Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1353: Chapter 708: Song Shuheng’s Invitation

What exactly is the standard for a good actress?

Zhou Yun had been pondering this question.

In a few years in the industry, she was so fortunate and yet so hardworking, she was filled with piety and awe towards acting, but at the same time, she was bold enough to try any innovation.

She had never thought of a fixed answer.

However, Zhou Yun knew at least one thing for sure.

That is, no matter when, she must go all out.

After hearing Wen Bing’s shout of ”Action!”, Zhou Yun leaped from the tall building.

Behind her, the assassin in pursuit let out an angry roar.

Zhou Yun’s body was already against the glass wall, sliding down rapidly, but upon hearing this angry roar, she instinctively lifted her head and glanced at the rooftop.

This glance was outside of the design.

The fierce wind whipped past her cheeks.

Zhou Yun’s indifferent glance made her appear extraordinarily calm, treating the current danger as nothing.

The aerial camera was following her at high speed.

Zhou Yun reached the designated spot.

It was a platform about one meter wide.

She tried to use her own strength to slow the momentum so she could stand steadily, but the immense gravity and impact inevitably tilted her forward.

This was within the script’s design, to highlight the thrill of this scene.

Zhou Yun ultimately couldn’t control her body and fell off the platform.

It wasn’t until this moment that everyone on the rooftop let out a gasp.

Because this wasn’t part of the previous design.

According to the design, Zhou Yun was supposed to teeter on the edge several times before stabilizing herself by grabbing an extending corner.

Wen Bing was so alarmed that he stood up directly from his chair.

At that moment, they all forgot that Zhou Yun was still tied to a safety rope.

At that moment, the assistant director suddenly exclaimed again.

”Director Wen, look!”

Wen Bing looked at the monitor.

At the edge of the platform, a hand was grasping onto it.

Soon, another hand appeared.

Zhou Yun deftly pushed herself up from under the platform, raised her right leg, and flipped herself back up.

She struck the specially treated glass exterior wall with her elbow, then kicked it, shattering the glass.

Without hesitation, Zhou Yun jumped straight in.

Wen Bing excitedly removed his headset.

”Cut!”

Applause thundered through the venue.

Wen Bing immediately ran downstairs to meet Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun stood in the crowd, tending to the scratches on her arm from earlier.

Wen Bing approached nervously, ”Are you hurt?”

Zhou Yun looked up at Wen Bing, smiled, and said, ”It’s nothing, just some friction scratches on the arm, no other injuries.”

Hearing this, Wen Bing finally breathed a sigh of relief.

”That’s good, it gave me a fright,” Wen Bing said. ”When I saw you fall, I was stunned.”

”I was shocked too. I instinctively reached for the edge of the platform, otherwise—” Zhou Yun suddenly realized, ”there wasn’t really an ’otherwise,’ at most we would redo the shot, I was still tied to the safety rope.”

The two went together to review the footage just shot.

”How is it?” Zhou Yun asked, ”Do you need another take?”

Wen Bing said, ”It’s perfect, no need for another take.”

Zhou Yun: ”That’s good, then am I done here, officially wrapped?”

Wen Bing smiled and nodded, ”Congratulations, you’re wrapped!”

He opened his arms and warmly embraced Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun smiled and exhaled with relief.

”Finally finished,” she said. ”Our third collaboration has come to a successful end, looking forward to our fourth.”

Wen Bing nodded.

”It will happen soon.”

At least for the second part of ”Two Tigers,” Zhou Yun and Wen Bing would collaborate again.

Zhou Yun whispered in Wen Bing’s ear, ”The ’Two Tigers’ series, although a box-office hit, your talent far exceeds this type of action film. I look forward to collaborating with you on more genres. I always have time reserved for you, just call on me.”

Wen Bing patted Zhou Yun on the back.

”That’s enough for me,” Wen Bing nodded to Zhou Yun.

With this scene finished, Zhou Yun could leave.

The crew wasn’t quite done yet, Wen Bing still needed to shoot some empty scenes.

Zeng Yeng organized a magnificent wrap party for Zhou Yun, also providing a chance for everyone to rest.

With Zhou Yun’s wrap, the filming of this movie had entered its final stage.
