Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 529: Chapter 328: The Fate of Contracted Magical Beasts

The World Tree spoke bluntly, ”Don’t think it’s a bad thing that those two want to build a star gate for our world. Our world has indeed been exposed completely.

The number of deities outside is far different from our newly born world, too numerous to count.

This time, we did win the war, but our world’s coordinates were exposed by the defeated enemy.

The human deities may not know, but the elves and dwarves are very clear about it, and the Abyssal Hell probably knows too.

Let’s not mention the elves for now, as their people still need to survive in this world.

But the dwarves, especially the dwarf gods of the evil faction, definitely won’t keep it a secret for us, and the abyss is still connected to our world!

If the star gate isn’t opened, most of those who might come later would be evil gods, demons, and devils from the evil faction.

With the greed of the abyss, it might not pay much attention to our small world for now, but it would never give up, certainly entangling with us to the end. Don’t think that by defeating a small minion once, we can rely on our own strength to fight against the abyss.

Coron is so powerful, yet even he is helpless against the abyss and had to seek outside help.

And as for all of you in Teraxil, how many of you even know the names and divinities of those evil gods eyeing our world? Which Great Demon Lord is targeting us?

We need to connect with the outside world; the enemy won’t just disappear on their own. The dwarf evil gods still alive are determined to target our world.

What we killed were only their subordinates.

And those from other worlds, whatever they think internally, wouldn’t openly offend Teraxil, which is protected by Coron, the Father of Elves, and the World Tree Igdrasil together.

Contacting some external creatures wouldn’t harm us much.

Many worlds want to build a star gate but don’t have the capability.

The required resources are all from the starry sky! Without powerful deities, it’s impossible to get that many resources.

Even if the God of Time and Space knew how to find these resources, would he build the star gate? Does he have such strong divine power?

This is the best opportunity for us!

We’ve already lost the chance to completely isolate ourselves; we can’t just watch others come in, can we?”

The God of Time and Space was moved, and Hill understood that, compared to other deities, he better understood the consequences of a closed-door policy.

Sometimes, it’s not that ignoring things will protect oneself.

Moreover, if the two deities were rejected, would Teraxil still receive the protection of the World Tree?

Coron would then only ensure the elves’ survival.

Whether it’s evil gods or demons harming this world, he wouldn’t be kind enough to intervene. Deities aren’t so benevolent; even those in the kind alignment mostly only care about their own followers.

The Elven God King and others might pay a certain price, but leaving this world isn’t impossible for them.

The World Tree’s tone wasn’t heavy, but no one present was foolish, and they all clearly understood what he implied.

The matter of the star gate was beyond discussion.

Teraxil could only gladly accept it, and those two deities might even think it was an act of goodwill.

The originally cheerful Legendary Mages gradually quieted down.

This was the consequence of insufficient strength. No matter if the other choice was foolish, no one would be happy when there’s no opportunity to choose.

Not to mention that those sitting here were all proud beings.

Therefore, the World Tree first brought up the matter of the Undead Tribe, as only this issue could allow the deities to make a choice.

Those two were only trying to avoid trouble; if there was a ready-made solution, of course, they wanted to use it directly, otherwise, they would have to carefully observe the Undead Tribe learning to refine those elemental bodies.

Moreover, the most important thing was that many deities disliked the World Without Magic and absolutely didn’t want to deal with them.

The World Will of the World Without Magic was as powerful as the deities with strong divine power; without their permission, the crystal wall couldn’t be broken.

Everyone knew there were many people there, but those deities who wanted to go in and recruit followers ended up becoming just legend stories.

But even if Teraxil’s deities refused this request, it wasn’t impossible for them to spend the effort and time to create their set.

No matter how difficult it was to deal with the World Will, it wasn’t entirely without a way; otherwise, no legend stories would appear.

William spoke calmly, ”Does the star gate have to be built within the world? Can’t it be built outside? We can transport materials up to build a platform.

If necessary, let the God of Time and Space create a teleportation array to travel from inside the world to the outer space.

Those who can travel through the star gate can certainly hold out for a few minutes in the starry sky.

Or we can simply enclose the teleportation place; as long as the element concentration inside is enough, wouldn’t that work?

To be honest, anyone daring to pass through the star gate should at least be a legend in this world, right?

The others, only the Undead Tribe wouldn’t need much protection, so that would be enough.”

