Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 357: Chapter 311: On the Rise: 147_2

Several people were around, but Yu Zhiyang, either because of a reclusive and silent nature or something else, stayed alone in a corner to prepare without interacting with anyone.

Zhou Lan sighed and said, ”That explains it.”

”Actually, it’s a pity, this kid has quite a bit of potential,” Zhang Guodong said. ”Although he’s not formally trained, he can act, he has that talent, and his explosive power is strong.”

Hearing Zhang Guodong say this, Zhou Lan was somewhat surprised, ”How old is he?”

”Nineteen,” Zhang Guodong replied. ”What, Sister Lan, are you interested in signing him?”

”If signing him were possible, I’d like to have a talk with him. But from what you’ve just said, his boss seems to have other schemes in mind for him; it probably won’t be that easy,” Zhou Lan said. ”And who knows what kind of indenture contract he signed, the penalty for breaking it must be hefty.”

Zhou Yun didn’t know what she was thinking inside, but there was a moment when she did ponder over whether there was any way she could offer him help.

She felt a secretive shame for the ”consensual” she had mentioned earlier.

During the advertisement shooting process, Zhou Yun did not have any scenes with Yu Zhiyang in the beginning.

The content mainly focused on filming Zhou Yun working and laughing in various settings.

Yu Zhiyang stood aside, secretly taking pictures of these moments with a camera.

It wasn’t until the final scene that the two of them had a real interaction.

Zhou Yun, because of a work matter, hurried to Yu Zhiyang’s workstation to find a document and coincidentally stumbled upon the photos that Yu Zhiyang had developed.

The photos captured candid moments of Zhou Yun,

Either deep in thought or laughing heartily.

According to the plot, Zhou Yun falls into surprise and confusion at these photos, and when she turns around, she sees Yu Zhiyang holding a camera, looking at her puzzled, not understanding why she was at his workstation.

Yu Zhiyang’s gaze lowered to the photos in Zhou Yun’s hands, and a flash of panic passed across his face.

And on Zhou Yun’s face emerged a hint of sudden realization.

At this moment, she understood that this man had always been secretly fond of her.

She revealed a tender smile.

Yu Zhiyang’s awkwardness faded slowly as he saw her smile.

Looking at Zhou Yun’s smile, he also felt a bit bashful and began to laugh.

The glances of the two met, forming a gentle and beautiful snapshot within their smiles.

Zhang Guodong called out Cut.

”Very good, the eye contact was spot on,” he generously praised.

Zhou Yun wasn’t sure if it was really that good and went to review the footage they had just shot, finding it indeed well captured.

From the screen, even Zhou Yun wanted to say, she and Yu Zhiyang standing together had a strong couple vibe.

This feeling surprised Zhou Yun. When she acted with Li Ci, even though Li Ci was also handsome, she never got this feeling.

Looking carefully again, Zhou Yun noticed something special.

Yu Zhiyang’s gaze was particularly sincere.

This sincerity was not the kind that made one seem overly simple and honest, but rather conveyed a sense of deep genuineness.

Zhou Lan also stood beside Zhou Yun, taking a thoughtful look at Yu Zhiyang after watching.

After wrapping up, Zhang Guodong politely asked if they wanted to have dinner together that night.

Zhou Yun naturally declined.

On the way back, Zhou Yun and Zhou Lan both remained silent, each engrossed in their thoughts.

About ten minutes later, Zhou Lan spoke up, ”Yu Zhiyang’s persona is the most unique I’ve seen among male actors in the entertainment industry over the past few years.”

It’s hard to say what was so special.

It’s just that he had that authentic youthful quality about him.

Not a sophistication made up with makeup, and his skin wasn’t porcelain-like, white, and smooth.

His eyes were silent yet sharp; if he were to be described by an animal that captured the feeling he gave, it would be an eagle.

Zhou Yun said, ”Sister Lan, can you ask Luo Hengzhang who recommended him?”

Zhou Lan hummed in acknowledgment.

Zhou Yun added, ”Do you think, if we finally choose Yu Zhiyang for our film, his boss won’t cause any trouble?”

Zhou Lan sighed and said, ”I’m worried about this too. If what Zhang Guodong said today is true, then his boss probably wouldn’t want to see him become successful, otherwise, the boss would lose control over him.”
