Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 148: Chapter 122: Pisces Duo, Invincible in Battle

Wang Chao, who had fled, arrived at the postdoctoral building. Standing at the door of his Big Bro Yu Hong’s dorm room, he was about to knock when he suddenly heard a loud explosion from inside.

Did Big Bro fail another experiment? I hope he wasn’t blown to bits; otherwise, I won’t have anyone to help me settle the score with that punk Zhao Rong.

Just as Wang Chao was about to knock again, Yu Hong burst out of the room. The moment he was out, he collapsed onto the ground. Lying there, he gasped, ”Damn it! The experiment failed again. My lungs feel like they’re about to burst from all that gas.”

Seeing his brother on the ground struggling to breathe, Wang Chao was stunned. ”Big Bro, are you all right?”

Noticing his underling had come to find him, Yu Hong clutched his chest, coughed, and said, ”You’re just in time. Quick, give me mouth-to-mouth and suck the poison gas out of my lungs...”

Hearing his Big Bro—who was hideous, dressed in tattered clothes, with fleas in his hair and aphids in his mouth—actually ask for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, Wang Chao couldn’t help but turn around and vomit for a bit. Then, looking back at Yu Hong, he said, ”Big Bro, if I suck out the poison for you, will you help me deal with someone?”

Hearing that Wang Chao only ever came to him for help with a fight, Yu Hong sighed. ”You punk. You never show up unless you need a favor. You suck the poison out first, and I’ll definitely help you fight.”

Hearing this, Wang Chao decided to tough it out. He vomited ten times, performed mouth-to-mouth to suck out the poison gas, and then promptly vomited another ten times.

With the gas removed from his lungs, Yu Hong stood up. He let out a long, deep breath and said, ”Tell me who crossed you. I’ll go beat him to a pulp.”

Seeing his Big Bro was willing to stand up for him, Wang Chao wailed, snot and tears streaming down his face. ”Big Bro, you don’t know what happened! A new security guard at our school not only stole my girlfriend, Wang Meili, but he also beat me up...”

Hearing that a mere security guard dared to beat up his underling and steal his woman, Yu Hong immediately exploded. ”Damn it! There’s a security guard in this world that ballsy? Daring to steal a Ph.D. student’s woman? Take me to him. Watch how I, a postdoc, put him in the ground.”

With that, Yu Hong the postdoc had Wang Chao the Ph.D. student lead him to Zhao Rong.

Wang Chao looked at Yu Hong and swallowed nervously. ”Big Bro, since we’re going to fight, you should at least change your clothes first. Otherwise, people will think I hired a beggar to be my muscle.”

At this, Yu Hong glanced down at his clothes, which had indeed been blown to tatters by the explosion. He sighed. ”Wang Chao, hang on. I’m going inside to change into something more impressive. I need to give that punk security guard a visual shock-and-awe treatment.”

With that, Yu Hong went back into his room to change. As Wang Chao waited by the door, he thought to himself:

Even though Big Bro is a postdoc, he looks pretty terrifying once he puts on some street clothes.

A moment later, when Yu Hong emerged in his ”impressive” outfit, Wang Chao was so startled that he fell flat on his back. He looked at his brother in disbelief. ”Big Bro, you’re wearing a middle school uniform and carrying a backpack. Are we going to a fight?”

Yu Hong shot Wang Chao a glare. ”What the hell do you know? This is the classic entrance uniform for our Pisces Duo. Whenever the Pisces Duo is about to take someone out, we put on our battle gear.”

Saying this, Yu Hong made a call and summoned another postdoc, Yu Gang.

Yu Gang looked quite a bit like Yu Hong. Both were young but already balding, and both wore thick, black-framed glasses with lenses thicker than the bottom of a beer bottle.

In front of Wang Chao, Yu Hong and Yu Gang struck a classic pose and declared in unison, ”Wherever the Pisces Duo goes, a river of blood is sure to flow...”

Wang Chao was filled with confidence. With Yu Hong at level twenty-four cultivation and Yu Gang at level twenty-three, taking out some measly security guard will be a piece of cake.

Thus, Wang Chao led the Pisces Duo toward the school’s security office.

Meanwhile, Zhao Rong had successfully smoothed things over between Wang Meili, Miss Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian. Considering it a job well done, he and the Security Captain headed toward the security office on the north side of campus.

As the two were nearing the school’s athletic field, they spotted a man in a janitor’s uniform hiding in the bushes, lying on the ground peeking at the skirts of passing female students. Seeing the pervert, the Security Captain was the first to charge in. He yanked the man out of the bushes and gave him a sound beating.

When Zhao Rong saw that the man being thrashed by the captain was none other than his assistant, he was shocked. He rushed forward to pull them apart and demanded, ”Assistant, what are you doing lying here?”

Realizing he’d been caught, the assistant scrambled for an excuse. ”Zhao Rong! Captain! You’ve misunderstood! I was lying in the bushes to secretly protect Miss Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian!”

Hearing the assistant shamelessly try to cover up his despicable behavior, Zhao Rong snapped his fingers at the captain. ”Captain, just pretend I’m not here. Carry on.”

Hearing this, the Security Captain grabbed the assistant and resumed the beating.

