With the unrolling of the second design plan, Gu Xi’s gaze fell upon the third piece of jewelry, another ring. However, this ring seemed quite ordinary, not even adorned with a ruby, but only set with a piece of amber.

[Wangyan Laboratory (Large): Use 3500 resources, 15 units of stone, and 15 units of wood to construct a Wangyan Laboratory (Large Building) in the city.

Once completed, ten Wangyan Musicians can be trained per week.

Before constructing this, a Level 1 Graveyard (Large) must first be built.]

The moment this architectural design plan appeared, Gu Xi was dumbfounded.

He truly couldn’t understand, what kind of troop is this?

Judging by the requirements, since a Level 1 Graveyard needs to be built first, it indicates that this is a troop of the same level as Ghosts, and the weekly production of ten also supports this.

But musicians coming out of a laboratory?

What a bizarre combination.

Gu Xi turned this architectural design plan over and over, but didn’t find any different information.

It seems that only after it’s built will the truth be revealed.

For now, Gu Xi could only shelve this doubt in his heart and turn his attention to the last piece of jewelry.

The first three are all large architectural design plans, so this last one should be a core architectural design plan.

Having controlled the Death City for so long, Gu Xi has actually learned some things; most core building design plans are already engraved in the city’s Assembly Hall.

As long as the city’s level is upgraded, construction can commence directly, without actually needing such plans.

However, a single core building design plan appearing often represents a shift in city attributes or direction.

Take, for example, human cities, which lack buildings like the Soul Summoning Tower and the Dark Sky, yet they can build them by acquiring the architectural design plans.

Gu Xi looked at the jewel before him, like a medal, hoping it was a human-exclusive core building.

The Stable or the Brotherhood, one to enhance mobility, the other to boost morale during defense.

With such thoughts, Gu Xi reached out and picked up the medal.

[Astrologer’s Tower (Core): Use 3000 resources to construct an Astrologer’s Tower (Core Building) in the city.

Once built, weekly astrology can be initiated; the effects of astrology will influence the weekly output of the city.]

Astrology?

Only then did Gu Xi realize that he had heard before that astrology could indeed greatly impact city development, but he had never received any astrological information, so he didn’t know where the impacts lay.

Now it seems, it’s not that he hadn’t received information, but that he hadn’t built the [Astrologer’s Tower], and without an Astrologer assisting Gu Xi, naturally no one would tell him what’s coming next week.

But now it’s different, with the appearance of the Astrologer’s Tower offering something new for Gu Xi.

Gu Xi also believes that astrologers must wield more than just a sliver of power.

There must be other things at play, only Gu Xi has nothing right now, so guessing won’t lead to any conclusions.

After some thought, Gu Xi gathered all the architectural design plans and walked out of this Central Fortress, which is also Yaliduvi Tower’s White Tower.

Here, Gu Xi noticed that the layers upon layers of Yaliduvi Tower’s mirror images had vanished, everything returning to how it was at the beginning.

”My lord.”

Luna, who had entered the Central Fortress at the start of the battle, appeared beside Gu Xi at this moment.

”Did you see it, the other two Yalidu Cities?”

”Yes, I saw them, two very large cities, each far larger than our current city.”

At this point, Luna paused.

”Is there something amiss?”

”I found that aside from sharing the Yaliduvi Tower node, the rivers remain unchanged for the three Yalidu Cities.”

Gu Xi is quite intelligent, and upon Luna’s words, he understood immediately.

”The Pier District.”

”Yes, the Pier District is also key to connecting multiple cities.”

Gu Xi’s expression turned serious at once.

He has placed many significant buildings in his Pier District, including two core buildings and a Longgu Laboratory.

If those places were seized, the situation would quite disconcerting.

”Luna, I’ve been meaning to ask, if we wish to relocate built structures elsewhere, how do we do it?”

”Tear down and rebuild; architectural design plans don’t disappear just because a building is constructed, and the resources won’t reduce upon tearing down. It’s only a waste of time; the impact is minimal.

If worried, one can construct the new building first before tearing the old one down.

Previously, we lacked land plots, hence had no alternatives, but if we conquer the two different-period Yalidu Cities, then lands will be sufficient. Given time, we can arrange each district logically.”

Luna knows that Gu Xi obtained many architectural design plans this time, having brought back a whole set of Ghost-related plans earlier.

Now that he asked, Gu Xi likely wants to make adjustments and rearrangements in the city, so Luna naturally clarified everything.

”So that’s how it is.” Gu Xi truly hadn’t realized before that design plans could be reused, but after thinking it over, he found it quite logical.

It’s just that he has limited land, hence hasn’t built duplicates of any building.

Now, seeing there is plenty of empty land, Luna came up with this scenario.

”However, there’s no immediate need at this time; most of our foundation still lies in the original Yalidu City. Regarding the other two period-specific Yalidu Cities, we’re merely able to reach them; we don’t yet have the capacity to conquer them.

I’ll have the barmaid handle this matter; at the very least, we need intelligence on the two Yalidu Cities before making any move.

Now our small and medium plots in the district are all filled, this time capturing Yalidu City earned us 15 city experience points. Combined with the small and medium plots, should the Death City’s level not be enough to rise to Level 4?”

”Yes, it’s enough.”

”Then let’s advance to Level 4 first; once we’re at Level 4, let’s focus on the Water Net Defense Line, in the sewers, you surely are aware of how many plots can be hidden there.”

”I understand your point, my lord.”

”Right, for the next core building upgrade, target the Soul Summoning Tower. Even if I can’t place it on the battlefield during combat, it can always be used in defensive battles.

The battles over in the Magic Plant District have been quite intensive.

Without building the Soul Summoning Tower, many souls were wasted.”

”I understand.” After setting the target, a determined look appeared in Luna’s eyes.
