Chapter 578 - 561 Gungun’s Stubbornness 2.0
Chapter 578: Chapter 561 Gungun’s Stubbornness 2.0

It wasn’t even a week before Mu Ying and Da Ming were well in sync.

The final day was Da Ming’s official graduation day.

Mu Ying specifically posted a notice on the Territory Internal Network, announcing there would be performances and a red packet rain along the flight path in celebration of Da Ming’s graduation.

On the morning of that day, Mu Ying, holding Gungun and followed by six invisible Gem Fairies, with Little Stone biting on her pocket, hopped onto Da Ming.

Today the whole family was out to celebrate Da Ming’s graduation!

Da Ming, wearing a garland around his neck, held his head high and chest out, leading all the flying Griffins from the Breeding Camp into the sky.

Mu Ying pointed her staff towards the sky, and a firework spell burst above, lingering for a long time. The Griffin flock flew through it, and wherever they passed, there was a shower of red packets.

Afterward, they flew over the Public Farm Camp, Quarry Camp, Iron Refining Camp, Harbor Camp, Half-Breed Camp, Elf Camp, and finally the Main Territory.

This was Da Ming’s shining moment, as well as a carnival for the entire territory.

In the end, within the Main Territory, as a huge Griffin-shaped firework exploded in the sky, Mu Ying patted the feathers on Da Ming’s back, ”Da Ming, we are all proud of you!”

”jiu~~~” Da Ming let out a happy long cry!

After leading the Griffins back to the Griffin Shed, Da Ming carried his Master and little friends back to the family home in the Plantation.

They celebrated among themselves, and after filling up their bellies, they all lay down together on the thick grass to bask in the sun.

Mu Ying, surrounded by the little ones, couldn’t have been happier.

She squinted her eyes, stroking their fur while saying, ”Tonight after the trial, we can transform the Fragmented World. Tomorrow, we’ll move the Gem Tree and the Magic Hut into it, and the day after tomorrow, we all head to the Northwest.”

”Yeah!” The Gem Fairies clapped their little hands, ”The Mother Tree is in great shape lately, transplanting it won’t be a problem at all!”

”En, we have plenty of time. It’s our family’s first long trip, so we won’t take the Transmission Array. Da Ming will carry us; we can enjoy the journey along the way. Once we get to the Northwest and finish the rebirth day celebration of Luoxia Town, we’ll start working hard. At that time, Gungun and Da Ming, help me keep watch and protect me, and Little Peach Blossom, you guys help me restore the environmental ecology of the Northwest,” Mu Ying said.

”jiu!” Da Ming nodded confidently.

Mu Ying shook her head, ”I need to be on the ground to cast spells, so I can’t ride on you. You’ll be up in the sky then, flying high for a good view, just pay attention to keeping watch.”

Da Ming rubbed her hand with his head, ”jiu~”

Gungun looked dejected, its new Skill still in limbo.

Mu Ying gave a vigorous rub to the recently melancholic Fur Ball, ”Gungun, don’t put too much pressure on yourself, just grow up peacefully; the Skills you have now are already very useful, and we’re all proud of you!”

Gungun: (0~0)

It, Gungun, couldn’t lose! It must become stronger!

”?!!” Gungun suddenly sat up and nudged its Master.

”What’s wrong?” Mu Ying was about to pick it up and ask when her hands closed on air. She opened her eyes, ”Huh?”

Where did Gungun go?

She sat up looking around and spotted the black and white Fur Ball under a small berry tree in the distance.

”Why did you teleport over there?” Mu Ying called out, ”Come back!”

It wasn’t easy for her to have some leisure time to properly stroke her own Fur Ball, wasn’t it?

ε=( ́ο`*))) Huff!

Gungun stood with its hands on its hips, waving its little paws.

Then Mu Ying saw a blur of black and white, and Gungun was in front of her.

Mu Ying: ”!!!”.

It wasn’t teleportation?

She hurriedly opened the Player Manual and clicked on the animal companion’s attribute panel.

[Nickname: Yuan Gungun]

[Race: Iron-eating Beast]

[Stage: Youth Stage]

”Eh? Gungun, you’ve grown up? You’re not in infancy anymore?” Mu Ying said in surprise.

Gungun put his hands on his hips, looking very proud. Da Ming had already graduated, and although Gungun could be smaller in size, it couldn’t grow slower than Da Ming!

Mu Ying was unaware of its little scheming and continued to look down.

[Life Value: 100%]

[Talent: Feeding]

[Attributes: Strength 17, Constitution 18, Agility 9, Intelligence 7, Perception 7, Charm 15]

Constitution and Strength had increased by a point or two, which was quite good.

[Abilities: Emotional Connection, Loyalty, Fruit Pitcher, Enemy of Black Bread, Gungun’s Stubbornness, Gungun’s Stubbornness 2.0]

It had really awakened a new skill! And the name was almost the same as ”Gungun’s Stubbornness,” which could change body size.

Looking at the specifics of Gungun’s Stubbornness 2.0, Mu Ying fell silent.

[Gungun’s Stubbornness 2.0: Gungun will never admit defeat and must be the Master’s most adorable and powerful companion! From now on, I’m as fast as lightning. The Master won’t have to worry about me being too slow to outrun enemies and getting my butt kicked! Whoosh whoosh whoosh~]

This was very peculiar. She was now quite convinced that Gungun was indeed a stubborn panda with a full sense of competitiveness, deeply in love with her as its Master. Look at this skill introduction; sigh, it’s all for vying for affection in front of her.

Mu Ying felt a tinge of melancholy. There was no helping it. With more little ones at home, and her being such a good ”mother,” it was inevitable that her children would vie with each other in secret.

Fortunately, it was all healthy competition, and as their ”old mother,” she felt deeply gratified.

”Gungun, grow big and give me a run!” Mu Ying said.

With a whoosh, Gungun transformed to his full size.

After Mu Ying climbed on, she seasonedly cast a wind-proof magic on herself, and Gungun took off like an arrow released from a bow, at a startling speed.

Mu Ying felt the speed, which was much faster than her running on her own.

Gungun carried her, running at top speed around the plantation’s grass field ten times before coming to a stop, panting heavily, little sturdy legs trembling.

As soon as Mu Ying got down, Gungun lay flat on the ground, completely exhausted.

It seemed that the skill’s burst power was good, but the endurance was average.

However, with a slightly slower speed, it should be able to last longer, and the speed was already quite fast.

It was just like the skill introduction described; she no longer had to worry about Gungun having short legs, running slow, and being afraid to bring it into battle.

With this skill, Gungun had made up for its last weakness. It could run, fight, take hits, and taunt. It was not only a high-quality mount but also a high-quality combat companion!

”Gungun, we should also train later on. With Da Ming helping me in aerial combat and you on the ground, we’re set!” Mu Ying hugged and kissed it twice, her own kid was just amazing!

Gungun, who had been feeling down for these past days, finally cheered up and glanced smugly at Da Ming.

Look, the Master still loved it the most. It was the Master’s most fierce kid! It could grow big or small, act cute, and be very helpful! The Master simply couldn’t do without it!

Mu Ying was also overjoyed. From then on, she would be a woman riding a panda into battle for real!

Riding a griffin in the sky, riding a panda on the ground. Who else could be as cool as her?

Hips firmly planted first~