Only after getting beaten again did the assistant finally confess. ”Big Bro Zhao Rong! Captain! I was wrong! I shouldn’t have been so sneaky, thinking no one would see me hiding in the bushes to peep at pretty girls’ skirts... I swear, I’ll never do anything like this again!”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong forgave the assistant. He looked at him and said, ”If you get the urge, find a few videos and take care of business in the bathroom. Don’t come out here and cause trouble.”

The assistant replied with a pained expression, ”Big Bro Zhao Rong, you don’t understand. For some reason, the videos on my phone won’t open anymore.”

Zhao Rong looked at his assistant, then handed over his own phone. ”Just because you’re out doesn’t mean I am...”

As he spoke, he gave the phone to the assistant. The assistant took it, drool dripping from his mouth and his tongue hanging out, and excitedly rushed toward a nearby restroom.

When the Security Captain saw how desperate the assistant was, he couldn’t help but sigh in sympathy for Zhao Rong. ”You’re such an outstanding guy. How did you end up with an assistant like this? He’s practically an animal in heat.”

Zhao Rong explained, ”The assistant used to be fine; he could control himself. But ever since he was entranced by the Serpent Woman Medusa’s fragrance, he’s become uncontrollable. His brain has been addled by lust, completely ruled by his desires...”

As Zhao Rong and the Security Captain were waiting for the assistant to emerge from the restroom, Wang Chao, the Ph.D. student, arrived with the postdoctoral Pisces Duo.

Seeing Zhao Rong near the bushes, Wang Chao leaped in first, arrogantly demanding, ”You little security guard! You dare to steal my woman?”

Seeing Wang Chao, Zhao Rong was taken aback for a moment before warning him, ”Young man, don’t make baseless accusations. What do you mean I stole your woman? I’m telling you, I didn’t steal anyone from you. It’s just that Wang Meili’s mother wants her to marry me.”

This made Wang Chao even more furious. Spittle flew from his mouth as he yelled, ”Damn it, you’re about to marry Wang Meili and you still say you didn’t steal her from me? You’re asking to die!”

Seeing how aggressive Wang Chao was, Zhao Rong frowned. ”Wang Chao, let me tell you, don’t get ahead of yourself. You might say Wang Meili is your woman, but she told us she’s never been interested in you. Please stop harassing her.”

Hearing this, Wang Chao felt deeply humiliated. He beat his chest and stomped his feet. ”Zhao Rong, you’re just a pathetic security guard! How could you possibly be a match for an undergraduate like Wang Meili? Only a Ph.D. student like me is worthy of her! Zhao Rong, I’m warning you, you’d better stay far away from Wang Meili. Otherwise, I, Wang Chao, won’t be so courteous.”

Hearing the threat, Zhao Rong let out a cold laugh. ”Not only will I not stay away from her, I think I might just get a little closer.”

The Security Captain stepped in to defend Zhao Rong. ”What’s wrong with being a security guard? Love doesn’t care about degrees. As long as two people love each other, that’s all that matters. Don’t think so highly of yourself.”

Wang Chao was so enraged he nearly choked. He took a step back and shouted, ”Pisces Duo! Get rid of Zhao Rong and this security captain!”

At his command, the Pisces Duo leaped into the bushes, struck an impossibly cool pose, and chanted, ”The Pisces Duo is invincible! Where we go, not even a blade of grass survives!”

When Zhao Rong saw the two balding men with patchy beards dressed like middle schoolers appear before him, he couldn’t hold back a laugh.

The Security Captain also stared at the bizarre pair and burst out laughing. ”Where’d you dig up these two clowns? This is hilarious.”

Seeing the Pisces Duo he’d brought being looked down upon, Wang Chao immediately boasted, ”My Big Bro, Yu Hong, is a level-twenty-five cultivator, and my second bro, Yu Gang, is level twenty-four! Taking you two security guards down will be no problem at all!”

Hearing that the two unimpressive-looking men were both cultivators above level twenty, Zhao Rong and the Security Captain instinctively took a step back.

”Whoa,” Zhao Rong said, sensing the power coming from the two men in middle school uniforms. ”I didn’t see that coming. These guys really are cultivators above level twenty.”

The Security Captain’s face turned pale with fear. ”Zhao Rong, a single level-twenty cultivator would be enough to kill us, let alone a duo at levels twenty-five and twenty-four! We have to run!”

Just as Zhao Rong and the captain were realizing how formidable the Pisces Duo was, the assistant, having finished his business, emerged from the restroom looking relaxed and content.

He strode forward, looked at the Pisces Duo, and said, ”You two middle schoolers! How dare you run wild in a university! Watch me teach you a lesson!”

With that, the assistant snatched a brick from the ground and charged at the Pisces Duo.

When Zhao Rong saw his assistant, whose cultivation was less than level ten, trying to attack a duo of cultivators over level twenty, he quickly shouted a warning, ”Assistant, these two aren’t ordinary people! You’d better not rush in!”

The assistant completely ignored Zhao Rong’s advice.

What’s there to be afraid of with these two middle schoolers? I’m in a great mood today, and I feel like showing off. This is a perfect chance to bully the weak and teach these two roadblocks a lesson. I guess this will be my first official fight since coming to Xijing University.

With that thought, the assistant disregarded Zhao Rong’s warning, gripped the brick tightly, and charged forward.
