Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1355: Chapter 708: Song Shuheng’s Invitation_3

In the evening, Zhou Lan sent her a message, telling her that a French entertainment media outlet had released her photos taken on the hotel balcony, and only then did Zhou Yun realize that person was really a paparazzo.

Zhou Lan said, ”You’re truly becoming famous internationally now, even the French paparazzi have started to photograph you.”

Zhou Yun said, ”I’m also very surprised, am I already famous enough in France for paparazzi to take pictures of me?”

Zhou Lan said, ”Mainly because ’Life’ and ’Behind the Scenes’ are very popular in France with lots of fans. Don’t forget, these two films are genuine art films, precisely the kind that the French love.”

Zhou Yun: ”I miscalculated. I thought no one would recognize me here, that I could sunbathe on the balcony.”

”You’re sunbathing? Did you forget you need to whiten? Remember, you still have to shoot ’Moon Sinking at Sea’! You’re playing a spy.” Zhou Lan reminded her, ”The role you’re playing is that of a stunning beauty.”

In the script, Zhou Yun’s role is a stunning beauty.

Zhou Yun: ”The sunlight today isn’t strong, and it wasn’t shining directly. I applied sunscreen, don’t worry. I’ll go for a whitening treatment tomorrow.”

Zhou Lan said, ”You better. Don’t get lazy.”

Zhou Yun: ”I won’t.”

”I’ll have Zheng Xiaojue keep an eye on you,” Zhou Lan said.

”No, no, no, I’ve just given them a holiday. Don’t assign her any work. I’ll go, I promise you.”

”You promised, remember. Don’t trick me again,” Zhou Lan said helplessly.

The key is that Zhou Yun has a history of this kind of behavior.

When it comes to less critical matters, Zhou Yun is prone to laziness.

Zhou Yun lightly hummed and said, ”Sister Lan, how can you not trust me?”

Zhou Lan was too lazy to argue much with her.

Zhou Yun often used this way to change the subject.

”Because you also promised Yuh Huaijiang to take a cameo role in a movie, I communicated with Chen Wenjun, and for ’Moon Sinking at Sea’, you will join the crew a little later, not attending the opening with them,” Zhou Lan said, ”With more free time, the two crews won’t clash, and it’ll be easier for you.”

This suited Zhou Yun the best.

”That’s the best,” Zhou Yun said, ”But you say it’s a cameo, why haven’t I received the script yet?”

Zhou Lan said, ”Because the script is confidential and you’re abroad, I haven’t found anyone to bring it to you. Wait until you return. The role isn’t long, but it has a lot of acting room. I think you’ll like it.”

Hearing Zhou Lan say this made Zhou Yun even more curious.

Zhou Lan added, ”Oh, and Director Song Shuheng sent over a script, wanting to invite you to act in it. I also have it here, waiting to show you when you get back.”

Zhou Yun’s eyes lit up, saying, ”Is it the same Song Shuheng who made ’Dusk’?”

”Yes,” Zhou Lan said, ”He’s skilled in making this kind of everyday life drama. His past several works are of this genre. The new script is also like that, telling the story of a workplace dilemma, a realism theme. I have to be honest, I think the final box office for this movie might not be high, but Director Song’s films never have high box office returns, everyone in the industry knows that.”

Zhou Yun said, ”I really liked his ’Dusk’. When will this movie be shooting?”

Zhou Lan said, ”Director Song said if you want to shoot, he’ll wait for you. Next year, the year after, anytime.”

Hearing Zhou Lan say this, Zhou Yun was immediately moved.

”He’s so sincere!”

Zhou Lan laughed, ”Yeah, but he’s also very prolific. His creative energy is too strong. I’ve heard he just finished filming one movie and is planning to start shooting a youth growth-themed movie in the second half of the year.”

Zhou Yun was extremely amazed.

Someone like Wen Bing, who has made three films in just over two years since debuting, already has a vigorous creative desire, but Song Shuheng was even more astonishing.

Zhou Lan said, ”He also wants to meet you in person to talk about the script.”

”Okay,” Zhou Yun said, ”Let’s meet after I return then.”

”Sure,” Zhou Lan said, ”I’ll arrange the time.”

Song Shuheng is actually a director whose personal style isn’t very pronounced. At first glance, his films seem very plain, as if anyone could make them.

But the most impressive thing about his films is their ability to suddenly poke at your heart in very subtle details, leaving you stunned.

With lasting impact.

Zhou Yun was getting a bit impatient to meet with Song Shuheng.

And she had just wrapped up filming yesterday.

Today, she was still marveling at how vacationing without filming is a true vacation.

Zhou Yun, realizing this, found her eagerness amusing.

After all this, she just realized she’s a workaholic who can’t relax.

Zhou Yun actually knows she’s a person who truly doesn’t want to miss out on opportunities.

Afraid of missing out and regretting it.
