Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 364: Chapter 313: Rising Phase: 149_2

Zhou Yun gave him a sidelong glance.

”Sister Lan is really unreliable, she knew I wanted to give you a surprise and still told you!”

Song Chi said, ”You’ve already given me a surprise, surprised me on the set.”

He lowered his head and kissed Zhou Yun on the lips.

”Why did you suddenly come over? No work recently?”

”Nothing at the moment, just waiting to join the crew in October.” Zhou Yun said, ”So I came over.”

Her eyes seemed to shimmer with moisture.

Song Chi felt a wave of heat rising from the bottom of his heart.

...

At the end of September, the night air was already slightly chilly.

But neither Zhou Yun nor Song Chi felt cold.

Afterwards, the bed was slightly disheveled, Zhou Yun pulled a corner of the quilt around her, revealing a long, straight, smooth leg, gently resting on Song Chi’s leg.

Song Chi turned his head to look at Zhou Yun, his mouth slightly upturned.

”Aren’t you busy selecting the male lead for your new movie recently? Did you find someone?”

”Don’t mention it, I liked someone, but his situation is a bit complicated, I don’t know if he can come.” Zhou Yun sighed lightly.

Song Chi asked, ”Why? He doesn’t want to act?”

Zhou Yun shook her head and told Song Chi about Yu Zhiyang’s situation.

Upon hearing this, Song Chi said, ”This situation is indeed a bit tough, his company doesn’t plan on letting him advance, nor count on him to make money, it’s hard to break through from any angle, we can only try to see if we can make his company give up on him willingly.”

”What situation would make his company give him up willingly?” Zhou Yun asked.

Song Chi: ”This isn’t something that can be explained in a few sentences. If we really want to do this, it’s going to take a lot of effort, starting with figuring out what the weak points of that female boss who wants him are, only then we can find a way to tackle her.”

Zhou Yun: ”I still don’t know who this female boss of his really is.”

Song Chi: ”Since He Yong said he would think of a way, we might as well wait and see what he plans to do, he has been in this industry for so long, maybe he has his ways.”

Zhou Yun shrugged her shoulders, ”I don’t know, we can only wait and see.”

Song Chi suddenly asked, ”That man called Yu Zhiyang, what did you see in him?”

”Ah?” Zhou Yun frowned in confusion.

Song Chi suddenly leaned in, with furrowed brows, staring at Zhou Yun with an inquiring gaze.

”Wait, you can’t go overboard with this.”

”So it seems you do feel guilty?” Song Chi immediately used Zhou Yun’s own words against her.

Zhou Yun felt that when Song Chi got childish, he could be really childish.

That night, Song Chi asked the same question at least ten times.

Of course, Zhou Yun didn’t know how to answer.

Unable to answer.

The next morning, Song Chi’s phone rang early.

Zhou Yun was still half asleep, lying on the bed, holding a pillow.

In her groggy consciousness, she heard Song Chi whispering, ”I’m at the hotel, don’t make a fuss about it.” Presumably, Zhang Cong called early in the morning because he couldn’t find Song Chi in the room and got worried.

Zhou Yun opened her eyes.

The blackout curtain was pulled open a small angle, letting in a bit of light.

With this light, just enough to see a muscular figure.

Song Chi pulled on his pants and clothes, turned around and saw Zhou Yun had opened her eyes at some point.

Her almond-sized pupils gently looked at him with a smile.

”I woke you up, didn’t I?”

”Are you heading to the set to shoot?” Zhou Yun asked.

Song Chi nodded and said, ”I’m going to the set.”

”Is it a full day’s shoot today?” she asked.

Song Chi walked over to the bed, leaned down, and kissed Zhou Yun on the forehead, then on her cheek.

”Yes.” He felt a bit apologetic, ”The shooting task is rather heavy, I’ll see if I can finish on time tonight, and I’ll come pick you up for dinner.”

Zhou Yun: ”Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.”

Song Chi: ”I’ll go ahead then.”

”Okay.”

Zhou Yun watched Song Chi leave, closing the door behind him, she yawned again, closed her eyes, and went back to sleep.

A kind of inexplicable reassurance.

Zhou Yun slept until nine in the morning before she got up from bed.

She dawdled a bit as she got ready, thinking about what to do today.

Zhou Lan suddenly called.

”Traitor, are you here to beg for forgiveness?” Zhou Yun picked up the phone and asked straight away.

Zhou Lan said, ”You should call me Cupid, the warm-hearted god of love.”

”Go away.”
