While Gu Xi was discussing the future development direction of Yalidu City with Luna, the various towers and structures of Yalidovitar were also being occupied.

From time to time, Luna would tell Gu Xi the names of the newly acquired towers and their functions.

For example, the tower next to the White Tower is called Blood Tower, and it’s said that a king and his brother were nailed to the wall there.

Further on, there is a structure called the Queen’s Terrace, used to imprison the Empress.

Connected to the City Gate is the Lion Tower, which used to breed large numbers of lions, bears, and wolves. Anyone wanting to enter Yalidovitar would have to pass through here.

However, now Yalidovitar’s gates are open, not to mention lions, bears, or wolves, there aren’t even defending soldiers at all.

In addition, Yalidovitar also contains an observatory, a prison, a church, an execution ground, a zoo, and a small dock.

If not for Luna’s explanation, Gu Xi wouldn’t have known a castle could have so many functions.

By this time, the Undead Soldiers under Gu Xi’s command had also tidied up the battlefield.

The aerial battle this time caused notable losses for Gu Xi, with all fifteen Stone Golems perishing, while most of the Red Dragons were only slightly injured and could recover with some rest.

Some of the Corpse Poison Flies also died, but their achievements were quite impressive, having killed all the crows, ensuring the safety of Gu Xi’s ground forces in battle.

Looking at the pile of crow corpses in front of him, Gu Xi hesitated for a moment, ”Send them to the tavern, see if they can make something out of them.”

At the same time, Gu Xi looked at the thirty Red Dragons, all of them carrying some injuries to varying degrees.

”Behind Yalidovitar there is a Treasure Hall and a Coinage Factory. The area there is quite adequate, so you might as well rest over there. I’ll have the Barmaid specifically deliver food to you.

You should have a drink.”

Upon hearing this, all the Red Dragons nodded their heads.

Of course, they would have a drink.

”Then, the drinks and food will be delivered to you later, but your task is to stay at Yalidovitar all the time. If anyone attacks Yalidovitar, you must defend it.

When I need you, you must fly to the City Gate once you receive my attack orders.”

Gu Xi told these things to the Red Dragons because they are living beings and are not suitable for residing in Yalidu City.

Remaining there would quickly lead them to be sent to the Longgu Laboratory as experimental subjects.

On the contrary, staying at Yalidovitar is relatively beneficial for them.

At least they wouldn’t be affected by the Negative Energy in Yalidu City.

As for the mysterious forces omnipresent outside Yalidovitar, they have little effect.

After arranging everything for the Red Dragons, Gu Xi looked over at the piles of various trash placed to the side. He rummaged through them a bit but had not found anything valuable before Arroyo returned with his troops.

”Sir.”

”Did you find anything?”

”Sir, I discovered an outer tower outside the city.”

Gu Xi pondered, then noticed that the troops Arroyo brought back clearly showed signs of a recent battle.

Seems like he slaughtered his way back here.

”Let’s go check it out.”

Gu Xi thought, since there’s nothing urgent, with so many things to inspect, who knows how long it’ll take to go through them all. Going with Arroyo to take a look doesn’t seem a problem.

Upon hearing this, Arroyo quickly led Gu Xi to the area where he had just fought his way back from.

After passing the grassy area with the gallows, Gu Xi and his team exited through the City Gate, noticing Arroyo heading in a different direction from the gate.

Upon entering here, Gu Xi noticed a 30-meter wide walled dyke. The six outermost towers and two bastions are located at the end of the passage—this is evidently the real defense focus of Yalidovitar.

However, Gu Xi was sure there weren’t these buildings here before he came.

”You fought your way here?”

”Yes, there were some shadowy figures inside these towers, not very strong, the Bosses were around Level 5, so I took them down.”

Gu Xi took a walk around the area and approximately understood what was going on.

This seems to be the overlap of different periods of Yalidovitar’s architecture, where buildings that should have been destroyed were preserved, and later newly constructed buildings also appeared automatically.

After taking a turn here, Gu Xi understood why Arroyo was so excited.

These six towers and two bastions combined are actually a large residence.

[Building Name: City Defense Tower

Level: 7

Stationed Troops: 0 units (0/6, can station six units)

Stationed Heroes: 0 (0/1, can station one hero)

Stationed Bosses: 0 (0/12, can station twelve bosses)

Stationed Soldiers: 0 soldiers (0/1200, can station 1200 soldiers; 1200 is the number of soldiers stationed by the building, hero command and boss command quantities are currently zero.)

Stationed Troop Types: Unlimited

Auxiliary Buildings: Armory (left bastion, attacks of all stationed soldiers +3), Ammunition Depot (right bastion, ammunition for all stationed soldiers is unlimited)

Note: When the building reaches Level 7, heroes can be stationed; at Level 15, leaders can be stationed.]

Looking at the attributes of this tower defense cluster, Gu Xi understood why Arroyo was so eager.

He’s always wanted an establishment.

This is basically like a pie falling from the sky. If he doesn’t eat this pie, Arroyo’s thoughts won’t be satisfied.

”Alright, I understand your thoughts, but there are some things I need to discuss with you beforehand.

Yalidovitar is very critical to me. Of the six troop stationing permissions, I can only give you permission for one unit. Once other regional bases are established, you and your troops must relocate.”

Arroyo also understood that his Lancer troops weren’t suitable for defense battles, and Gu Xi’s request was reasonable.

So, Arroyo promptly responded, ”Please rest assured, sir. As soon as there’s a suitable base for me, I’ll vacate this place.”

”Alright, you shall station here first, as for your troops, called Lancer...”

Gu Xi shook his head as he said this, ”I see your troops are recently shrouded in black-gray, this should be a new skill, let’s call it the Black Spear Camp. Hopefully, you work hard and improve yourself, elevating the Black Spear Camp to a higher level.”

Upon hearing this, Arroyo immediately bowed to Gu Xi.

”Please believe me, sir, it won’t be long before the Black Spear Camp becomes your most elite Black Spear Corps.”

Listening to Arroyo’s words, Gu Xi laughed heartily, ”Good, then I’ll be waiting for your request for camp-to-corps promotion then.”
