Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 360: Chapter 312: Rising Phase: 148_2

”Ah?” Zhou Yun showed a look of surprise.

Zhou Lan said, ”I know you’re surprised, I’m surprised too, but think about it, it makes sense, she’s jealous.”

”Jealous?”

”She saw the advertisement you shot with Yu Zhiyang.” Zhou Lan said, ”She even proposed to the brand to delete Yu Zhiyang’s scenes, not to shoot anymore, and asked them to find someone else to redo it.”

Zhou Yun found it unbelievable and asked, ”Is she crazy?”

Zhou Lan shrugged and said, ”This request is unreasonable. The brand outright rejected it, but from this, you can see how strong that woman’s jealousy is.”

”Isn’t this just forcing a deal?” Zhou Yun said annoyedly.

He Yong said, ”Yu Zhiyang signed the contract himself.”

Zhou Yun bit her lip.

She said to Zhou Lan, ”Sister Lan, do you have a way to contact Yu Zhiyang privately to meet him? I want to hear his own opinion.”

Zhou Lan said, ”I don’t recommend you do this, the risk is too high, if Yu Zhiyang is unscrupulous, seeing you reach out to him, he might instead want to use you to free himself, and he could trap you.”

Zhou Lan’s reminder was not unreasonable.

No one knows if this unfamiliar young man could turn out to be an ingrate.

Zhou Yun has a special identity that can’t afford such a risk.

Seeing this, He Yong, not wanting Zhou Yun to take a risk for Yu Zhiyang, quickly said, ”Don’t go looking for him yet, leave it to me. I’ll contact him first. A melon forced off its vine is not sweet; let’s see if we can find a way to get that wealthy woman to initiate the termination of the contract with Yu Zhiyang.”

...

The three people discussing Yu Zhiyang had no idea that at this moment, someone was trying to find a way to help him break free.

He was locked in his dormitory all day today.

The company wouldn’t let him go out.

Because that person did not want to see him going to attend the second round of auditions for Zhou Yun’s drama.

The dormitory was arranged by that person, a simple single apartment of over thirty square meters.

Yu Zhiyang lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

The room was very quiet, not a single sound.

It felt like a cage.

When he received the notification for the second round of auditions earlier, he was thrilled, extremely excited. It was a tremendous opportunity for him. Who knew that a bucket of cold water would be thrown on him because of that person’s instructions, and the company directly rejected the second round of auditions, making him give up.

Yu Zhiyang knew why this was happening.

She wanted him to submit.

Just like she always said, if he was willing, he could immediately start living a different life; he wouldn’t have to keep running around like now.

But he was unwilling.

-

Since the work had temporarily ended, Zhou Yun, according to earlier agreements, gave Cao Jun and Zheng Xiaoju a break and she also booked a plane ticket.

”Are you sure you want to go alone?” Zhou Lan asked surprisingly, ”The crew is full of prying eyes. Aren’t you afraid of being discovered when you run over there alone?”

Zhou Yun said, ”If they find out, they find out, just say I went to visit the set.”

Zhou Lan, ”So now you’re fearless because you think you might as well be open about it?”

Zhou Yun laughed and said, ”That’s what you said, after all, I’m not walking the celebrity idol path anymore. Even if it really gets exposed, then so be it.”

”Aren’t you afraid of being exposed now?” Zhou Lan scoffed, ”You were worried about this and that before, and now look at you.”

”Ah, I can’t avoid exposure just to avoid meeting Song Chi, can I? Then what kind of love would that be? Just chatting online in a Platonic relationship?”

Zhou Yun murmured.

”Whatever you want, if you really get exposed with Song Chi, I’d be more than happy.” Zhou Lan had always had this attitude, ”I’ve said before, the two of you dating is beneficial and harmless to both of your careers.”

After all, after the variety show ”After We Spread Gossip” aired, it gained them a bunch of loyal CP fans.

Even if not CP fans, those who are averse to them being together are very few.

And in fact, dating does help artists maintain exposure. Objectively speaking, it’s important.

Zhou Yun said, ”Keep an eye on Yu Zhiyang for me. Ah, I really want to go talk to him personally, but you said not to.”

Zhou Lan, ”Leave the professional matters to the professionals. It’s better for He Yong to handle this than us.”

”Just afraid he doesn’t really want to handle it.”
