Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1602: Chapter 805: Between Each Other_2

Zhou Yun was very surprised.

In domestic film crews, you can hardly expect extras to deliver such a quality of performance.

It’s the difference in industrial development level.

In this scene, Zhou Yun has just learned she was rejected by her target school, and then evicted from her apartment by the landlord, hitting her lowest point. She walks into this café because she has nowhere else to go and can only stay here for a while.

And it’s in this place that she will rescue a young girl who is being bullied. Because of this young girl, she later gets drawn into this battle royale game.

Tim Lang did not plan to finish filming this scene in just one day.

Today, he only intended to shoot Zhou Yun’s part.

By three in the afternoon, Zhou Yun’s scene was done.

Next, they would film the scene with the young girl being bullied.

Filming would not include Zhou Yun, so there was no arrangement for her to be on set.

Upon knowing this, Zhou Yun proactively suggested that she could stay to support their performance.

Tim Lang said, ”Xiao Yun, are you sure? Since it’s not your scene, you can go back to rest.”

”No worries,” Zhou Yun said, ”I’m comfortable staying here.”

So, Zhou Yun stayed.

The cameras indeed did not focus on Zhou Yun.

The young girl was very pretty and being bullied by a drunk man.

This shot in the movie probably lasts about ten seconds.

There will also be cuts to Zhou Yun’s reaction to witness this — Tim Lang originally planned to film these reactions the following day. Because this shoot might take over two hours, and according to their practice, they wouldn’t keep a celebrity actor on set just for these few seconds of footage.

Zhou Yun sat in her seat, performing with them over and over again.

Not just her, the other actors were equally dedicated. Everyone treated each iteration seriously, without slackening. Since Zhou Yun was not in the shot, she had the time to observe each actor’s performance. Including the few waiters, she noticed that whenever the shot was rolling, they remained in character.

When the camera started, a standard service smile would appear on their faces.

Zhou Yun was very moved.

At 5:42 pm, today’s shoot concluded, wrap.

Tim Lang went to encourage the young girl acting and then walked towards Zhou Yun.

”Your performance today was great.”

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”It’s my first time filming in English; there’s still a lot I need to get used to.”

Tim Lang: ”Your English is very good, it helped us a lot.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”Tim, are we filming this scene again tomorrow?”

”Yes,” Tim Lang said, ”Tomorrow we’ll finish the café segment, there’s another café scene after you’ve completed the battle royale game and return here.”

”Okay.”

”Once completed, we can take down this set and set up others.”

Zhou Yun nodded.

”Good job, Director. I’m heading back,” Zhou Yun said.

Tim Lang: ”Get some good rest.”

On the way back to the hotel, Zhou Yun received a message from Hugh Regman: Hey, Xiao Yun, we’re planning to hit the bar tonight, want to join us?

Zhou Yun wanted to decline, but she already refused once yesterday, and refusing again today seemed impolite, so she thought she’d go but leave early.

She replied with an OK.

Back at the hotel, Zhou Yun went to the restaurant for dinner.

She told Liu Yun about her plans to go out in the evening.

Liu Yun asked, ”Do you need me to go with you?”

”No need,” Zhou Yun said, ”Just arrange a bodyguard to follow me. Bars can be a bit chaotic, better to be safe.”

Liu Yun nodded.

Zhou Lan called again.

”Xiao Yun, are you not filming right now?”

”No, we finished shooting. I’m at the hotel dining for dinner.” Zhou Yun said, ”What’s up, Sister Lan?”

Zhou Lan said, ”Variety magazine wants to invite you to participate in their actor interview event.”

”What?” Zhou Yun was shocked.

She was aware of this event.

Each year, Variety invites some actors to pair up and engage in conversation.

However, this event is usually aimed at popular candidates for Oscar performance awards, why are they suddenly inviting her this year?

Zhou Lan said, ”It’s Mowesen’s side that got you this work opportunity.”
