong only to Edna!

It was her only recognized home.

Even if one day, she becomes a former Mystra, her home should still remember her.

’Perfect Bald’ sneered a bit: ”Hill doesn’t wish for the sea goddess of Toril to completely disappear, after all, Agleya definitely wouldn’t divide her own divinity.”

Edna blinked. She quickly understood... If that Teraxil sea goddess had no interest in expanding divinity in Toril, then having a competitor like Ambori was indeed a good thing.

”I thought she’d be happy to be recognized by Toril so quickly!” Edna couldn’t help but laugh.

”How could that be?” ’Perfect Bald’ couldn’t resist the urge to complain, ”When did you ever hear anyone publicly proclaiming the name of our little Agleya!

Hill really thought back then that Agleya’s reputation should only exist in the northern Sword Bay area.

Doesn’t Toril have a lot of these regional gods?

Who would’ve known... Ambori actually completed this personality that’s enraging and provoking the heaven and the gods!

Even evil-dominated countries preferred to have their fishermen pray to Agleya!

The first time black light emerged from Agleya Temple, hey~ Hill was so shocked that he rushed out of the Floating Castle!

Tsk, he thought some evil demon managed to bypass his Puzzle Lock.”

Edna tilted her head in thought: ”Actually, we didn’t expect it either. After all, Agleya is a foreign deity, it’s just... no one thought mortals would reject her to such an extent.”

”Right~” ’Perfect Bald’ was never still for a moment, his two long ponytails bouncing in the air with his movements, ”Hill didn’t react much at first and often joked that maybe Ambori might end up becoming a Racial God!

But when it looked like the Sea Kelp was really venturing down that path of no return, Hill began to worry.

After all, he didn’t plan on staying in Toril forever, and Agleya has always not accepted any worship.

What if a powerful Ocean God suddenly emerged?

With only Agleya, for Agleya City, that would be an unfortunate cause.

Compared to Agleya’s divine rights, for Hill, Agleya City was more important... Even if we beat this troublemaker back, if Lynn and Agleya City suffer any misfortune, then what’s the point?

Instead, it’s better to let Ambori stand there; if something goes wrong, she’d be the first one in trouble, right?

After all, no matter how strong our Agleya is, she’s from another world and presents herself as having no desires.”

Edna pondered for a moment and nodded very seriously... if Agleya really can’t be pulled over, then with AO’s notorious temper, he’ll definitely stir up trouble.

He might just grab a ruthless Ocean God from some world, or simply let Talos completely annex the Divinity of the Ocean God.

Although Agleya City has many powerful Divine Powers behind it, no city can stay vigilant all the time!

It’s really difficult for mortals to compete with deities in terms of patience.

Even if Edna herself is willing to stand against the new Ocean God for Agleya... but if that’s AO’s will, what use could she have?

Shaer and Celene, although they’ve caused AO a lot of trouble, have never really succeeded in rebelling!

After watching Midnight’s memories and hearing Black Eye’s story, Edna understands most clearly that Toril belongs neither to the humans nor to the deities.

This universe belongs only to AO.

”So what are you waiting for?” The ’Old Age Striking King’ came up, ”Quickly get on with your work! Don’t you want to go to Anmur to join the battle?

That country relies entirely on maritime transport to survive; Old Dog’s kind of blockade, they won’t last long.

Especially you! Elvia.”

The female priest glared viciously at the White Dragon Queen, who was looking around: ”Didn’t you say everything inside belongs to you? Then what are you waiting for?

You have 5 hours to clean up the battlefield, and then we’ll take the Nibro Star Disc back to Agleya!

If you don’t want to leave things behind for Ambori for free, you better hurry up!”

Elvia froze for a moment, her wings stiffly rising and falling: ”Why are we in such a hurry to go to Agleya?”

”Are you stupid?” The ’Old Age Striking King’ rolled her eyes at her, ”I had someone ask Hill, and he said the primary function of the Nibro Star Disc is indeed teleportation, but it can also be used as the center of a Puzzle Lock.

Especially the Cloud House... Edna definitely wants the Cloud House, right?

I contacted Hill to see if he still had purple clouds there.”

Edna showed a cute smile: ”Uh huh~”

”Hill is one of the rare few who can use water energy to create a Puzzle Lock, plus the sealing and positioning abilities the Star Disc possesses, even if we fly into Anmur in the sky, we won’t be detected!” The ’Old Age Striking King’ said briskly, ”And although there isn’t a purely purple one, there is a large cloud layer with pale purple clouds twining around in the white cloud.

The seven-layered castle atop is modeled after the Crystal Castle, it’s a very famous Princess Castle in our Undead World~

It suits Edna well, and we can just plant more purple flowers by then, right?”

Edna blinked, fiercely pressing down the moisture that had reached her eyelids: ”Yes~ It sounds beautiful!

I like Sanda King Sister best~”

The ’Old Age Striking King’ squinted and smiled, proudly puffing up her little chest.

They all knew that although Hill always appeared gentle, he seldom showed up before the people of Toril, aside from Lynn.

And no one has the capability to visit Hill’s Floating Castle nowadays; not even the Little Golden Dragon Taili, who used to come frequently, has flown up there for a long time.

So, if Edna truly wanted to directly find the Lord of Agleya, she’d have to wait and find an opportunity slowly in the future.

But who knows when that would be?

At least for now, the Nibro Star Disc can only revert to its prototype, lying quietly in Edna’s bracelet... an unexpanded Star Disc, besides concealing Edna’s location, has no other use.

The ’Old Age Striking King’ had to put in quite some effort to contact that lord guarding the Floating Castle on Nibro Island.

Even though her friend was willing to help with all their might, they did it solely for the ’Old Age Striking King’s’ favor!

Edna gently combed her waterfall-like flowing long hair back, showing her Sanda King Sister the brightest smile.

However, her sentiment was quickly interrupted... Elvia, who had been waiting behind her the whole time, unceremoniously threw Edna onto her back, took wing, and flew directly towards Nibro Island: ”Ahhh~ Hurry up! Hurry up!

Wherever Elvia goes, not a blade of grass will be left!”

On the Floating Castle, Hill turned and glanced a couple of times at the gigantic screen, then turned back to ponder over the Cloud House core in front of him.

In the heart of the ’Old Age Striking King’, that’s Edna’s vehicle, parked in the Hidden Town when idle, and driven wherever needed.

But Hill understood that Edna might easily see this cloud castle as her sanctum.

If that’s the case, there’s no need to worry about energy at all; the Weave is originally the most abundant energy source in Toril.

Hill couldn’t help but rub his hands... what architect wouldn’t love a client with no budget limit?
