I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 579 - 562 Fragmented World
Chapter 579: Chapter 562 Fragmented World

At nine o’clock in the evening, Mu Ying finished her trial in the World of Gods. With a few minutes left of today’s Trial Time, she entered Square World and transformed all the resources collected by the villagers today into Source Power.

[Source Power: 100184/116384]

Her Source Power officially broke through 100,000.

She opened the information interface of the Village Chief Seal.

[Village Chief Seal/World Core]

[Functions: 1. Control the resource refreshment of Square World; 2. Control the souls of villagers in Square World.]

[Physical Conversion: 100,000 Source Power/occasion]

[Physical Introduction: A Fragmented World containing 50 Original Souls]

[Source Power Conversion: Non-convertible]

The Village Chief Seal could only be converted once, and the physical conversion wouldn’t affect the use of this Village Chief Seal in Square World.

Mu Ying, without any concerns holding her back and having long-awaited this moment, immediately chose to convert.

The Source Power she had saved up for several years was spent like flowing water, leaving her with only 184 points.

Afterward, she returned to her cave, lay down on the Single Bed where she usually parked the body of her trial character from Square World, and ended today’s trial.

The moment her consciousness returned, Mu Ying felt a tremor in her heart as if something had torn through the void and established a connection with her—a sensation suddenly appeared in her heart or perhaps it was her mind, an awareness of a specific location.

It was a tiny sphere, with mountains, rivers, plains, Snow Mountains, deserts, and more—all of it, even if each terrain was not extensive, but indeed it was comprehensive.

There were wild grasses and flowers everywhere, expanses of apple forests, oak forests, Birch Forests, and redwood forests; among the woods roamed pink, tender pigs, white chickens, as well as flocks of sheep and herds of cattle.

Even the high mountains were showing rocks mixed with black coal mines.

Mu Ying found it all too familiar!

Apart from not being the pixel mosaic art style, and lacking villagers and villages, this place was practically identical to Square World!

Actually, villagers were present; Mu Ying sensed that at the core of the sphere, there were fifty white energy bodies drifting.

Those must be the fifty Original Souls.

However, Mu Ying could only sense their existence; she had yet to utilize their ability.

Mu Ying hadn’t expected the Fragmented World she converted to have such a close connection to her.

The Half-plane Grandpa Shom told her about before was quite different from her current Fragmented World.

Grandpa Shom’s control power over his Plantation Half-plane was much weaker than hers.

This might also be related to the fact that his Half-plane was found by him in reality, whereas Mu Ying’s was converted from the Ten Thousand Worlds Trial.

Grandpa Shom used some method to seal off the entire Half-plane, leaving only a passage for himself, turning the Half-plane into his possession; but when he was not in the Half-plane, he could only sense whether someone broke through his seal and trespassed, unable to ”see” the flora and fauna within the Half-plane.

Moreover, in Grandpa Shom’s words, Half-planes and Fragmented Worlds were more or less the same.

The ”instances” that the various races brought to Deep Blue Star when they migrated were Fragmented Worlds or Half-planes.

However, their landscapes and terrains are very monotonous. The Mushroom Man has underground caverns, the mermaid has the seabed, and the Half-Breed has forests, and they are all on a single plane.

Unlike her Fragmented World, it’s a small sphere with complex terrains and topographies that are almost like a Life Planet.

Yes, a super-miniature version of a Life Planet, just smaller in size and with fewer species.

Even if she isn’t physically there, her spiritual power can probe any location within the Fragmented World.

She could also create a temporary or permanent passageway from the outside world to the Fragmented World, allowing her to enter at any location, akin to having a Transmission Array, which is very convenient.

Moreover, to enter this world, one must have her permission; without it, others cannot enter or even discover its existence.

With such diverse terrains and topographies, there are numerous plants that can be cultivated, fulfilling various growth environments while ensuring safety. This is indeed the most perfect Plantation, almost like a Small World.

She stopped calling it the Fragmented World, as the term ”fragment” seemed a bit inauspicious. She decided to just call it the Small World.

Mu Ying was extremely satisfied; the one hundred thousand Source Power was well spent!

She didn’t feel like sleeping anymore and teleported into the Small World, appearing on the top of a high mountain where she gazed around.

The hemisphere she was now in was experiencing daylight.

The Small World had its own little sun and little moon. Unlike the outside world, the daylight in the Small World lasted only 6 hours, which meant that, if one were to consider a day as a cycle of day and night, a day in the Small World would only be 12 hours long.

A day would pass on the outside, but the Small World would experience two days.

The flow of time was still the same, just that the rise and setting of the sun and moon were significantly faster.

Mu Ying took out her flying broom and rode it down towards the apple forest below.

The apple trees here looked a lot like those in Square World, even the fruiting rate was about the same – no more than three apples per tree, but each one was red and plump, and they weren’t square-shaped anymore.

She used Biological Recognition to examine the tree.

”Red apple tree, a perennial woody plant, evergreen in all seasons. Each tree can bear three fruits at the same time, continues to fruit until there are three, then stops until they are picked. The fruits can mature on the tree without rotting, remaining fresh indefinitely. Every fruit has a growth period of thirty full days and nights. The fruit is edible, sweet-tasting, providing a good sense of satiety, and can effectively replenish a small amount of energy and spiritual power.”

”!!!”

The effects of the trees in this Fragmented World were the same as in Square World!

However, the apple tree saplings converted from Square World only produced ordinary apple trees! Those grown from them were no different from the apples in the real world – Mu Ying had converted some crops and fruit tree seeds from Square World when her Source Power became more plentiful, but indeed, they had nothing extraordinary.

How come the apple trees in the Fragmented World created by the Village Chief Seal could replenish energy and spiritual power?

Even though she couldn’t understand it, it didn’t prevent her from being happy; she essentially had a new specialty product!

If the apple trees were like this, what about wild rice, wild pumpkins, wild watermelons, pork, lamb, beef, chicken eggs, and chicken meat? Did they also have similar effects?

Mu Ying picked an apple and took a bite, her eyes lit up instantly: ”Delicious!”

The flavor was better than any apple she had grown in the outside world! Juicy and crisp, with low acidity and just the right amount of sweetness – the texture was truly great.

Perhaps because she was an Elf and naturally full of vigor, she currently wasn’t very tired, so the effects of replenishing energy and spiritual power weren’t very noticeable to her.

It seems she must find someone with inadequate energy and spiritual power to truly test the effects.
