Chapter 591 - 574: Enhancing Strength
Chapter 591: Chapter 574: Enhancing Strength

Mu Ying pondered that since there was a hierarchy of strength within each Beastman Tribe, could she exploit this by first subduing the strongest Beastman Tribe and then having them ”persuade” the other tribes to proactively send people to learn?

This way, she wouldn’t have to run around everywhere and could save a lot of time.

Mu Ying quickly made a decision and started focusing on the more powerful Beastmen detailed in the ”Beastman Civilization Guide.”

In the natural world, if one were to talk about individual combat, the strongest animals were tigers and bears, followed by lions, leopards, and wolves.

Correspondingly, the strongest individual Beastmen were from the Tiger Clan and Bear Clan Beastmen.

The individual strength of the Bear Clan Beastmen was even slightly stronger than that of the Tiger Clan Beastmen.

Since Beastification Beastmen lived in tribes as a collective, the stronger the individuals, the more powerful the tribe naturally became.

However, despite being the strongest, the Bear Clan Beastmen had a more diverse diet, primarily herbivorous, which made their deterrent power much less than that of the Tiger Clan Beastmen among all the Beastmen.

”It looks like the Tiger Clan Beastmen are the most suitable for me to start with, or rather, to civilize!” Mu Ying turned to the page detailing information about the Tiger Clan Beastmen.

”It’s really fated,” Mu Ying remembered that the first Beastman Tribe she had encountered in the northern wasteland was that of the Tiger Clan Beastmen.

She had even hidden herself at the time to secretly probe a little!

The book stated that Tiger Clan Beastmen were born at Level 3, but their maximum level was only 10; reaching Level 10 was rare, most of them between Level 6 to 8, with very few surpassing Level 10.

This was a common situation among Beastification Beastmen, who were once slaves to the Gush Beastmen; their potential wasn’t all that great in the first place.

They primarily fought using their robust bodies and the innate weapons that came with their beastification traits. In some tribes with a higher degree of civilization, one might also find Beastmen who could use weapons.

However, based on what Mu Ying had seen before, the Beastmen who migrated to Deep Blue Star likely had not received any form of civilized education and were in a very primitive state because they only spoke Beastman Language and not Universal Language.

Now in the Multiverse, besides the Gush Beastmen, who else would learn Beastman Language?

Any race with a higher degree of civilization and its own language would learn both the native language and Universal Language from a young age.

Universal Language is not only the common tongue of the Multiverse, but it is also widely used throughout various universes and also in the Ten Thousand Worlds Trial.

The Tiger Clan Beastmen tribe that Mu Ying had previously observed not only lacked Beastmen who spoke Universal Language, but they also had no weaponry or equipment; their hunting relied on teeth and claws.

This was a good thing for Mu Ying; lacking weapons and equipment, only knowing the most primitive way of fighting, made them easier for her to deal with.

Tiger Clan Beastmen didn’t have Magic-like abilities like the Cold Deer, so they were purely close-range fighters.

Even if they were fast, Mu Ying now had Extraordinary Perception; no matter how fast they moved, she could catch their trajectory and dodge in time.

Looking at it this way, fighting the Tiger Men would be no problem for her at all.

Even if the leader of the Tiger Man tribe she had seen before was Level 10, Mu Ying was no longer the same person she was a year ago; she was now a Level 15 Druid. Even if she hadn’t started learning Level 8 Spells and hadn’t completed Level 7 Spells, as long as she kept her distance during combat, there would be no danger at all.

However, such a way of fighting could defeat the combative Beastmen but would hardly make them worship her from the bottom of their hearts and obey her commands.

Nonetheless, just threatening their lives to force them to follow her teachings on cultivation and pastoralism could still work, but they would need close supervision until they saw the benefits of their efforts, otherwise, they might run away.

What Beastmen worshipped most was someone physically stronger than themselves; powerful Magic was beyond their comprehension!

The ”Beastman Civilization Guide” highly recommends the method of conquering Beastmen through brute force, with barbaric fighting methods similar to the Beastmen’s own style of combat.

For Druids, it meant using the Wild Transformation into animal forms, and the effect of subduing was even better after winning in an animal form that matched the Beastman’s size.

If Mu Ying wanted to compel the Tiger Clan Beastmen to have other tribes’ Beastmen come for education, mere subduing wouldn’t suffice; she had to conquer them so that they would sincerely follow her commands.

This became quite a challenge, requiring her not only to fight face-to-face but also to abandon her preferred method of combat.

What was most crucial was that it wasn’t enough to just defeat the strongest in a Beastman tribe; she had to challenge the entire tribe.

To achieve the best effect, neither Gungun nor Da Ming could help her; it had to be her alone who stepped up.

Fortunately, Mu Ying could now use Wild Transformation five times a day, and if one animal form got severely injured, she could switch to another, effectively having five separate animal health bars.

After a day, all animal forms would return to their peak condition.

Moreover, with each level up, the strength of her Wild Transformation animal forms also improved significantly.

Theoretically, her strength in White Wolf and Brown Bear forms should be stronger than a Level 10 Tiger Clan Beastman, but whether she could perform as well as a close-combat specialist like the Tiger Clan Beastmen was uncertain.

Mu Ying wasn’t very confident; after all, her mastery over animal forms was not yet sufficient. Even though she had practiced with Draco and the others for a while, it wasn’t long enough, and there was bound to be a gap compared to the Tiger Clan Beastmen.

She had no choice but to further enhance her Wild Transformation ability.

It was a good opportunity to make full use of her five daily Wild Transformations. Currently, being able to use White Wolf and Brown Bear forms in combat wasn’t quite enough; she needed to learn three more to be adequately prepared.

But to fight against the Beastmen, she needed to choose animal forms that were of comparable size; large or medium forms with a strong physique and combat capabilities were the priority.

Since she was to fight Tiger Clan Beastmen, she had to learn the tiger form; additionally, the lion and leopard forms would be her choices.

With this arrangement, she could utilize five independent animal form health bars in a single battle, effectively giving her five lives, which would lessen the pressure of fighting multiple opponents.

At the moment, she happened to be in a familiar primeval forest, and she remembered that there had been wild tigers here before the apocalypse.

She commanded the Magic Flying Carpet to descend, landing in the woods, and cast the 5th Level Spell Inquire Nature.

This spell allowed her to become part of nature to gather information about the surroundings, including but not limited to the terrain, plants, animals, mineral deposits, bodies of water, inhabitants, the current state of the forest, or the general status of the natural environment.

After ten minutes, she had the information she needed.

The target wasn’t too far away, so she decided to use the 7th Level Spell Wind Control she had recently learned; she transformed into a gaseous state and flew toward the location where the tigers were known to roam.
