Swish!

The two armies clashed together, showcasing their greatest skills.

The Black Spear Camp’s attacks were like a tidal wave, continuously thrusting forward, striking the enemy in front of them.

Meanwhile, the attacks from the zombie’s subordinates had a different style; their attacks fell like snowflakes from the sky, drifting gracefully as they pierced from different angles.

When the two sides clashed, Gu Xi understood that victory was certain for him this time.

The attacks from the zombie’s subordinates, though flashy in appearance, were not as high-level as the Black Spear Camp under Gu Xi.

Furthermore, their attacks were embellished with many fancy elements, which slowed their strike speed compared to the Black Spear Camp.

While the Black Spear Camp was able to launch three attacks, they could only manage two. Additionally, the black and gray of the Black Spear Camp provided a concealing effect, compromising the Skeleton Soldier’s ability to dodge piercing attacks.

Often, when the Black Spear Camp had already killed five or six enemies, they could only manage to kill one Black Spear Camp soldier.

In this situation, the zombie finally realized his mistake, acknowledging that his subordinates were not invincible. He had been careless this time.

However, compared to the small units from before, the zombie was a notable figure, and when faced with the situation, he quickly reacted, taking out a black chess-like piece and throwing it to his lancer subordinates.

A black feather fell onto the lancers, adding another layer of armor to them.

Meanwhile, the drum major in front of him began playing consistently.

Within a moment, the lancers’ morale was boosted significantly, and their attack speed towards the Black Spear Camp increased considerably.

But they underestimated Gu Xi, who did not use any spells as the zombie had anticipated, but instead acted according to his plan and used the Soul Summoning Skill on the fallen corpses.

This time, immediately following the Soul Summoning Skill, the corpses on the ground began to transform and became zombies wielding long spears.

They followed behind Arroyo, joining the attack.

Even if Arroyo did not officially incorporate them into the Black Spear Camp, those behind him still received Arroyo’s support and participated in the battle.

As new undead reinforcements arrived, the balance of forces between enemy and ally began to change.

No matter how the zombie used spells to strengthen his own troops, it was useless. The number of lavishly dressed lancers was dwindling, and the Black Spear Camp was about to reach the zombie’s front lines.

At this moment, Gu Xi suddenly turned to look in another direction.

Beside him, skeleton soldiers wielding swords and shields began to appear, along with powerful units like skeleton shooters and skeleton mages.

As troops emerged from the Earth Gate, a demon corps also appeared at the location Gu Xi was watching.

Four demon heroes led the way for the army.

They consisted of three males and one female. The foremost male demon had blood-red skin, resembling a peeled shrimp, while the two following him were tall with curved horns, in a traditional demon style.

The final female demon was quite surprising; she was wearing blood-red exoskeleton armor that instantly elevated her height to that of the male demons.

Behind them were numerous red-skinned little demons, half the size of normal humans. Some wielded three-pronged forks, others raised both hands, conjuring fireballs, and some held nothing at all, instead thrusting their hands into the ground and bulging their arm muscles like gorillas.

The number of demons they brought was not large, totaling less than four hundred, but Gu Xi’s expression became serious.

Have the people of Cold Leaf City come together so quickly?

”Bone-Slaying Camp, advance.”

With this thought in mind, Gu Xi decisively released Robbie.

He also turned to look towards the Black Spear Camp, ”Arroyo, speed up.”

Seeing the new troops coming out from the city gate, the demon corps rushing towards Gu Xi’s direction were stunned.

What kind of troop is this?

Obviously skeleton soldiers wielding two-handed swords, but why are there candles lit on top of their heads?

Could it be that the skeleton soldiers were an illusion and the candles on top were the main bodies?

Several demon heroes immediately issued orders for their subordinates to attack the candles atop the enemies’ heads as they themselves charged forward.

This also showed the combat style of the demon sorcerer players.

They were accustomed to directly joining the battle.

To Gu Xi, he was not concerned about the demon players’ impact, as in the Bone-Cutting Mushroom’s camp, there were many skeleton bosses, not to mention the recently added skeleton warriors that could fight; there was no need for Gu Xi to intervene.

At this time, Gu Xi’s attention was instead focused on Arroyo’s side.

With the appearance of the demon players, Gu Xi sensed that there might be an issue with the zombie, these demon players were likely targeting this zombie.

He wondered whether there was anyone directing these demon players from behind.

If there was, then there must be others behind them.

Now was not the time to deploy all the forces.

On the contrary, summoning reinforcements with the Soul Summoning Skill was the most reasonable choice.

Indeed, when Gu Xi ignored the four demon players and continued summoning reinforcements, about two to three thousand meters from the battlefield, several demon players were observing the situation on the battlefield through a crystal ball.

Leading them was a female demon player dressed in a sheer veil.

Unlike the one who went to battle, this female demon player wore no exoskeleton armor, sitting lightly on a white feather, floating in front of the others. Her small, red feet swayed in front of the other demon players, irresistibly captivating their hearts.

”Big sister, that guy has quite a bit of force. What should our next move be?”

”I thought he only had around five hundred lancers, but I didn’t expect him to have so many troops hidden here. Seems like we need to change our battle plan.”

The big sister appeared somewhat helpless as she looked at the crystal ball.

”Big sister, just tell us. We’ll listen to you.”

”Yeah, and we’ll listen to you!”

”That’s right, big sister, just point us where to fight.”

Upon hearing the big sister’s words, the demon players all shouted loudly.

The big sister nodded, ”Alright, let’s not add fuel to the fire. Let’s push upwards with all our forces. I still have three demonized cyclopes here. Shi Xiu, I’ll leave these three to you to control. Once we attack, charge directly into that guy’s main camp.

Defeat him first, and even if you can’t defeat him, draw his attention. I’ll approach from the sky, and this time, the treasure under the zombie is something we surely must acquire.”

”Yes!” all the demon players responded together.
