Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 133: Chapter 94: Li Younan’s Engraving Knife [6,500 Words] (Part 2)

Thinking about this, Li Younan felt a bit ashamed because he couldn’t fully trust JK Long.

But soon after, JK Long said, ”However, the business deals you’re taking on are too low-quality. How about I handle the business collaborations for you? I’ll find you some high-quality promotional opportunities.”

Li Younan raised an eyebrow slightly, as Brother Long hadn’t shown any talent in this area yet.

Li Younan hesitated for a moment.

Seemingly sensing Li Younan’s concerns, JK Long added, ”Waiting for business partners to add you on WeChat is too passive. Let me reach out to some high-quality partners. Anyway, you’ll be signing the contracts. If you don’t think it works, just veto it.”

Seeing this, Li Younan realized this could completely avoid his risk, like a business agent model.

Li Younan thought for a moment and asked, ”What do you think the share should be for this part?”

JK Long was ”typing...” for a long time before he finally replied, ”How about 10% for both video editing and agent work?”

Looking at this number, Li Younan fell into contemplation and was speechless.

Not because this number was too high; on the contrary, it was insultingly low.

Firstly, it’s certain that Brother Long is not an MCN agency, but an entirely independent individual. If he were to handle business affairs, it would be direct liaison between himself and the brand.

Li Younan checked online and found that such agents usually get a high commission, around 20% - 30%.

Moreover, JK Long is also his video producer. Combined, his commission should be at least over 30%!

Li Younan shakily typed a few words over: ”Brother Long, are you doing charity?”

JK Long coldly said, ”Do you think I’m in it for the money?”

Li Younan couldn’t help but ask, ”Then what do you actually want?”

JK Long replied irritably, ”Why do you have so many questions? Why are you such a nag? If you agree, let’s do it. If you don’t, then forget it.”

Of course, Li Younan didn’t agree; he felt Brother Long would lose out too much.

This time, Li Younan also toughened up: ”That’s too little, I won’t agree. If you’re not going to do it, then forget it!”

The sudden firmness from Li Younan left JK Long speechless.

After a long silence, JK Long sarcastically sent a two-word reply: ”Idiot.”

In the end, an agreement was reached. JK Long would still retain the usual share for video editing, while the business deals would be calculated separately. For each successful deal, with Li Younan’s approval, the commission rate would vary based on the amount but would never exceed 20%.

Sometimes, Li Younan couldn’t help but think, could JK Long possibly be a...

But he wasn’t, so how could he be seen as a little girl in JK Long’s eyes?

Shaking off these messy thoughts, Li Younan was already exhausted and collapsed onto the bed, falling asleep immediately.

In a corner of a room in Chengdu.

A young girl slowly closed her laptop and sluggishly walked to the bed, turning off the light.

The room instantly plunged into darkness.

At this moment, someone gently knocked on the door.

The young girl softly responded, and the door was opened, leaving a crack.

She felt the light streaming through the crack was a bit harsh, and her breathing quickened slightly.

A hand gently reached in, placing a glass of milk on the table by the door, and softly said, ”Don’t forget to drink the milk.”

If Li Younan were here, he would immediately recognize the magnetic voice that had done the voice-overs for several of his videos.

The young girl replied again, then suddenly said, ”I have a new collaboration with him.”

The person outside was taken aback, ”What?”

The young girl wrapped herself tightly in the blanket and said, ”He’s missing a manager...”

The person outside remained silent for a long time, sighing softly, ”I get it... You really know how to create trouble for me.”

The door was gently closed again, and the room returned to darkness.

...

As time passed, day by day, Li Younan became more adept at his rural remodeling work.

As construction materials were delivered in portions, the project’s progress moved steadily forward, and it could be said it was going both quickly and well.

After completing the water and electricity renovations, Li Younan built a wall between the kitchen and the living room in the main hall, effectively separating them.

This way, the kitchen smoke wouldn’t drift into the living room.

Next, he removed all the concrete floors and laid tiles. Everything that could be moved was taken out, and what couldn’t be moved was tightly covered with waterproof cloth.

The living room was completely repainted, while the kitchen, considering the smoke issue, was tiled for easier cleaning.

In the guest room area, each room was extended to include an independent bathroom, with waterproofing still in progress over the past few days.

All of these steps were meticulously documented in the videos. However, the video views didn’t increase. Instead, each video’s views were gradually declining.

Li Younan wasn’t anxious, because nobody likes to watch unfinished products, including himself.

The slope at the back hadn’t been touched yet; Li Younan planned to deal with it last.

The project’s progress was like this, with time transitioning from July to August, and the weather growing increasingly hot.

It rained a few times during this period, but none were heavy.

Overall, the climate conditions in Baishui Town were quite favorable, with no historical records of natural disasters.
