Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1606: Chapter 806: Occurrence (Ten Thousand-Word Update!)

No one expected such a thing to happen, nor did anyone want to see it.

However, Zhou Yun did not plan to stay out of it. Hugh Redman got into a conflict with that man to protect them. The conflict initially started between them and that man.

Zhou Yun thought that if many people ended up accusing Hugh Redman of using violence, she must stand up and clarify the situation.

Therefore, she explained the ins and outs of the incident to Zhou Lan and informed her in advance that she would need to coordinate on public relations when the time came.

Uncharacteristically, Zhou Lan did not stop her—usually, in matters like this, Zhou Lan always advised Zhou Yun not to get involved and to stay out of it, as being cautious is the safest approach.

On the third day of filming, according to the original shooting schedule, Hugh Redman was not supposed to be filming, but other actors were in the B unit shooting some transition scenes directed by the assistant director.

Zhou Yun saw Tim Lang on the set.

Tim Lang asked, ”Xiao Yun, have you heard about what happened to Hugh Redman?”

Zhou Yun replied, ”Tim, I was there on the scene last night when the incident with Hugh Redman occurred.”

”Oh,” Tim Lang nodded and said, ”So you were there, what exactly happened with Hugh?”

As the male lead with the most significant part in this movie, his every move also impacted the film.

Zhou Yun then explained the details of what happened to Tim Lang.

”Oh, so he stepped in to deal with that kid for you guys,” Tim Lang said. ”If that’s the case, why are you worried about that person blowing things out of proportion? It’s not really Hugh’s fault.”

”Yes, if Hugh hadn’t stepped in to protect me and Nakajima Hoto, we would have been bullied by that man,” Zhou Yun emphasized. ”Hugh got injured on his face and might need a few days to recuperate. If it affects the shooting schedule, we can pull my scenes forward to shoot first. I’m fully cooperative on my end.”

Tim Lang waved his hand and said, ”His injury might take ten days to half a month to fully heal, so we’ve decided to change the script.”

”Huh?” Zhou Yun asked in surprise, ”How will it change?”

”Once his face is healed, we’ll add a scene where, when he first meets you in the lobby, he flirts, and you punch him,” Tim Lang explained. ”This way, his injured face won’t seem out of place later.”

”Oh,” Zhou Yun was taken aback, ”Is that so? So, he’ll appear with that look throughout the whole movie?”

Tim Lang nodded, ”That’s the only way. Otherwise, we can’t wait that long.”

Zhou Yun felt a bit helpless, but from the perspective of filming, this was indeed the only adjustment possible.

Today’s filming was focused, still the café scene.

The bullied little girl was named Lucy Draco; she looked exquisite, and one could imagine how beautiful she would be in a few years.

Such a pretty little girl, her acting was very compelling, completely unlike a young actress.

Once again, Zhou Yun marveled at Hollywood’s strong regenerative ability.

Any actor pulled from there generally has solid performance skills.

She talked with many people and learned that they actually have acting clubs in their communities and schools.

They have plenty of acting opportunities while in school—not just performing at school events.

Sometimes, on weekends, they would write a play to perform for classmates or neighborhood people.

Zhou Yun realized that their ability to continuously supply so many actors was related to this nurturing environment.

She had only this one scene with Lucy Draco.

Lucy Draco was bullied, and Zhou Yun stood up to protect Lucy Draco, and this action made people behind Lucy Draco feel she had intricate ties with the mysterious girl, thus trapping her into the survival game through a setup.

In fact, Lucy Draco would have a very important role in the sequel.

This was already clearly written in the original novel.

In the first installment, she was merely the catalyst for Zhou Yun entering the survival game, so her scenes were few.

In reality, among many original fans, the character played by Lucy Draco was very popular.
