Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1399: Chapter 726: Clearing Up the Misunderstanding

Zhou Yun and Song Chi had no idea their actions had caused such a big impact.

Actually, neither of them are the type to really care about changes around them.

They both maintain a kind of dullness towards changes around them, not overthinking it.

While filming ”Moon Sinking at Sea”, due to many emotionally intense scenes, Zhou Yun and Song Chi are so exhausted each day that they don’t want to talk.

When they go to a restaurant to eat together, they’re mostly silent.

Who knew this would be captured on camera repeatedly, with people saying: Why do I feel Zhou Yun and Song Chi are somewhat putting up a front while actually distant? Sitting together to eat, yet ignoring each other, expressionless, totally unlike a couple dining together.

This statement gained a lot of agreement.

What’s more, the content of the photos and videos seemed to confirm this statement.

Many people thought these comments were spot-on.

Even fans of Song Chi and Zhou Yun were puzzled, wondering if they were really having issues.

If it’s merely a simple tiff, why are there several photos and videos of them eating where they remain silent for extended periods, just focused on eating?

For a couple, this indeed seems quite strange.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi found themselves amused and helpless upon learning about the online doubts regarding their potential breakup.

Zhou Yun posted a response on Weibo: If I said, after filming every day, we’re too tired to speak and show no expressions, would you believe me?

She posted the Weibo with a slightly teasing tone, but many marketing accounts expressed disbelief.

Zhou Yun was helpless, thinking, if you don’t believe it, there’s nothing I can do.

Song Chi said, ”Forget it, explaining to online marketing accounts is pointless. You’ve responded, so the fans won’t worry, that’s enough.”

”Okay.” Zhou Yun nodded.

However, these online rumors also affected the crew members.

Initially, they really believed it, thinking Zhou Yun and Song Chi had some sort of dispute.

When both were present, there were always some odd, speculative glances directed at them.

”I think everyone really believes we’re having issues.” Zhou Yun helplessly said to Song Chi.

Song Chi: ”Marketing accounts are quite harmful.”

Zhou Yun laughed.

Suddenly, Song Chi lowered his head and gave Zhou Yun a quick kiss on the lips in front of everyone.

With a smile in his eyes, he said, ”Now people shouldn’t misunderstand.”

Zhou Yun was taken aback by this unexpected kiss, stunned for a while.

She still felt a little embarrassed to do such intimate acts in front of others.

”What are you doing?”

Song Chi said seriously, ”Clarifying misunderstandings.”

Zhou Yun rolled her eyes at Song Chi speechlessly.

But Song Chi’s approach was indeed effective; soon, online rumors about Song Chi and Zhou Yun being sweet on the set surfaced, dispelling rumors of their relationship problems.

The previous personal response from Zhou Yun didn’t have much effect, but these rumors managed to dispel the notion of relationship issues.

Their fans were all relieved: I knew they definitely weren’t having issues!

Zhou Yun looked on, speechless, wanting to retort, ”When did you ’know’ it?”

Nonetheless, filming with Song Chi was indeed great.

The two spent a lot of time together, unlike before when they only interacted via video calls.

Though they are in separate rooms, almost every day, they would spend several hours together in one room.
