Watching Gu Xi’s team advance continuously, the man who had been observing secretly added another fiery red crack to his face.

”No, I cannot lose, and I will not lose.”

So the man took the whistle and blew it again.

At this time, while traveling, Gu Xi was also checking the information that had just popped up.

[Arroyo led the team to comprehend a special ability, please ensure the team’s survival within 30 days and find a suitable station for it, otherwise the special ability will automatically dissipate.]

[Death Incarnation devoured a large amount of coal ash, the black mist around it mutated again, it needs to retreat for stabilization, do you allow its retreat?]

”Death Incarnation retreats, Arroyo advances.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, Death Incarnation in the sky turned around, ready to be recalled, just at this moment, Gu Xi heard a sharp whistle.

He looked towards the direction of the whistle and found at the rooftop not far away, a man, all in black with fiery red cracks on his skin, blowing a whistle.

With the whistle, the black shadows gathered in the rear suddenly moved, and just like how they had gathered before, they rapidly turned into black powder.

This situation startled Gu Xi, and just as he puzzled over what they intended to do, the black powder regrouped into a giant Firebird made of black ash.

This Firebird, trailing black smoke, leaped up from the ground and charged directly towards Gu Xi’s team.

Death Incarnation rushed forward without even needing Gu Xi’s command.

But faster than Death Incarnation were the Griffins flying in the back, they turned and dove into the body of the black Firebird.

The Griffins ripped open the Firebird’s body with one impact, but as the Firebird spun in mid-air, its flames ignited the Griffins’ feathers.

The Griffins in the sky twisted their bodies constantly, trying to remove the flames, but no matter how they struggled, the fire would not extinguish, and a large amount of black ash encircled them from all sides, dragging the audacious Griffins into the black ash.

At this moment, Death Incarnation had also reached the Firebird.

Death Incarnation was notably smaller in size compared to the Firebird.

But its aura was much stronger than the Firebird, and just like the Griffins’ previous attack, it crashed head-on into the Firebird’s body.

With this crash, it tore the Firebird’s body into two pieces.

And as the Firebird shook its body, it turned back into black ash powder, intending to envelop Death Incarnation.

At this point, a blue powder glow flashed across Death Incarnation’s body.

Its body rammed back and forth in the black ash formed by the Firebird, and with each charge, it took away a large swath of black ash.

As it happened more, the black ash in the sky obviously lessened a lot.

Then the whistle of the man on the rooftop became even more piercing.

The Firebird no longer maintained its Firebird form and turned into a large net, layer upon layer, attempting to ensnare Death Incarnation.

Gu Xi glanced up at the man, then turned his head to look at Shaya.

Shaya immediately understood Gu Xi’s intention, turning and moving towards the position where the man stood, with nine Vampire Knights who came out together with her following behind.

They carried Two-Handed Greatswords, but like Thieves, they followed behind Shaya, appearing for only a second with each movement before quickly disappearing.

If someone wasn’t specifically watching them, they wouldn’t even notice that such a group was following Shaya.

Shaya flipped several times, jumping onto a nearby building, then lightly stepping to swiftly leap over some nearby obstacles.

At this moment, the man also noticed Shaya’s approach, he shouted angrily, ”Get lost, come closer and I’ll kill you.”

Shaya wouldn’t be afraid of such a guy, facing his provocation, Shaya jumped up, leaping a significant distance.

The man, in a fit of rage, grabbed something like an Iron Hammer, spinning it in his hand before hurling it heavily at Gu Xi.

But just as his Iron Hammer was thrown, a Vampire Knight appeared behind him.

Before the man could react, the Vampire Knight’s Longsword slashed down from behind, slicing open the man’s back.

At this moment, blood gushed from the wound, the blood on the man’s body evaporated quickly due to the high heat.

The man’s complexion shifted from black to an inky color, he shouted loudly.

”Do you know what you have done?”

Just as he finished yelling, another Vampire Knight appeared behind, this time the Vampire Knight’s Longsword changed from a vertical slash to a horizontal cut.

And at this moment, Shaya reached the man, with a Dagger in her right hand and a wooden stick of Bone Healing Wood in her left, crossing her hands to the man’s neck, she sliced forward heavily.

The man’s neck was slashed open by Shaya.

At this point, on Death Incarnation’s side, surrounded by black ash, Death Incarnation spewed out its strongest attack towards the black ash, Death Dragon Breath.

Under a green light, all the surrounding darkness was dispersed.

At the same time, the black mist around it began to devour everything.

In the blink of an eye, half of the black ash in the sky was gone.

Seeing Shaya’s attack take down the man, Gu Xi no longer cared to watch.

This battle here was irrelevant, the most important thing now was to get to Victoria Tower.

If they delayed, who knows what they would face.

”Let’s go!”

Gu Xi didn’t care about anyone else, he directly gave the order.

So Arroyo’s troops began to advance forward, clearing the way, with the remaining Undead protecting the human soldiers as they proceeded.

Having killed the man, Shaya casually picked up the whistle by the man’s mouth, then jumped down from the building, running towards Gu Xi’s direction.

However, the Vampire Knights following Shaya did not immediately leave, they surrounded the man’s corpse, contemplating something.

They were somewhat confused internally, feeling as though there was something wrong with the man’s blood.

After some discussion, the Vampire Knights decided to extract all the blood from the man’s corpse, though it was now so hot like lava, they still drank it down.

Meanwhile, in the sky, Death Incarnation battling the black ash was doing its final cleanup effort, it tumbled continuously in the sky, dragging the black ash into the black mist with each roll.

Once the cleanup was almost done, Death Incarnation flashed quickly through the sky, disappearing as swiftly as it came.

At this time, the Griffins in the sky who hadn’t had the chance to participate in the battle gathered in small groups, contemplating a serious issue at the spot where Death Incarnation disappeared.

The ground battle didn’t involve them, and neither did the sky battle.

Then what did they come here to do this time?