”I’ll go with the Sun God to select a few places for you to see.” The eyes of the Goddess of the Silvermoon sparkled as she clenched her left hand into a fist and struck her right palm, ”We are quite familiar with the starry sky. There are a few places I remember that are suitable and have enough space for us to lay down a defensive formation.”

”It can’t be too far from Teraxil,” the God of Time and Space said flatly, ”We need to consider the distance for the teleportation array.”

”I know; those places can all lead to other worlds. If something goes wrong, we can seal them off and throw them out!”

Hill couldn’t help but glance at the Goddess of the Silvermoon. He remembered that this goddess liked to observe other worlds before; it was she who brought the elves and dwarves here.

So, she probably knew some suitable places.

Surely, she had explored this world enough and then became interested in other worlds.

Seeing that the deities had already made a decision, the mages rejoiced and began discussing fervently.

The World Tree gave the deities and humans some time to calm their emotions before continuing, ”Where you build the star gate is up to you.

It doesn’t concern me; it will be an issue after the world advances and the world’s authority increases, encompassing the nearby starry sky.

Once you’ve selected a place, just inform me.

The matter of the star gate, all residents of this world who want to pass through must understand in detail.

I’m not worried about the deities’ followers. Even if they go out to proselytize, you couldn’t just ignore it; surely, you’d inform them thoroughly.

But mages and magicians! They need special attention.

Especially mages! No matter how much you dislike meddling, Draculus, any mage you inform about the star gate must know what they’re facing.

The World Will would place restrictions at the star gate site. A mage who knows nothing would increase your guilt.

Summoning you isn’t because of your strength, but because you owe this world; this is the price you must pay.

That’s why the Fran Legend could leave easily while you are trapped in this world by chains, unable to see or touch the starry path.

The World Will always looks at the result. No matter how you argue that the Mage Association’s matters have nothing to do with you, so many lives were lost because of the Mage Association’s existence. You must make amends.

Simply killing the ringleaders isn’t worth that much.”

Draculus’s face turned grim. His determination to remain absolutely neutral stemmed from not wanting to form causal ties with anyone or anything. But unexpectedly, the Mage Association, from which he derived the greatest assistance, became his greatest shackle.

Hill lowered his head, not wanting to reveal his gloating expression too obviously.

After all, the Legendary Mages were all sitting directly across from him.

At this moment, William, sitting at the very front, was enviable. Even if he grinned widely, showing his white teeth, and laughed so joyfully, as long as the mages behind didn’t hear him, they could pretend not to see.

Hill, however, couldn’t be so rude by mocking the guests openly as the host.

But seeing such a delightful scene, he was willing to stand as the only unlucky one in the hall.

Hill glanced again at the happily squatting Aurelio at the corner, watching his occasionally swaying little tail. He felt a bit envious.

Why could the Earth Bear transform into a person, yet he, as a Warlock, couldn’t transform into an Earth Bear?

What was the principle behind the Druid’s transformation spell? He wanted to study it.

The World Tree finished speaking and waited for a while. Seeing no one intending to speak up, it directly announced the end of this meeting.

If there was anything else, please visit at the same time next month; the remaining time would be used to help the World Will sort out the law lines.

Agleya’s eyes brightened, and she remained seated.

The Legendary Mages and Magicians left directly. For them, the star gate was the only focus.

As for the changes in laws requiring adjustments in various spells, it was just a minor inconvenience for a legend.

The deities seemed to plan for another meeting right there to discuss matters related to the Undead Tribe and job transitions before the star gate.

Hill, noticing this, immediately called Agleya out of the hall.

Merkel and Alice quickly followed. They were there only as witnesses, as subordinates of the Goddess of the Earth, and leaders of the Great Earth Beasts, listening quietly was all they had to do.

”Merkel,” Hill thought of something and first spoke to the black panther, ”Most magical beasts the Undead Tribe brings are of the Earth System. Whether they follow to other worlds is for you to consider carefully.”

Merkel looked at Hill in surprise. He had actually stopped considering those Earth System beasts as his people; magical beasts contracted with humans couldn’t return to the magical beast world, could they?

”I didn’t bind them with such strong contracts,” Hill said with a smile, ”I’m a Nature Warlock after all!

If they don’t want to leave this world, they can stay.

The future of magical beasts should be decided by the magical beasts themselves.”
