Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1607: Chapter 806: Occurrence (Ten-Thousand-Word Update!)_4

Basically, whoever acts becomes famous.

Zhou Yun was acting with the young girl, captivated by her eyes—they were so beautiful, a clear blue, as clear as a lake.

At one point, she even zoned out.

Tim Lang, puzzled, asked, ”What’s the matter?”

Zhou Yun said, ”Lucy’s eyes are too beautiful; I got lost in them.”

Tim Lang was stunned, never imagining that would be the reason.

Even Lucy Draco blushed with a shy smile.

Zhou Yun really enjoyed acting in this scene.

After the shoot, Lucy Draco finished all her scenes for this film.

Tim Lang gave her a small gift and said, ”See you in the sequel, my little princess.”

Lucy Draco posed for a photo with Tim Lang and Zhou Yun, playfully making a ’yay’ gesture.

After she left, Zhou Yun still had several solo scenes to complete.

At 3 p.m., Nakajima Hoto also arrived.

She had a shot in this scene as well.

When Zhou Yun leaves the café, there will be a close-up of Nakajima Hoto watching her.

Then, the drunk man who was just beaten up by Zhou Yun will notice Nakajima Hoto, approach her, and get slapped to the ground by her again.

This was Tim Lang’s idea.

This scene wasn’t in the original story or script.

Tim Lang added this scene to create a sense of satisfaction by having the man beaten twice, and to highlight a characteristic, leaving a lasting impression on the audience: the women participating in the battle royale are not to be messed with.

The reason for doing this is because traditionally, in such life-and-death games, women have a natural disadvantage in terms of physical strength, and Tim Lang didn’t want everyone to have an obvious bias at the start of the battle royale—that these women can’t compete with the men.

Tim Lang wanted to establish a balance from the beginning where ”no one knows who will prevail over the others.”

Zhou Yun liked Tim Lang’s design.

Nakajima Hoto also liked it.

The only one who didn’t is the celebrity George Hardy, who was invited by Tim Lang to cameo as the drunk man.

George Hardy said helplessly, ”If I had known I was coming here just to get beaten, I wouldn’t have come.”

George Hardy is a good friend of Tim Lang, and they’ve collaborated for many years. This time, Tim Lang invited George Hardy to cameo to make the film’s cast even more impressive.

Tim Lang said, ”George, only when you play such a man, beaten by two beautiful women, will the audience laugh heartily.”

George Hardy was speechless.

Tim Lang introduced Zhou Yun and Nakajima Hoto to George Hardy.

”Hey, beautiful ladies!” George Hardy joked, ”You two hit pretty hard.”

Nakajima Hoto apologized nervously, saying, ”Sorry.”

George Hardy looked at her in surprise, ”Oh, don’t take it so seriously, I’m just joking.”

Zhou Yun had seen many of George Hardy’s movies; he is famous on screen as a ”playboy,” often playing the kind of man who is charming and clever.

Although his screen image is not particularly noble, his personal reputation is impeccable, with no scandals to his name.

Moreover, George Hardy is a very humorous man; he never takes his celebrity status too seriously. There are often reports of him making a fool of himself at events or getting hilariously drunk with friends and sleeping by the roadside.

Zhou Yun had seen many such reports—even someone like her who doesn’t follow gossip news much had seen quite a few, which shows how carefree he is in this regard.

But Zhou Yun liked him very much.

Because he never causes trouble to others, only to himself.

When saying goodbye to Zhou Yun, George Hardy said, ”Dear, I didn’t come here to cameo because of Tim, that old guy. I came for you, I’m a big fan of yours, you know? I’ve basically watched all your movies.”

Zhou Yun was shocked.

”Wow, really?” Zhou Yun said, ”Are only ’Life’ and ’Behind the Scenes’ shown in the United States?”

George Hardy is an American.

He said, ”I’ve seen ’Two tigers,’ ’Four Killers,’ ’Warm Little Horse,’ in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and the United States respectively.”

Zhou Yun looked at George Hardy in astonishment.
