Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1634: Chapter 810: Conversation and Return (4,000-Word Update)

Sedar herself is very slim, with a tall and sexy figure, the kind that even makes Zhou Yun a bit envious.

Zhou Yun’s gaze continuously fixated on Sedar’s body.

So much so that Sedar paused for a moment and asked, ”Is something wrong with me?”

Zhou Yun withdrew her gaze, shook her head, and said, ”Ah, no, not at all.”

She smiled somewhat awkwardly, saying, ”Your figure is amazing, I couldn’t help but gaze.”

She covered her own face with one hand.

Sedar instinctively froze for a moment and said, ”Oh, sorry, I like men... Ah, you like men too.”

Zhou Yun was utterly embarrassed.

Sedar burst out laughing immediately.

”Alright, I misunderstood,” she said. ”Clearly, we were just talking about Song Chi, and suddenly the conversation took such an odd turn.”

Zhou Yun barely managed to ease her own awkwardness and waved her hand, saying, ”Let’s just say your figure is so good that even as a woman, I’m quite attracted.”

Sedar nodded.

”Thank you, believe me, you are too.”

Mutual compliments.

Zhou Yun asked, ”Did Song Chi find a movie for you?”

Sedar said, ”A disaster movie, actually I’ve never shot a Chinese film before. He showed me a clip from a movie they’ve already finished called ’Jiangyun Platform’, and I was blown away. For a long time, I believed only Hollywood could create such special effects, but ’Jiangyun Platform’ did an excellent job. He told me there are many fans in China who like me, and if I could join a Chinese movie production, my fans would be thrilled, so I agreed.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”What about the movie you want to make, did he not agree?”

Sedar shook her head helplessly, ”He told me he’s got about 10 projects waiting for him to shoot, and it’s very hard to coordinate the time. I thought about it and decided to let it go. It’s okay, I’ve started looking for other actors.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yun’s eyes lit up and she said, ”Then let me recommend a few actors to you. I’m very familiar with Chinese male actors.”

Sedar: ”Great.”

Zhou Yun: ”I’ll talk to you about it after this recording.”

Sedar smiled and nodded. She said, ”Actually, I’ve always wanted to talk to you about ’Killing Song’. I’m very curious why you took on this movie? After all, you know, before taking this movie, you mostly starred in artistic films like ’Life’ and ’Behind the Scenes’ and rarely in such large-scale commercial films. I thought you wouldn’t act in commercial films.”

Zhou Yun shook her head, saying, ”Honestly, when I choose film projects, I don’t judge them based on whether they’re artistic films or commercial films.”

”Hmm, but many actors actually don’t want to act in commercial films.”

”I understand, everyone has their own choices and thoughts, but I must say, I’m actually a loyal fan of commercial films,” Zhou Yun said. ”I love watching commercial films. If the film is well-made and creative, like your earlier ’Divine Artifact’ series, I particularly liked the first two movies. I think I’ve watched them several times. You created a fresh film style; clearly, it’s a big production, commercial-themed, but the pacing is managed like a piano piece, with varying intensities and changes. When watching in the theater, I felt like I was breathing along with the movie.”

The ’Divine Artifact’ series is Sedar’s globally popular breakthrough work.

Sedar: ”Thank you.”

She said, ”Back then, when choosing actors for this film, many actors were competing for the role, but some actors also looked down on starring in such commercial blockbusters.”

”I respect those actors a lot, but I hope they’re doing so because of their persistence with the type of films they love, not out of exclusion,” Zhou Yun said. ”I feel as an actor, I want to present various different character images and shoot a variety of films, not always stay in one habitual field. I previously worked with a great comedian from our country, Shen Yao, on a comedy film, which is actually my only comedy film. I found it incredibly fun to act in; I never performed in a comedy before and didn’t know how to act, but during those days filming on set, I faced new challenges and unknowns every day. Each time after acting, I would review and see some parts obviously mismatched with the film style. While shooting this movie, I viewed my performance from a completely novel angle — I don’t know if you agree, but I believe an actor’s performance style and rhythm must serve the entire film.”
