Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1636: Chapter 810: Dialogue and Return

”No problem, I’ll wait for you to come over.” Zhou Yun nodded.

Since Zhou Yun was in a hurry to return to Australia for filming, she didn’t linger long in Los Angeles and rushed to the airport.

By the time she reached the hotel, it was already evening.

At the hotel, Zhou Yun happened to run into Tim Lang, who was just finished with work for the day.

When Tim Lang saw her, he said with surprise and delight, ”Xiao Yun, you’re back!”

”Hi, Tim, I’m back.” Zhou Yun walked over, ”Did you finish filming today?”

”Yes, we finished.” Tim Lang asked, ”When will your interview with Sedar air?”

Zhou Yun said, ”I don’t know, no one told me.”

Tim Lang said, ”Did they mention our ’Killing Song’?”

Zhou Yun nodded, saying, ”Yes, Sedar is also very interested in our movie.”

Tim Lang immediately displayed a child-like pure smile on his face.

Zhou Yun really liked Tim Lang.

This American man didn’t have the elite or arrogant aura she had seen in other men in Hollywood.

”See you tomorrow then.” Tim Lang said.

Zhou Yun nodded.

The next day, ’Variety’ announced the lineup for the actor interviews.

The lineup, once released, immediately garnered the attention of everyone in the global film industry.

And Zhou Yun’s name was prominently listed, something many people didn’t expect. Especially since this name has become so popular and frequent recently.

Most of the ’Killing Song’ crew didn’t know Zhou Yun was participating in this event.

They only learned about it after ’Variety’ made the announcement.

Nakajima Hoto happened to be on set, waiting with Zhou Yun for the next scene.

She asked in surprise, ”Xiao Yun, did you take leave earlier to attend this event?”

Zhou Yun nodded and said, ”Yes.”

Nakajima Hoto: ”Wow, that’s amazing, Xiao Yun, you’re really strong.”

Stars appeared in Nakajima Hoto’s eyes.

Zhou Yun gave a small smile and said, ”Just happened to catch the opportunity.”

Being able to participate in such an event in itself represents a kind of recognition—in the mainstream media of Hollywood, Zhou Yun has been one of the most notable and trending actors in the past year, which is why she made it onto this list.

This is also why Nakajima Hoto admires and respects her.

As an Asian actress herself, she understands even more how rare it is to achieve this.

An actor’s success is always inseparable from their work, as well as luck. While many people might think some actors are overrated or their success is due to their environment and platform, we have to acknowledge one thing—success is success.

Whether it’s the environment, opportunities, or anything else, while we might say an actor without these is unknown, the person standing in that place now is them, and nothing else you say will change that.

No matter how Zhou Yun became such a big trend right now—Zhou Yun is indeed the current trend.

Nakajima Hoto also hopes to one day become such an impressive actor. Every actor hopes to.

In the ’Killing Song’ crew, every actor is putting in effort, and there hasn’t been any diva attitudes or uncooperative behavior.

Everyone knows that this film could quite likely be very successful.

And the success of this film would provide all of them with a new career milestone.

This is the empowering effect a blockbuster has on actors.

Everyone is eager to perform their roles well.

Nakajima Hoto, despite her admiration for Zhou Yun, quickly composed herself to prepare for her upcoming scene.

She hadn’t learned martial arts before, and compared to Zhou Yun and Lew Xi, she had a significant gap.

Many of the high difficulty movements, Zhou Yun and Lew Xi could do, but Nakajima Hoto’s ability wasn’t enough to accomplish them.

She didn’t want to be outshone this way, so whenever not filming, she was diligently learning and practicing with the stunt coordinator, giving it everything she had.

Zhou Yun actually quite admired her for this.

Bruised here and there, yet she took it all silently.

Every hardworking person deserves respect.

Zhou Yun always believed this.
