I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 599: 582 Beastman AcademyChapter 599: Chapter 582 Beastman Academy

Taiger had completely trusted Mu Ying, but on the other hand, he somewhat regretted having to leave.

He couldn’t help it; following her, he learned many new things every day, always ate his fill, and occasionally got to enjoy that incredibly delicious roasted meat.

However, when they saw her going out alone at night and standing in the wilderness all night long, Taiger and the others understood the importance of nature to her.

Through her teaching, they also came to understand what nature was and started to feel both gratitude and reverence for it.

She worked tirelessly, teaching them during the day and transforming the wilderness at night to restore the land that had been overly exploited by their Beastmen into fertile ground, all to protect nature, right?

The education of the other Beastmen naturally became a priority sooner rather than later.

Although the Beastman tribes did not interfere with each other, they maintained a relatively friendly alliance, and since the Tiger Clan Beastmen had such an opportunity, they couldn’t forget about others.

So, although he was extremely reluctant, Taiger bade farewell to Mu Ying, taking the young and middle-aged Beastmen of his tribe to venture deep into the wilderness in batches.

After Taiger and his group left, Mu Ying started preparing for the arrival of other Beastmen.

Even though she didn’t know how many would come in the end, it was always right to build some stone houses first.

Walls created by the Stone Wall Skill were just like real stone walls, which could simply be disappeared by using Magic Dispel if no longer needed.

While building, Mu Ying suddenly had an idea; since she planned to gather representatives from all the tribes at this spot for education, why not simply build a Beastman Academy here?

She quickly adjusted the layout.

In the end, the Planting College, Breeding College, and Universal Language College were established in a triangular formation, surrounding the dormitory area at the center, with the triangle expanding outward.

The Planting College expanded into the fields reserved for future educational experimentation, whereas the Breeding College was expanding into the areas where the beast cages would be set up, and the Universal Language College extended into a series of stone slabs surrounded by fixed sandpits, specifically for writing practice.

The dormitory area in the center comprised a cluster of stone houses and was designated for Beastmen to live in.

Additionally, after understanding the learning characteristics and habits of the Beastmen, she started to compile textbooks for the Beastman Academy.

Having textbooks as a reference template, even when she was gone and the Beastmen encountered difficulties or forgot what she taught, they would have a place to find answers.

Now, as the little Beastmen and elders of the Tiger Clan tribe were learning from her from early on, Mu Ying taught them with extra care, also planning for them to act as teachers to aid her with future students.

Everything was proceeding in an orderly fashion.

More than two months later, on a bright afternoon, at the east side of the beast cages of the Tiger Clan Beastmen in the Breeding College, near the cowshed’s fence, a row of fluffy heads each bearing the character “King” were all holding their breath, intently watching the cow inside the shed giving birth.

Mu Ying and two of the best Beastmen specializing in bovine midwifery assisted the cow with the delivery.

This knowledge was what she had learned previously at the Breeding Camp, and now she was passing it on to them.

Although the techniques were somewhat rough, the cow was of good breed, very healthy, so they didn’t need to do much.

“It’s born, it’s born!”

As the calf was born, all the Tiger Clan Beastmen watching from the fence screamed in joy.

This was the first naturally birthed calf in their cattle barn!

Mu Ying was infected by their joy and couldn’t help but smile; this little calf was raised by them from breeding.

The pregnancy period for this type of cow was also very short, about two to almost three months before giving birth.

Moreover, today was not just about this piece of good news, “Hu Meng, Taiger and the others are back. You should go to the front gate of the academy to welcome them; otherwise, they might not be able to find where we are.”

“Yes!” Hu Meng dashed out quickly.

At the entrance of the Beastman Academy, Taiger and several robust Tiger Clan Beastmen, along with a large group of beastmen of various forms, reached the academy’s gate.

He hesitated as he looked at the four characters of Universal Language on the arch-shaped gate, “Beastman...”

What was the rest? He couldn’t recognize it.

Every day he was away, he thought about returning, but upon actually returning, he almost felt like he didn’t recognize the place.

“Chief!” Hu Meng arrived just in time. Before he even approached, his excited voice rang out: “Chief, you’re back! The Lord of Wisdom asked me to welcome you. Everyone else is at our tribe’s beast cage. Just now, the first calf was born in our beast cage!”

“What? A calf was born?” Taiger was extremely surprised.

Before he left, the Lord of Wisdom had just placed the breeding cattle in the cage, and now a calf was born?

“Let’s go, let’s go check it out!” Taiger, eager to see, stepped forward but then remembered the other clan beastmen behind him: “Come with us, I’ll take you to meet the Lord of Wisdom!”

Under Hu Meng’s lead, the group made their way through the academy toward the beast cage.

“Hu Meng, how did this place become like this?” Taiger asked as he looked at the solid stone paths and the lush flowers and plants nearby, as well as the numerous stone houses.

“The Lord of Wisdom said that since we are educating the various clans of beastmen, we might as well build a Beastman Academy here; it was all built by the hands of the Lord of Wisdom,” Hu Meng spoke with deep admiration. Catching a glimpse of a white paw stretching toward the roadside grassland, he immediately cautioned, “That Rabbit Clan friend there, this is the academy’s green belt, don’t eat!”

The fluffy little paw swiftly retracted, the caught stealth-eating Rabbit Clan Beastman: Ծ‸Ծ!

Other representatives of the Sheep Clan and Deer Clan held back their restless hearts.

The Niu Clan representative, breathing heavily, asked, “What is a green belt? And there are grasses that we can’t eat?”

“The Lord of Wisdom said the academy shouldn’t be bare; it must have flowers, plants, and trees to beautify it, which is more conducive to relaxing our minds and bodies after studying. Thus, areas outside the buildings and pathways were turned into green belts. If you eat it, the academy will become ugly. This is everyone’s academy, and everyone should cherish it.

If you guys want to eat, go to the experimental fields at the Planting College; the Lord of Wisdom has already planted some vegetables and fruits suitable for you herbivorous beastmen to eat there, and those plants are also study models for your planting classes,” Hu Meng explained.

Knowing that the directions were given by the Lord of Wisdom, the other Tiger Clan beastmen voluntarily walked on the sides of the group, protecting the newcomers in the middle to prevent them from impulsively damaging the hard work of the Lord of Wisdom.

Thanks to their protection, no further mishaps occurred along the way.

However, the image of the Lord of Wisdom grew taller in the hearts of the newly arrived beastmen.

The plant-eating beastmen, seeing the tantalizing green belt beside them, would no longer doubt the Lord of Wisdom’s ability to satisfy their hunger, as only someone could cultivate so many delicious plants in the wilderness.

The carnivorous beastmen were even tired of hearing from the Tiger Clan about their Lord of Wisdom miraculously conjuring three cows out of thin air, teaching them language, instructing them on how to preserve meat they couldn’t finish, and even teaching them how to make especially delicious roasted meat.
