Brought the Furnace Whistle into Yalidov City.

The sound emitted by the whistle became increasingly sharp.

Standing at the city gate, Gu Xi could even hear the sound coming from Victoria City becoming more evident.

Faced with such a situation, Gu Xi waved his hand, severing the connection between the city gate and Victoria City.

At the moment the connection was cut, the Furnace Whistle in Gu Xi’s hand even flew up, emitting a piercing noise, trying to attract nearby coal cinders.

However, there were no coal cinders in Yalidov City, not even anything related to coal cinders.

The Furnace Whistle screamed for about two minutes, eventually losing all its power and falling to the ground.

Gu Xi then bent down to pick up the Furnace Whistle, and at that moment Gu Xi noticed that the Furnace Whistle seemed to have changed.

The original Furnace Whistle was a piece of iron just heated red-hot, feeling nothing in the hand, but when held close to the mouth, one could feel the scorching heat.

But now the whistle had turned into a blackened iron rod, clearly having lost all its power.

However, when Gu Xi picked up this item, he found that the description on the Furnace Whistle had completely changed.

[Furnace Whistle (Gray): A whistle that has lost its power; even if it was originally part of a purple set, it is now useless.]

[Note: The power lost does not dissipate but exists somewhere else in another form, please use this power quickly, otherwise, other items will come searching for it.]

[Explanation: This is a special set of twelve pieces; together, they are equivalent to a purple item but without any special penalties.]

”Hahahaha!”

Looking at the explanation in front of him, Gu Xi couldn’t help but laugh.

He realized this was the biggest gain of this operation, ”Luna, Luna!”

Under Gu Xi’s command, Luna flew out.

”Master, what’s up?”

”Take this, investigate where the lost energy went, and use it directly.”

Gu Xi tossed the Furnace Whistle into Luna’s hand, with a look of rightful gain.

Luna took a glance at the Furnace Whistle, then looked at the spot where it had fallen before, understandingly nodded.

”Okay, I got it.”

After speaking, Luna flew to the spot where the Furnace Whistle had fallen, placing it on the ground.

Then Luna pressed both hands on the ground, and the Furnace Whistle melted right there.

Afterwards, Gu Xi saw a blaze of red light emanating from the ground, even melting part of it.

However, this anomaly only lasted a moment, disappearing within a few seconds, as if nothing had ever happened.

Only the sound coming to Gu Xi’s ear reminded him of the change in the city this time.

[Special power infused into Yalidov City, please choose the direction of power transformation.]

[Fire Pit: Ignite a fire pit at the special power fusion point, attracting outside populations to take refuge in this city (effect similar to Level 3 Refugee Camp, randomly spawning Level 3 to 7 soldiers each week).]

[Geothermal: A geothermal spot appears at the special power fusion point, merging with the sewer to form a geothermal sewer (steam pipes laid inside the sewer, expanding the sewer and increasing certain plots).]

[Lamp Post: Erect a lamp post at the special power fusion point to rapidly gather soldiers (effect equivalent to assembly flag plus fixed-point teleportation gate).]

The appearance of three options made Gu Xi feel a bit troubled.

He wanted all three.

One is equivalent to directly having an additional random troop training camp, even though the troops vary weekly, but if luck is on his side, and a Level 7 troop emerges, that would be a huge boon.

Another is the current most needed plot in Yalidov; now, in Yalidov City, large plots are nearly exhausted, and medium and small plots have been allocated.

But he had just received a batch of new architectural design plans, and they are a series.

Gu Xi believed that if these architectural design plans were put together, he could even create a dedicated Ghost District.

For the current Gu Xi, being able to add a new plot is a good thing.

As for the lamp post, its function is not clear now, but as Yalidov gradually expands, its function will gradually manifest.

Currently, Yalidov City has only two city gates; even if a new gate is completed, there would only be three.

But it takes time for soldiers to run from one gate to another.

Sometimes, when additional manpower is needed, the soldiers are far away, making the transfer more difficult.

Therefore, this lamp post is indeed quite useful.

One could say that these three direction changes are all desirable for Gu Xi, but he cannot have them all.

Facing such a choice, Gu Xi was silent for a moment, finally speaking slowly: ”I want the fire pit.”

This was the first time since becoming an Undead Mage that Gu Xi was uncertain about what he needed.

But he still spoke, and with the fall of his words, a flame rose at the original spot, and a giant bonfire as tall as a person appeared in front of Gu Xi.

With the appearance of the fire pit, Gu Xi also approached it, stretching his hand toward it, and a message popped up in front of him.

[A batch of refugees attracted by the fire pit this week, do you want to see them?]

”Yes.”

The first-time Gu Xi approached the fire pit was to see what type of troops it would spawn this week.

However, Gu Xi never expected that with this single response, a dragon’s roar would reach his ears.

Gu Xi’s eyes widened, looking at the information appearing before him, hardly believing his luck.

[This week’s output: Red Dragon*1, requiring 4670 Resources and 1 Dragon Blood Crystal for recruitment!]

[Red Dragon (Level 7 Summoned Corps): Experience (0/8000), Attack 35, Defense 20, Life 200, Skills: Flying Team, Fire Immunity (not targeted by negative fire spells, fire attribute damage received halved), Flame Breath (breathes fire over a fan-shaped area, causing equal power damage to all soldiers in the attack range)]

Looking at the Red Dragon in front of Gu Xi, with its wings and foreclaws grown together, and a tail tipped with fire, Gu Xi’s eyes lit up.

”Luna, those Soldier Recruitment Coupons I brought back last time, are they still around?”

Luna also understood Gu Xi’s meaning, quickly delivering those Soldier Recruitment Coupons to Gu Xi.

Accepting these three Soldier Recruitment Coupons, Gu Xi took a deep breath.

These Soldier Recruitment Coupons are meant for players to squeeze out some soldiers to fill their corps when there are no soldiers in the city.

But now, Gu Xi saw another hope.

”Recruit, recruit 30 Red Dragons!”
