Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 366: Chapter 314: Rising Season: 150

Wei Heyun still came.

He didn’t care at all whether Zhou Yun really didn’t want to see him or not, with full confidence of ”I don’t believe you really don’t want to see me”, he arrived empty-handed, wearing a pair of sunglasses.

”Where are you? I’m at the airport.”

On the phone, his attitude was as indifferent as always.

Zhou Yun took a sharp breath and cursed: ”Lunatic.”

”...What?”

”Sigh, never mind, can’t be bothered to explain, just take a taxi here.” Zhou Yun gave the address.

An hour later, Zhou Yun met Wei Heyun at the hotel’s café.

The two of them, wearing sunglasses, sat in the café staring at each other, neither removing their sunglasses, like two pretentious nutcases.

”You tell me, can you not understand human language? I’ve already said I’m on vacation, yet you still have to come and bother me.” Zhou Yun was not pleased.

Really, she was quite familiar with Wei Heyun now, her tone was not so polite anymore.

Wei Heyun retorted, ”Aren’t we friends? It’s when I’m the most agitated right now, and you’re just adding fuel to the fire!”

This guy really had the audacity to blame others while standing his ground.

Unflinchingly.

Zhou Yun really wanted to learn that skill.

”Alright, alright, just get to the point, why exactly did your family ground you?” Zhou Yun asked.

Wei Heyun’s expression seamlessly switched to speechless and irritable, his hands clasped on the table, leaning forward, posing as if he was ready to pour out his troubles.

”You tell me, to chase a girl, I have to give gifts, ask her out for a meal or something, right?” he asked.

Zhou Yun frowned in confusion, hesitated for a moment, and said, ”Sounds about right.”

But she really didn’t know what sort of spectacle Wei Heyun could turn it into.

Wei Heyun continued, ”See, you also think so, but my family commander blasted me out, and even grounded me. It’s just a generation gap.”

”Hold on, first tell me what happened exactly, what gift did you give? Who did you ask out for a meal? Yu Sitian? Did she go out to eat with you?”

”She didn’t go out to eat with me,” Wei Heyun said irritably, ”I just invited the whole cast to have a meal at her filming site.”

”The whole cast?”

”Yep.” Wei Heyun raised an eyebrow, ”What’s wrong? She didn’t want to have a meal with me, so I had to block her at the film set, what else could I do? As a result, that director actually complained to my old man, talk about being petty, it was just a slight delay for them, right?”

Zhou Yun: ”... So you went to their film set and arranged a banquet without seeking their consent in advance?”

Wei Heyun explained, ”Isn’t it supposed to be a surprise? They were about to shoot a banquet scene, so I thought it was perfect. I hid among the extras, and to give her a surprise, I even prepared a drone to fly a love confession banner outside the window.”

Zhou Yun took a sharp breath.

Even though she thought Wei Heyun was a bit crazy, she had never imagined he could go this far.

And still with a face full of righteousness, feeling he’d done nothing wrong.

Zhou Yun sincerely asked, ”Wei Heyun, tell me the truth, do you really think you did nothing wrong?”

Wei Heyun squeezed his eyebrows impatiently and said, ”Alright, I know I indeed delayed their shooting, but I compensated them, didn’t I? I paid for their rental of the banquet hall, saved them a bunch on location fees.”

Zhou Yun: ”Don’t you think you brought Yu Sitian an embarrassment that can’t be fixed?”

”Embarrassment?” Wei Heyun frowned, seeming to not understand the word.

Zhou Yun said, ”Do you know how many girls fear being proposed to in public?”

Wei Heyun replied, ”Isn’t that romantic?”

”Romantic my ass! What if people around start egging on, to accept or not to accept? If she doesn’t accept, it hurts the boy’s pride, and if she does, she’s compromising herself.”

”...” Wei Heyun glared at Zhou Yun angrily.

”So you’re saying I did wrong on this?”

Zhou Yun hesitated for a moment, but finally spoke the truth, nodding, ”I suggest you don’t do this in the future.”

Wei Heyun: ”Boring, I thought talking to you would be fun, didn’t expect you to be such a drag too!”

He got up and left.

Zhou Yun was shocked.

”Wei Heyun!”

Wei Heyun motioned as if to say don’t bother him, and walked away with big strides.

What a temper.
