Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1614: Chapter 808: Berlin Film Festival Reservations (13,000-Word Update)_2

After being cursed out like that, Hugh Redman’s face instantly darkened with anger.

”Let me hear one more swear word out of you and see what happens!” Hugh Redman forced down the fury on his face and threatened.

”I—” There was no way that man was going to back down at a time like this; he was just about to open his mouth again.

Zhou Yun stood up. ”Shut up!”

The argument and threats between the two men were suddenly cut off by Zhou Yun.

Hugh Redman turned his head and said to Zhou Yun, ”Xiao Yun, stand back.”

”You think you’re qualified to play the hero here?” The man suddenly clenched his fist and swung it hard into Hugh Redman’s face.

Hugh Redman was knocked down onto the table.

The wine glasses on the table were sent flying, smashed onto the floor, shattering all over with a crisp cracking sound.

This time Hugh Redman couldn’t hold back any longer; he decisively got to his feet and immediately hit back.

”Hey, Hugh, stop!” Zhou Yun shouted at once. ”Don’t fight him!”

She even tried to rush forward and pull Hugh Redman away.

Chris Pine also rushed up at that moment, blocking himself between the two men.

”Hey, talk it out, don’t use your fists!”

But the man had already been hit hard in retaliation by Hugh Redman; his eyes were red with rage now, and he completely ignored Chris Pine’s and Zhou Yun’s attempts to stop him, charging at Hugh Redman like a mad bull.

Hugh Redman landed another punch squarely on the man’s nose.

The man let out a howl of pain on the spot, clutching his nose with both hands and groaning nonstop.

Zhou Yun saw that many people around them had taken out their phones and were recording.

Nowadays, with everyone owning a smartphone, people are constantly recording whatever happens around them.

A fight like this is exactly the kind of thing that gets filmed and uploaded online at the drop of a hat.

Zhou Yun hurriedly pulled Hugh Redman away.

Chris Pine and Nakajima Hoto hurried to catch up.

Zhou Yun gave her bodyguard a look, signaling him to block that man so he wouldn’t chase after them and keep this going.

They ran into Lew Xi right at the bar entrance.

Seeing the whole group come out with strange expressions, Lew Xi froze for a moment.

Zhou Yun said, ”Let’s talk after we get back.”

Lew Xi could only follow them back to the hotel.

In the car, Hugh Redman’s face was still grim; he stared out the window in a foul mood.

Luckily there was a small first-aid kit in the car, so they could at least give Hugh Redman some basic treatment.

Hugh Redman had taken a punch from that man earlier; now his face was already showing swelling and bruises, with a big welt rising up.

Clearly this was going to affect the upcoming shoot.

At the very least, they wouldn’t be able to film for the next few days.

But that wasn’t what Zhou Yun was most worried about right now.

Hugh Redman wasn’t some nobody; he was a well-known actor in the United States.

Here in Australia, he might not be that famous. But if the people who filmed the video tonight upload it online, someone is bound to recognize him.

A Celebrity artist getting into a fight—no matter whether it’s in China or abroad—is never a good thing for a Celebrity artist. Public opinion is very negative and it damages the Celebrity artist’s public image.

Zhou Yun thought for a moment and said, ”We should tell Mr. Brillanch about this, and Hugh, you should also notify your agency as soon as possible, so they can prevent any negative buzz about you if this incident hits the internet.”

Lew Xi still didn’t know what had happened and looked at them in confusion.

Nakajima Hoto said, ”Yeah, Hugh, you just got into a fight, and a lot of people filmed it.”

Hugh Redman said nothing.

He kept staring out the window, lost in thought.

When they arrived at the hotel, Hugh Redman got out of the car on his own and walked off without looking back.

Zhou Yun and the others called after him, but he didn’t stop; his steps were quick.

”What’s up with him? Why is he this mad?” Lew Xi finally asked at this point.

The group sat down in the café downstairs at the hotel and told Lew Xi what had just happened in the bar.

Lew Xi said in surprise, ”He got into a fight? And people filmed it?”

”Yeah.” Nakajima Hoto’s face was full of worry. ”I’m really afraid this will have a bad impact on Hugh.”

”What’s Hugh thinking?” Lew Xi asked. ”He seemed really upset just now and wouldn’t talk to us.”

Chris Pine said, ”I’ll go find him and talk. You guys go back and rest.”

Zhou Yun and the others had no choice but to head back first.
