Chapter 593: Chapter 576 I Will Come Back

The Tiger Clan Beastmen watched as the White Wolf darted off in a billow of dust, their faces filled with question marks.

Where did that huge, half-dead brown bear go? How did it turn into a White Wolf?

Luckily, though not as huge as the Brown Bear, this White Wolf was still significantly more robust than an average wolf, and its nimble stature appeared to be exceptionally lean.

”Chase!”

The Tiger Clan Beastmen quickly pursued.

Running as a Brown Bear was not working, and being surrounded made it very passive, causing her immense pain, but now, in her White Wolf Form, Mu Ying thought, she could finally evade the Tiger Clan Beastmen’s encirclement.

However, she was aiming to defeat them, not to flee. After breaking out, she started looking for opportunities to counterattack, employing hit-and-run tactics to ensure she wasn’t surrounded while looking for chances to bite them back.

Mu Ying’s combat control and skills in her White Wolf Form were the strongest among all her animal forms.

Having grown up with a wolf pack, she was steeped in their ways. When she first learned the White Wolf Form, Da Hui and the others even took her hunting, and it was her first Wild Form.

She was confident in her White Wolf Form and thought it could last longer than the Brown Bear Form.

Indeed, as she predicted, the White Wolf Form lasted longer than the Brown Bear Form, but only by a little.

The difference was that, as a Brown Bear, Mu Ying was immediately surrounded and attacked, with the Tiger Clan Beastmen not having to think at all. Only the few who rushed at the front got scratched by her, getting slightly injured.

In her White Wolf Form, Mu Ying managed to move around a bit, and it took the Tiger Clan Beastmen some thought to surround her. They then seized the chance to tighten their circle, and Mu Ying only managed to injure a few Beastmen while trying to break out.

When she was genuinely surrounded and attacked, she fell faster in her White Wolf Form than in her Brown Bear Form, simply because the White Wolf Form wasn’t as durable as the Brown Bear Form.

Before her blood volume dropped to zero, Mu Ying once again transformed, this time into a Tiger Form, reviving with full health and starting with a roar.

Tiger Clan Beastmen: ”!!!”

My god, their White Wolf turned into a tiger!

A tiger’s not bad either, its meat is even more plentiful!

As for the fact that they and the tiger share similar physical features and a deep connection, it was not an issue at all.

Beastman Beastman, it’s the ”man” that counts.

The tiger still remained on their menu.

This time, Mu Ying fell even faster.

The running speed in her Tiger Form was slightly slower than in her White Wolf Form, she didn’t get far before the main force caught up to her.

As her Tiger Form was nearing death, she switched to a Lion Form.

Once, twice, but not a third time. The Tiger Clan Beastmen had already experienced twice when their prey on the brink of death transformed, so the third change didn’t surprise them as much. They even preemptively strengthened their defense, encircling her to prevent an escape.

When she turned into a lion, the Tiger Clan Beastmen didn’t stop their attack for a moment.

This time, Mu Ying’s breakout was even more difficult. Fortunately, the Lion Form was faster than the Tiger Clan Beastmen. After breaking out, she learned from her previous experiences in her White Wolf Form, constantly ensuring that the Tiger Clan Beastmen couldn’t completely encircle her. She managed to hold on for a much longer time.

However, as her energy was largely depleted, her speed could no longer keep up, and she once again faced being surrounded.

In the end, she transformed into her Leopard Form, broke out and continuously harassed and attacked for a while. Feeling her energy significantly exhausted, just as she was about to face another encirclement, Mu Ying sprinted towards a direction away from the Tiger Clan Beastman Tribe, gaining a considerable distance. Only after a short time when she was no longer surrounded did she revert to her human form.

”That’s enough for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow!” After dropping this fierce declararation with the use of amplifier magic and startling a flock of birds in the woods, Mu Ying climbed up a tree, made several jumps, and then disappeared into the bushes.

In reality, she found a suitable spot and entered the Small World.

After fighting half the day and dead tired without catching any game, the members of the Tiger Clan Beastmen gazing at the jungle still echoing with Mu Ying’s taunts were nearly driven mad.

It was another day of going hungry!

At that moment, Mu Ying was munching on the fruit thoughtfully provided by the Gem Fairies, surrounded by fluffy comfort, while she replayed the day’s battle in her mind, occasionally jotting notes on Parchment.

After analyzing the battle, she went to the pasture to check on the livestock.

Near the mountainous forest where the Tiger Clan Beastmen resided, there was a large expanse of wasteland brought about by the influx of beastmen, which, if nourished, would be perfect for planting fast-growing pasture and raising cattle and sheep.

The Tiger Clan Beastmen had robust bodies and required more food, Mu Ying thought raising cattle would be more appropriate.

The cattle in her pasture were sourced from the Breeding Camp, originating from breeds pre-apocalypse which had evolved through the apocalypse.

Not only were they larger in size and better in meat quality, but their growth rate was also faster, maturing and ready for slaughter in about a year, with an average of two thousand pounds of meat per animal.

The Tiger Clan Beastman Tribe she encountered today, including the old, weak, sick, and disabled, comprised just over three hundred beastmen, with about two hundred of them being adults.

The Beastman Civilization Guide states that adult Tiger Clan Beastmen need twenty pounds of meat a day when well-fed.

Of course, the elderly and the cubs would not eat that much.

By this calculation, the tribe of Tiger Clan Beastmen would consume about three cattle a day, equating to nearly eleven hundred a year.

However, there was no need to prepare so many cattle to start with; the Tiger Clan Beastmen still had to learn the methods to expand their breeding scale effectively.

At the beginning, they would definitely need to maintain their sustenance through a combination of breeding and hunting, gradually reducing the frequency of hunting as the breeding scale expanded.

In time, with the use of Easy Fertility Potion for these breeding cattle, the herd’s reproduction rate would increase, and the cows would recover more easily after calving, allowing the cattle population to expand rapidly without the Tiger Clan Beastmen having to wait long.

After estimating roughly, she selected a few hundred head of breeding cattle intended for the Tiger Clan Beastman Tribe and isolated them in a separate area.

With the breeding cattle prepared, the pasture also needed regular attention. Once she had conquered the Tiger Clan Beastmen, it would be ready to serve its purpose.

Mu Ying then took her Magic Flying Carpet out to the nearby wasteland.

After surrounding herself with several super thick stone walls using the Stone Wall Skill, she began nourishing the land, and after it was enriched, she scattered a vast amount of fast-growing pasture seeds.

Once the beastmen learned the method of raising cattle, they would be able to breed on this land.

Later, she would teach the beastmen how to maintain the pasture and plant fast-growing pasture, allowing them to increasingly ameliorate what was originally barren wasteland, considering it concerned their food source.

This way, they would no longer need to migrate and overhunt wildlife, transitioning from merely extracting from nature to being self-sufficient and actively protecting their pasture environment—a win on multiple fronts.
