Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1397: Chapter 725: Venice International Film Festival_2

When she returned to the main group, she heard Yao Yuanfeng say to the person next to him, ”If only Yin Linglin could focus all her efforts on acting.”

Zhou Yun listened and smiled slightly.

This kind of thing, Yao Yuanfeng naturally had seen many times.

He could instantly see what Yin Linglin’s purpose was in sticking to Zhou Yun just now.

It was simply because everyone was photographing Zhou Yun, and Yin Linglin knew that if she stayed by Zhou Yun’s side, she would also be captured in the photos.

Zhou Yun said to Yao Yuanfeng, ”President Yao, since you know everything, why didn’t you help me block her a bit?”

Yao Yuanfeng was suddenly startled to hear Zhou Yun speaking behind him on the red carpet, he turned around and laughed, saying, ”Such a small issue, why would you need me to help block it? Didn’t you easily manage to shake her off?”

Zhou Yun chuckled lightly, ”Are you hoping for a red carpet rivalry between Yin Linglin and me to help the film gain attention?”

Yao Yuanfeng: ”How could that be.”

No matter what he thought in his heart, he certainly wouldn’t admit it.

Zhou Yun didn’t bother to pursue it further with him, finished the red carpet, and entered the venue.

After a while, Clint Bruster also appeared in the venue.

His appearance attracted everyone’s attention.

Clint Bruster is the most influential figure at the Venice International Film Festival, and any producer, director, or actor would want to befriend him.

If one could earn his favor, a newcomer could quickly become a globally recognized cinema person.

He stands at the pinnacle of the art cinema pyramid.

Clint Bruster immediately headed towards Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun was chatting with the lead writer of a film magazine, whom she had known for a long time.

Clint Bruster’s sudden appearance made Zhou Yun widen her eyes in surprise.

”Hi, Mr. Bruster, you actually came! What a surprise.” Zhou Yun immediately hugged Clint Bruster, exchanging cheek kisses.

Clint Bruster said, ”Your film is premiering at our festival, of course, I must come, and in the future, you must bring more of your films to our Venice International Film Festival.”

Zhou Yun smiled and nodded, agreeing.

Clint Bruster: ”I heard you’re leaving tomorrow? Why not stay a few more days?”

Zhou Yun said, ”I’m very sorry, but I have another film shooting in China, and it took a lot of effort to coordinate the time to attend this festival, the schedule is tight. If I had the time, I would love to watch every film here.”

Clint Bruster said, ”That’s really unfortunate. If you had time, we could have had a meal together, but unfortunately, I have several engagements this evening.”

Zhou Yun said, ”That’s okay, we will have many opportunities in the future. When you come to China, do email me in advance. I must host you properly.”

”Alright.”

Zhou Yun saw Yao Yuanfeng and others around them.

Zhou Yun then introduced Yao Yuanfeng to Clint Bruster: ”Mr. Bruster, this is Yao Yuanfeng, the producer of our film, and the owner of New Shield, one of the largest film companies in China.”

Clint Bruster very politely shook hands with Yao Yuanfeng: ”Hello, Mr. Yao.”

Clint Bruster did not know Yao Yuanfeng beforehand.

Yao Yuanfeng had always been doing commercial films, so he had never connected with the art directors of these festivals before.

At most, he came here to sell films, but he never interacted with him.

Yao Yuanfeng exchanged greetings and introduced himself to Clint Bruster.

Zhou Yun further introduced the director and other actors to Clint Bruster, and after some pleasantries, the film screening was about to begin.

Four Killers is a film with a very distinctive personal style, exceptionally exquisite, and with beautiful visuals.

The story begins on a night of pouring rain.

The cinematography is stunning.

Zhou Yun sat in the audience, watching the film attentively.

When Hou Mengjie initially shot this film, every shot was designed beforehand.

The officially screened version now gives a feeling of extreme refinement.

A martial arts film with an intricate beauty.

Zhou Yun was a bit at a loss for words to describe her feelings, the merits of the film were very evident, it was highly complete, meticulous and exceptionally beautiful, but Zhou Yun felt that the film lacked something that could truly reach her emotionally.
