Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 127: Chapter 92: 100,000-Follower Streamer’s Rural Renovation Project! [6,000 Words!] (Part 4)

You never know when suddenly your legs might not work as well.

The outhouse was dug many years ago, and at that time not much thought was put into it. Over the long term, the squat plank has become somewhat slippery, and it might not even be that sturdy anymore.

So this time, Li Younan originally planned to deal with the outhouse as well.

This time the rural waterway renovations also included sewers, and there would be a main road that would be dug about 30 meters from Grandpa’s house.

Li Younan planned to have the guy use a digger to make a small trench over there.

Once the sewage pipes arrive in a few days, they’ll be buried and eventually integrated into the village’s sewage system.

”That’s it for today’s tasks.” Li Younan arranged the time for tomorrow morning with the guy and was also ready to head back with Lu Xiaolan.

Grandpa and Grandma kept watching his car drive away, not saying much, just repeatedly urging, ”Drive slowly on the road.”

Sitting in the car, Lu Xiaolan sighed softly and said, ”Cousin, I feel like I didn’t do anything today, are you still going to pay me?”

Li Younan looking at the road ahead said, ”Of course! Talking about money hurts our relationship as siblings... But from tomorrow, you’ll have to start getting busy too.”

Early the next morning, when leaving home, Li Younan had Lu Xiaolan carry a bag with four power banks inside and also asked her to bring the camera’s tripod.

Lu Xiaolan curiously asked, ”Cousin, what are you taking these things for?”

Li Younan patted Xiaolan’s shoulder and said, ”I’m announcing that starting today, you’re my assistant.”

Lu Xiaolan was taken aback, ”Huh? Assistant? What kind of assistant?”

Li Younan brought out the spare phone, with only the livestreaming software installed, so it wouldn’t be disturbed by other calls or messages.

Handing this spare phone to Lu Xiaolan, Li Younan said, ”I’m planning to start a livestream, your task is to follow me wherever I go. Oh, by the way, don’t know if you usually watch livestreams, I heard there’s some kind of moderator function too. Anyway, research a bit, use your phone to log into the account and enable the privileges, and if you encounter any annoying people in the livestream, just block them.”

Lu Xiaolan didn’t know that Li Younan was making videos, let alone that he was now a fairly popular travel vlogger.

She didn’t think too much, took Li Younan’s phone, and muttered, ”Is it this professional?”

But when she opened Li Younan’s livestream app, she was stunned. ”One, two, three four... five, six!” Lu Xiaolan counted her fingers in disbelief, ”Tens, hundreds... one hundred thousand! Cousin, you actually have a hundred thousand followers, wow, you’re a big influencer!”

Li Younan blinked his eyes. He didn’t expect that last time he checked was only 70,000 followers, and it’s grown to 100,000 so quickly.

It seems like the video he shot last time in Nanchang did the trick, after all, it was shot with professional equipment and edited well by the officials, and they streamed it to boost his followers, that’s probably it.

Li Younan lifted the camera tripod with one hand, saying calmly, ”Don’t get too excited, it’s nothing too shocking.”

”Excited! Of course, I’m excited!” Lu Xiaolan looked at Li Younan, her eyes sparkling, ”Cousin, you’re amazing, how did you do it? Let me see your videos...”

Li Younan smiled, ”Watch them when we get in the car, for now, focus on going down the stairs, don’t fall.”

Lu Xiaolan nodded while staring at the phone screen, then lifted her head and bumped into the door frame.

Li Younan: ”...”
