Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1382: Chapter 717: Hidden Mountain Scholar (Part 3)

Mo Conglan nodded.

”I still feel like it’s unreal. I didn’t expect you to really act in this movie.”

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”Mr. Yuh appreciates you a lot, which is why he asked us to help. I hope I can be of assistance. I haven’t seen a martial arts movie in a few years; it’s rare to be able to act in one.”

Mo Conglan said, ”Many people have told me that martial arts movies don’t sell anymore.”

Zhou Yun: ”Don’t listen to them. In today’s market, nothing is certain, but there’s a fundamental rule: as long as it’s a good movie, we have a large enough market to let it ferment.”

Mo Conglan: ”That’s what President Yuh told me as well.”

”See, that’s enough.” Zhou Yun laughed.

Mo Conglan said, ”Xiao Yun, I’m not a professional when it comes to acting, so I might not be able to provide truly professional advice. I can only tell you how I feel.”

”I understand, don’t worry. Just tell me the feeling you want, and let me know where you think I’m not matching that feeling,” Zhou Yun said. ”Though the role isn’t big, I believe I can be an incredibly classic character image.”

Mo Conglan laughed and agreed.

Zhou Yun secretly joined the ”Hidden Mountain Scholar” crew, and this news wasn’t exposed.

No one knew Zhou Yun secretly took on this role.

During filming, Zhou Yun acted very comfortably.

Mo Conglan is not the kind of director who pretends to understand and bothers people; he is very sincere and shares openly with Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun also very much cooperated with the arrangements of the crew. Later, the shooting exceeded the schedule by two days because Zhou Yun actively suggested there was no need to rush. If extra shooting was needed, she was agreeable.

After all, filming for ”Moon Sinking at Sea” was moved to August.

She had plenty of time in July.

Guest-starring in ”Hidden Mountain Scholar” provided Zhou Yun with a new acting experience.

She did not set a very detailed backstory for the brothel owner, focusing instead on the acting state and details, giving a performance rooted in mood.

Zhou Yun didn’t know how this style of acting would look on screen, but she had a great time performing on the spot.

On the day she wrapped up, Yuh Huaijiang specially invited her to a meal to express his thanks.

Zhou Yun coming to guest-star in a movie was a stroke of luck for the film, and for the producer, it could even be considered a favor in more vulgar terms.

Looking at Zhou Yun’s career over the years, she’s only guest-starred in this one film.

Yuh Huaijiang thanked Zhou Yun with particular sincerity and told her, ”If there’s anything I can help with in the future, just say the word.”

Zhou Yun: ”President Yuh, no need to be so polite. I’m also a cinema person; you’ve supported so many newcomers, providing opportunities to talented and capable people. If I can help you, I’m happy to do so.”

Yuh Huaijiang was particularly pleased to hear Zhou Yun say this.

After leaving the ”Hidden Mountain Scholar” crew, Zhou Yun went directly to Zhejiang.

She was heading to the ”Moon Sinking at Sea” crew.

Song Chi had already gone ahead, and this production had officially started filming, beginning with scenes of other actors.

The day Zhou Yun arrived, a downpour suddenly began.

Even more unfortunately, the car broke down halfway.

With no other options, Zhou Yun had to sit in the car waiting for someone to pick her up.

This was a national road with lots of traffic passing by.

Sitting in the car, Zhou Yun checked her phone, accompanied by the sound of rain, like boiling water.

Suddenly, in the midst of the rain, she heard the unexpected sound of a heated argument.

This surprised her, and she looked up towards the window.

Just a few meters away, stood a young couple under an umbrella, with a hazard-light flashing car parked beside them.

For some reason, despite the rainy weather, the young couple had gotten out of the car and were arguing by the roadside.

Seeing their furious expressions, Zhou Yun wondered why, even while arguing, they couldn’t just do so inside the car.

Why insist on standing outside, arguing exposed to the wind and rain?

People naturally have a tendency to be curious, watching drama unfold, and seeing the couple arguing, Zhou Yun put down her phone and curiously watched them through the car window.

After arguing for a while, Zhou Yun vaguely heard them say things like ”We’ll just break up” and ”I hate you.”

She listened with great interest, mainly surprised by the drama unfolding during her transit.

Then, the man suddenly turned and got back into the car, driving away.

The woman stood by the roadside, cursing at the departing car until she finally ran out of energy and stopped.

She stood by the road, felt her pocket, then suddenly looked shocked as if she’d lost something.
