Thirty Red Dragons circled in the sky, immediately catching the attention of some nearby people.

They glanced up at these Red Dragons, and those who felt incapable shrank back, not planning to confront Gu Xi directly.

However, there were still some who had their eyes on these Red Dragons.

That was a player from Qiufeng City.

Unlike other Qiufeng City players who hid as soon as night fell.

This player was also the bold type, and he had two bizarre abilities, one of which allowed him to blend unnoticed among people; this was his earliest bizarre ability.

With this bizarre ability, the player could enter and exit places with many people.

The more people there were, the safer he felt.

The other bizarre ability allowed him to take someone else’s identity for a short time, but this required him to come into contact with that person, and the person couldn’t have any bizarre abilities.

This was already quite advantageous. He had previously used this method to gain many benefits from some classmates.

Because of this, he was well-regarded by Qiufeng City, considered one of the five most promising newcomers in this cohort.

He even earned the title of Thousand-Faced Man.

This time, when he saw the thirty Red Dragons by Gu Xi’s side, his eyes immediately lit up.

These were thirty Red Dragons, even if they were the weakest ones, they were still dragons.

If he could get close enough to Gu Xi, just by touching Gu Xi, he could secretly assume Gu Xi’s identity, and then he could control these Red Dragons to leave.

With these thirty Red Dragons, there was nothing he couldn’t achieve.

Even if he went out at night and swept across the entire area, killing the bizarre creatures he saw during the day, searching for ways to unravel and control these bizarre abilities.

He believed that if given two nights, he could capture at least fifteen bizarre abilities above Level 5, and then his ranking would rise to the top ten, and after being out, he could even challenge for the first position in this cohort of Qiufeng City.

Thinking about the guy who had already mastered three bizarre abilities, this player chuckled.

”Ku Xiong, you didn’t see this coming, did you? This round, I’m making the first move.”

After saying this, the player pulled up his clothes, and a dashing cloak appeared behind him.

But as soon as he put on the cloak, he became very ordinary.

Looking at him, one would always feel he was quite natural there.

Even though his appearance in the cloak didn’t fit with the street in front of him, when looking at him, people would always feel that he belonged there.

This feeling was like seeing a woman in the men’s restroom—a very unreasonable sight, right? But she was dressed in a cleaner’s uniform, cleaning the premises, and suddenly her presence felt very reasonable, even making one think they were intruding on her work.

This was his first bizarre ability.

However, using a bizarre ability always came at a cost, even if it was his own life-bound bizarre ability.

After putting on this cloak, his body instinctively initiated some special stimuli to prove to the outside world that he was not an ordinary person.

For instance, he might suddenly do a handstand while walking.

Or when opening a door, he might back through it.

If he couldn’t control these actions in time, he would turn from the unnoticed to the most noticeable.

So usually, without certain conditions, he wouldn’t wear this cloak.

As for the other life-bound bizarre ability, it was the glove on his left hand. The glove was pure black, and upon close inspection, one would notice some purple threads occasionally swimming out from inside.

But he quickly patted them back in.

This was his second life-bound bizarre ability. However, this one was higher in level and had more rules; after using it, he had to constantly pay attention to the situation inside the bizarre glove.

If the threads turned red, he needed to feed it flesh; if they turned black, he needed to remove the glove immediately.

Now, the threads were purple, just in the usable state.

This player felt confident enough to provoke Gu Xi.

So he quickly went to wait along Gu Xi’s team’s path.

Seeing the approaching Red Dragons, the player’s eyes shone.

The Red Dragons were coming soon; now was the best time to go out. As long as he mingled into the Undead Mage’s team, he could approach the Undead Mage.

As for whether the Undead Mage could notice someone new in the team?

What a joke, looking at a bunch of skulls, could you differentiate one skull from another?

As long as he got close to Gu Xi, he could use his bizarre glove to temporarily replace Gu Xi.

Finally, the Red Dragons in the sky and the Undead Corps on the ground would all be his.

Even if it was just for two or three days, that was enough.

So the player waited there, observing the team in front of him.

He couldn’t help but mutter a comment.

”Playing with the Undead Mage like this is really... really impressive.”

It turned out that the player had seen a team of night brides, each with a painted white face and black lipstick, looking ghostly.

This team wasn’t long, but it wasn’t small either, with about sixty people altogether.

Among them, someone carried a uniquely Japanese palanquin, but it looked so cramped that even as a coffin, it would be considered small.

As this team turned the street corner, the player snuck in.

His bizarre ability activated, and under the cloak’s effect, even though his appearance and clothing were entirely different from the others, no one thought he didn’t belong.

Then the player slowed his pace, quickly closing in on the palanquin in the middle of the team, ready to capture the person inside.

But at that moment, he suddenly heard a woman’s voice from inside the palanquin.

”Meizi, how do I look? Do you think I can catch his attention?”

Upon hearing this, the player was startled.

This wasn’t good; he had joined the wrong team, not the Undead Mage’s team, but the one offering sacrifices.

The player prepared to leave immediately, but just then, thirty Red Dragons descended from the sky, unleashing a torrent of Dragon Breath on the ground.

Afterward, a large number of undead surged forth, wildly slashing at the Dragon Breath-struck enemies.

When Gu Xi arrived, he heard a notification.

[Qiufeng City’s Thousand-Faced Man (Wu Tianyou) has fallen in battle!]
