Chapter 732, The Unfindable Frost Dragon Ruins

However, when all was said and done, such a powerful Ring would undoubtedly provide massive Enhancements for any Player. After all, not everyone was like Lu Fan, possessing Giant Dragons as Pets where even Legendary Grade items could be obtained at will.

If this Frost Dragon Jewel were given to other Players, it could more than double their Combat Power!

Suddenly, Lu Fan had found the perfect candidate to equip this Frost Dragon Jewel.

This person was Tao Xiaoman.

After all, Tao Xiaoman was a Water Sword God, which belonged to the Magic Swordsman category among Hidden Professions. Her Attack, Defence, and Support capabilities were not particularly outstanding, but her strength lay in the fact that she was exceptionally well-balanced, allowing her to fulfil any role within the team.

With her Profession, combined with Tao Xiaoman’s natural talents, her combat effectiveness within the team was still ranked at the bottom—not including Han Ke.

Normally, when she went out hunting for Monsters with Qin Qiu, Jian Ying and the others, she mostly played a Support, sometimes Tanking Monsters, sometimes Healing everyone, and occasionally dealing some Damage.

If the Frost Dragon Jewel were given to Tao Xiaoman, it would represent a tremendous enhancement to her capabilities.

Firstly, the Attribute Enhancement went without saying.

Her Profession specialised in using Water Element Magic, and it might produce some miraculous synergy when combined with the Frost Dragon Jewel.

Converting Water Element directly into Ice Element might not provide much assistance for Healing Skills. However, for Attack and Defence Skills, this would be an entire leap in tier!

Of course, exactly what Effects the Frost Dragon Jewel could produce would still depend on how Tao Xiaoman chose to utilise it.

Regardless, from Lu Fan’s perspective, the Frost Dragon Jewel was perfect for gifting it to Tao Xiaoman.

Presumably Tao Xiaoman would not refuse to accept such a precious Epic Grade Ring either. After all, Rings were already scarce, and now she could equip such a top quality Epic Grade equipment. She would surely be overjoyed, right?

The Frost Dragon Ruins were located within this Frost Dragon Icy Sky Map, requiring Lu Fan to do a thorough search.

As for Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpses, these Monsters were going to be common from now on, so Lu Fan could synthesise the Frost Dragon Jewel while searching for the Frost Dragon Ruins.

After making this decision, Lu Fan began following the guidance of the Frost Dragon Ruins Explorer’s Journal, to search for the Frost Dragon Ruins.

The Map Coordinates marked in the journal was not precise. So, the specific location of the Frost Dragon Ruins still required Lu Fan to search, and this process proved far longer than what Lu Fan had expected.

When he finally reached the Map Coordinates marked in the journal, he discovered nothing here. There was only the icy surface beneath his feet and the brilliantly clear sky above.

It was not that the Frost Dragon Ruins recorded in the journal were fake or fraudulent.

The journal had also mentioned that due to the urgent circumstances at the time, the author had only marked approximate Map Coordinates while delineating a general area, stating that the Frost Dragon Ruins exists anywhere within this range.

Therefore, Lu Fan needed to search thoroughly within this area to see exactly where this so-called ‘Frost Dragon Ruins’ might be located.

This area was not particularly large, yet was not small either.

In Lu Fan’s view, the Frost Dragon Ruins should be of considerable size, so finding it should not be too difficult.

Unfortunately, events did not unfold as expected. He had searched here for a long time without discovering anything peculiar.

Lu Fan even began to suspect whether the Map Coordinates recorded in the journal was the problem, with the Frost Dragon Ruins not located within this delineated area but somewhere in the vicinity.

Consequently, he expanded his search area further, conducting a comprehensive patrol of the surrounding area within approximately a hundred kilometres.

This endeavour consumed a full two days.

Naturally, the results were disappointing.

The entire Frost Dragon Icy Sky contained nothing except ice layers. There was no trace of anything else, and the so-called Frost Dragon Ruins seemed to just be one’s imagination.

However, these two days of searching were not entirely fruitless.

At the very least, Lu Fan had successfully gathered all materials for the Frost Dragon Jewel.

Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpses appeared extremely frequently throughout the Frost Dragon Icy Sky.

Yet the Drop Rate for Frost Dragon Essence proved rather disheartening.

This was understandable. The Frost Dragon Jewel was, after all, an Epic Grade Ring with powerful Effects. Even though Frost Dragon Icy Sky was a High Level Map, gathering sufficient materials to craft the Frost Dragon Jewel would not be that easy.

Lu Fan had eliminated over a hundred Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpses before finally collecting enough Frost Dragon Essences to successfully synthesise the Frost Dragon Jewel.

The Frost Dragon Jewel was a soybean-sized stone, azure blue and transparent like ice crystal. When equipped, it would directly embed itself into the Player’s middle finger.

From that point onwards, whenever the Player released Skills or executed normal Attacks, they could choose whether to invoke its power, adding Ice Element Effects to their Skills or Attacks.

Lu Fan directly stored the Frost Dragon Jewel in his Inventory, not intending to take it back immediately to gift it to Tao Xiaoman.

After all, he currently had an unresolved matter. He still could not locate the Frost Dragon Ruins.

Having thoroughly searched every corner of the Map Coordinates recorded in the journal, without finding any trace of the Frost Dragon Ruins, Lu Fan was beginning to lose patience.

He could not understand what had gone wrong.

The Frost Dragon Ruins Explorer’s Journal was a Legendary Grade item. It could not possibly be counterfeited.

Moreover, this Frost Dragon Icy Sky Map genuinely contained many Frost Dragon-related elements, so logically, there should be something related to Frost Dragons  here.

[But where exactly is the Frost Dragon Ruins?]

Lu Fan carefully reviewed everything he had experienced during these two days, and suddenly realised he had indeed overlooked certain suspicious details.

He clearly remembered that in one particular area of the Frost Dragon Icy Sky, Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpses appeared with extremely high frequency. At every interval, a new one would respawn on the ice surface.

Of the 25 Frost Dragon Essences, at least fifteen had been obtained during that period.

After leaving that area, the appearance frequency of Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpses had noticeably decreased.

Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpses were formed from the remains of a Frost Dragon.

If the Frost Dragon had truly died and its body transformed into a Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpse, then the more frequently Frost Dragon Gaseous Corpses appeared, the more it indicated that the Frost Dragon’s remains nearby.

However, Lu Fan had actually noticed an anomaly at the time and thoroughly searched the vicinity without discovering anything unusual, let alone catching sight of the Frost Dragon Ruins.

[Just where is it?]
