Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 705, Going to Have a Look at the Blood Moon’s Owner

Translator: Silavin

Originally, Lu Fan had planned, after letting the Giant Dragons eliminate those hidden Cherry Blossom Country super experts, he would head to the Far North to search for the Frost Dragon Ruins and see if he could find the Frost Dragon King.

However, considering that this was, after all, a major undertaking–conquering Cherry Blossom Country—he still decided to temporarily remain on Shadow Isle and first observe the situation in Cherry Blossom Country before making any moves.

If any slip-ups occurred during the conquest of Cherry Blossom Country, such as Star Strip Country interfering, or Cherry Blossom Country having some hidden super experts, Lu Fan would be able to promptly bring the Giant Dragons into action and clear away these obstacles.

If he went to the Far North, he would inevitably get disconnected from everything. With the underdeveloped communications there, should any unexpected incidents arise in the conquest of Cherry Blossom Country, he would have no way of immediately learning about them.

If he had done so much work only for Dragon Country to fail in conquering Cherry Blossom Country, or even worse, to ‘end up making wedding clothes for others’, he truly would have coughed up blood in frustration.

Fortunately, the intimidating might of Elder Jin was beyond question.

After Elder Jin personally visited several locations, no forces dared to interfere with Dragon Country’s conquest of Cherry Blossom Country anymore.

Over this past month, the policies for conquering Cherry Blossom Country had been formulated perfectly. Dragon Country increasingly won the hearts of the people, while the rebel armies frequently caused Cherry Blossom Country citizens to cry out in anguish.

Now, it could basically be confirmed that Dragon Country’s conquest of Cherry Blossom Country was as certain as nails on a board. No slip-ups would occur.

Thus, Lu Fan could proceed with his next plan, to head to the Far North in search of the Frost Dragon Ruins.

During this month, Elder Han had also honoured his agreement and provided Lu Fan with compensation for eliminating Cherry Blossom Country’s super experts.

Almost every day, countless materials rich with Life Force were transported to Shadow Isle. The value of these materials numbered in the hundreds of millions!

With Elder Han’s single command, virtually all materials meeting Lu Fan’s requirements from across the entire nation were transported here. The abundance of these materials was beyond imagination!

Seeing so many materials, the Two Headed Dragon and Flame Dragon were practically beside themselves with joy. The two Brothers did not idle about either, directly using flames to incinerate everything, allowing the Life Force to transform into nutrients that seeped deep into Shadow Isle’s soil to be absorbed by the Life Dragon King.

Such magnificent Life Force allowed the Life Dragon King to thoroughly replenish herself, and her condition had already recovered to about seventy or eighty percent.

The Life Dragon King could now maintain herself without sleeping, instead remaining conscious while rooted on Shadow Isle.

On her body, she had even produced two Life Fruits in succession.

Moreover, the growth of these Life Fruits was extremely promising.

Generally speaking, Life Fruits require a year to mature. But now, after merely one month, the Life Fruits had already undergone continuous transformations, constantly developing towards their mature form.

At this rate, the Life Fruits would likely mature in just three months. In just six months, new Baby Dragons would be born!

This was naturally the result of countless materials containing Life Force piling up.

This made Lu Fan even more convinced that his decision to help Dragon Country conquer Cherry Blossom Country had been the absolutely right choice.

Not only had he become Dragon Country’s Hero and gained the respect of Elder Jin and Elder Han, but more importantly, the promised compensation was truly being delivered by Dragon Country!

Elder Han had said that in the future, whenever similar materials were available, he would have them sent to Shadow Isle. This also included materials produced in Cherry Blossom Country.

With resources from two countries all converging onto Shadow Isle, the Life Dragon King could probably give birth to two or three offspring per year without any problem!

Before long, Shadow Isle probably could no longer be called Shadow Isle anymore. It would have to be called Dragon Isle.

Such massive material accumulation, besides allowing the Life Dragon King to exceed her theoretical ‘birthing’ quota, brought about another transformation: the Life Essence on Shadow Isle became even more concentrated. Simply being present on Shadow Isle increased Experience Point gain several times faster than before!

Take Lu Fan for instance. He just killed the Monsters on Shadow Isle, and had not even visited any Dungeon Instances. Yet, in one month’s time, he had risen a full 4 Levels, reaching Level 74!

As for Jian Ying and the others, following Lu Fan to kill Monster on the island, plus gaining Experience Points just by taking in the Life Essence in the atmosphere, each had risen more than 7 Levels. They were now all around Level 50.

Even if they did absolutely nothing and simply enjoyed themselves on Shadow Isle, in less than two months, they would be ready for their Third Profession Change.

Being able to Level Up so effortlessly was simply too wonderful.

Of course, Jian Ying and the others were not lazy people. They knew that no matter how high their Levels became, without fundamental strength, it was useless.

Therefore, they were very diligent in their daily routine, seeking out Monsters for one-on-one combat, continuously improving themselves through constant battle.

Now, although Jian Ying and the others were only second-year students, their strength had already exceeded a few teachers at Dragon Capital University.

At present, Cherry Blossom Country’s affairs had basically been concluded. So, Lu Fan need not worry about it anymore.

Simultaneously, materials containing Life Force from across Dragon Country had basically been swept clean. In the short term, no more materials would be transported here.

Lu Fan decided that now was the time to make a trip to the Far North and search for the Frost Dragon Ruins.

However, before heading to the Far North, Lu Fan still greeted Tu Jing first, and also had Ye Wuxian enquire at the Murong Family whether they had any fine wine he could bring along to present to Tu Jing later.

Lu Fan was well aware that Tu Jing had no particular hobbies. That battle-hardened man just loved having a drink or two.

What fine wine could there be in the Far North?

Since his journey was taking him to the Far North anyway, a greeting gift was essential.

…

Just as Lu Fan was preparing to depart for the Far North, in the Far North itself…

Tu Jing looked at the email on his computer and immediately burst into hearty laughter.

“That young man is quite thoughtful/ He actually wants to come have a look at the Far North! Moreover, he even said he’d bring me two bottles of fine wine! Not bad, not bad at all!”

Saying this, Tu Jing closed the computer and looked towards the mountain of documents piled beside him, his expression gradually becoming solemn.

“His strength now should be enough. He’d make an excellent ally. The Blood Moon’s Owner’s condition is becoming increasingly unstable. Every day, those who go to observe it discover reactions different from before. It’s probably only a matter of time before it truly awakens.”

“When Lu Fan arrives, I need to take him to have a look at the Blood Moon’s Owner…”
