______________

After leaving Yalidovi Tower, Gu Xi discovered that the fog outside seemed to have dissipated quite a bit, and he could even see the city gate of Yalidu City from afar.

It looks like taking down Yalidovi Tower has been quite beneficial for Gu Xi.

Gu Xi is sure that as long as the fog between Yalidu City and Yalidovi Tower clears, another medium-sized district can be developed here.

Luna, who had left early, is studying the layout of this area, determining how many plots of land can be divided here.

When she saw Gu Xi approaching, Luna quickly went up to meet him.

”Sir, is everything sorted out at Yalidovi Tower?”

”Yes, I’ve handled it. Crow Lamp, go ahead and set up, let’s clear out this fog first.”

”No, Sir, the Crow Lamp isn’t meant to be used here.”

As soon as Luna heard Gu Xi’s idea, she began to explain.

”I’ll arrange something for the Crow Lamp. It’s for patrols within the city and doesn’t necessarily need to be placed in the fog. Three Crow Lamps per area are sufficient.”

Gu Xi realized Luna had already reviewed this haul.

The reason for keeping these three items is to let Gu Xi know what they gained this time.

As for the use of these items, Luna had already made her judgments.

”Alright, you’re more familiar with city construction than I am. You handle the arrangements. By the way, how do you feel about this area?”

”It’s a good piece of land. We can establish a new district here. From what I currently see, there are at least three large plots, seven medium plots, and eleven small plots available.

The most important thing is that there are no other buildings in this area now, so we can easily adjust the position of the buildings as we lay out plans.”

”That big?” Gu Xi was surprised for a moment, then he asked, ”Luna, with our current military strength, is it better to expand outward from the current city into the mist, or use Yalidovi Tower as a springboard to attack the two other periods of Yalidu City?”

Listening to Gu Xi’s question, Luna didn’t answer directly; instead, she asked a question back.

”Sir, even if we can strike the other periods of Yalidu City now, do we have the manpower to station there?”

This question made Gu Xi smile wryly.

That’s truly a realistic issue.

Gu Xi’s forces are severely lacking.

Sometimes Gu Xi wonders if he still counts as an Undead Mage.

Why does he constantly feel short of troops?

In fact, Gu Xi isn’t aware that his situation is considered a paragon of an Undead Mage in others’ eyes.

No other Undead Mage has a military force of thousands at Level 4.

No other Undead Mage has their own city even without gaining a Talent.

The reason Gu Xi feels short on troops is that his army can’t meet the demands of his rapidly expanding city.

If Gu Xi had no city and was just leading his troop, he probably wouldn’t feel short of forces.

Not to mention three heroes, or dozens of bosses; even a thousand soldiers are the result of years of accumulation for other Undead Mages.

Right now, Gu Xi is not aware of this.

Having only been an Undead Mage for a few days, he only feels his forces are severely lacking.

”No, I need to find a way to get more troops. If only I had the Death Lord skill, then I could find some undead world to farm any type of forces.”

Gu Xi was complaining about this when he and Luna entered Yalidu City together.

”Alright, I’ll leave the next tasks to you. I need to return to the guild. This dungeon run wasn’t for nothing; at least we made some gains. After I return, keep an eye on the situation over at Victoria City.

If Shaya needs anything, help her if you can.

I think this change in Victoria will still take some time to complete.

If our Furnace Stone is not working, try to see if Yalidovi Tower can connect with Shaya.

I guess that after six transformations, Victoria Tower still exists, which means this place remains an eternal core of Victoria City. No matter how Victoria changes, there won’t be much change here.

This place is unlikely to block our contact with Victoria City. You should handle this well by yourself.”

Gu Xi is quite assured of Luna’s presence.

Before returning to the Assembly Hall of Yalidu City, Gu Xi briefed Luna a few more sentences, and then he chose to exit Yalidu City.

When Gu Xi exited, he again heard the previous notification sound.

[Dungeon: Westminster Cathedral’s Major Event destroyed, dungeon ended early. Do you want to restart the dungeon or exit it directly?]

Gu Xi glanced at his attributes, finally saying decisively, ”Exit dungeon.”

As soon as Gu Xi said this, he was ejected from Yalidu City.

Fortunately, Gu Xi’s strength had improved greatly now, and the Chaoyang Radiance Guild had various solutions for handling different pop-up worlds and dungeons, so when Gu Xi was ejected, he immediately felt his body become much lighter.

He felt like a feather, fluttering in the wind.

Gu Xi tried to flip himself over, but before he could straighten his body, the force lifting him dissipated instantly, and Gu Xi crashed to the ground, face-first.

After lying on the ground for a moment, Gu Xi got up.

Looking around, he realized he was still standing at the teleportation gate where he entered the dungeon.

”You’re out, here’s your Dungeon Crystal. You have four more chances, keep it safe and don’t let anyone rob it.”

”Oh.”

Gu Xi put away the Dungeon Crystal and then checked his attributes; his Undead Knowledge and Magic Knowledge reached the standard but the number of Professional Skills at Level 4 was still insufficient.

Seems like he needs to find a place to practice his skills.

Next time, he should come back for this dungeon after reaching Level 5.

Thinking of this, Gu Xi asked, ”I’d like to know, where should I go to improve my Professional Skill Level?”

The player by the teleportation gate glanced at Gu Xi, ”You must be a newbie. Newbies need to go to the battlefield for quick skill level-ups, Battlefield Level upgrades the fastest.”

”Battlefield? Which battlefield?”

Just as Gu Xi was about to ask about the situation here, someone pulled him away.

”Gu Xi, don’t mess around.”

Gu Xi turned to see that it was Li Xinghui, who brought him to Chaoyang Radiance Guild.

”Brother Li, what are you doing here?”

”I came specifically to find you. Let’s find a place to chat.”
