Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 139: Chapter 114: Catching Someone in the Boudoir_2

At that moment, the assistant suddenly remembered he had gone to the bathroom earlier because he needed to take a dump, but he had forgotten all about it after the beating from Zhao Rong. Now, his stomach was churning violently.

Helpless, he walked back to the bathroom door and said, ”Ladies, could you wait a bit longer? I... I didn’t finish my business earlier...”

After speaking, the assistant was about to enter the bathroom, but then he had a second thought. Zhao Rong is hiding in there. If I go in and make a stink, he’ll surely beat me up again.

So, the assistant decided to hold it in. He would rather soil his pants than go into the bathroom and get beaten up again by Zhao Rong.

Seeing the assistant declare he needed the bathroom only to suddenly change his mind, Xuelian spoke up. ”Sisters, since the assistant isn’t using the bathroom anymore, let’s head back. We shouldn’t disturb Tao Hua’s rest.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong, who was hiding in the bathroom, rejoiced. Thank heavens, you’re finally leaving! Once you’re gone, I can get back to it with Tao Hua... I must make it eight times...

However, before Zhao Rong could even finish his thought, Lili suddenly sprawled out on Tao Hua’s large bed. Feeling the comfort, she said, ”If you want to go back, go ahead. I’m tired, and Tao Hua’s bed is so big and comfortable. I think I’ll just crash here for the night.”

Yu Lan, standing beside her, chimed in, ”Going back to the dorm means heading down the mountain. It’s dark and the road is bad. It’s much better to stay in Tao Hua’s room for the night.”

Hearing that Lili and Yu Lan wanted to stay over, Tao Hua felt her head spin. Looks like Brother Zhao Rong will have to hide in the bathroom all night, she thought.

Inside the bathroom, Zhao Rong nearly fainted. He lamented inwardly, Why is it so damn hard to give away my first time? Am I truly cursed by the Lonely Star of Calamity, doomed to hide in a room for the rest of my life, watching films with only my left hand for company?

The night was long and torturous. The four beauties slept soundly on the comfortable bed while Zhao Rong suffered in the bathroom, waiting. The assistant sat on the cold floor outside the door, also waiting for daylight.

In the middle of the night, while the four beauties were fast asleep, Zhao Rong secretly slipped out of the room and sprinted toward the dormitory at the foot of the mountain.

Just then, the assistant woke up. Seeing Zhao Rong heading down the mountain, he called out hastily, ”Brother Zhao Rong, take me with you! Let’s go down together, I’m scared of ghosts...” With that, he scrambled to follow Zhao Rong down the mountain.

Although things didn’t work out between Zhao Rong and Tao Hua, she sent him a deeply meaningful message on WeChat.

It read, ”Brother Zhao Rong, there’s no such thing as a field that’s plowed to death, only an ox that dies of exhaustion... If you have time in the future, you can come over anytime, and we can...”

Seeing Tao Hua’s message, Zhao Rong was thoroughly satisfied. A true man must have a long-term perspective. As long as the green mountains remain, there’s no need to worry about firewood. Why get hung up on the gains and losses of a single night? With that thought, he lay down on his comfortable bed in the dormitory and fell asleep.

Early the next morning, the chairman’s Mercedes-Benz motorcade arrived to take the three beauties, Zhao Rong, and the assistant to Xijing University.

In the Mercedes-Benz van, the chairman first thanked Zhao Rong for protecting and caring for his daughter and her friends. He was genuinely pleased that Zhao Rong would continue to protect his daughter. With that said, the chairman immediately wrote a check for one million yuan and handed it to him.

Looking at the one-million-yuan check, Zhao Rong said sheepishly, ”Chairman, it hasn’t even been more than a month since you last gave me a check. Why are you giving me another one already?”

Zhao Rong was only feigning refusal out of politeness; it wasn’t that he didn’t want the money. However, the chairman completely misinterpreted his tact, assuming Zhao Rong thought the amount was too small.

So, the chairman immediately wrote another check for a million yuan and handed both to Zhao Rong. ”Zhao Rong, if this is still too little, I can write you another one. How about that?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong quickly accepted the two checks. ”Then it would be rude of me to refuse. Thank you, Chairman.”

Sitting nearby, the assistant saw the chairman give Zhao Rong two million yuan and was immediately overjoyed. I also protected and looked after the three beauties! If the chairman can give Zhao Rong two million, he should at least give me two hundred thousand, right?

Just as the assistant was fantasizing about his 200,000 yuan, the chairman had his female secretary give the assistant 20,000 yuan in cash. ”Assistant, although your presence is largely useless, and sometimes even counterproductive, I’m still giving you 20,000 yuan as a commendation.”

The assistant was unhappy with only 20,000, but he was still prepared to accept it. After all, some money was better than no money. But as he reached for it, he suddenly recalled Zhao Rong’s strategy. If Zhao Rong can turn one million into two million through a polite refusal, why can’t I try his tactic and turn twenty thousand into forty? he thought.

So, the assistant said pretentiously, ”Chairman, to be honest, I hardly protected Miss Lili at all, nor did I take much care of her... This 20,000 yuan, I think I’d better not accept it.” After he spoke, he chuckled to himself. When the Chairman sees how humble I am, he’ll surely double the money.

However, to the assistant’s surprise, the chairman was infuriated by his contrived and showy display. He had the secretary take back the 20,000 yuan. ”Damn it, there’s nothing I hate more in this world than a show-off! I gave you money out of respect, and you refused it? Fine, then! Do you think I’m made of money, or that I’m just an easy mark?” As he spoke, the chairman glared at the assistant and had the money taken back.

When the assistant saw that his attempt to imitate Zhao Rong had backfired spectacularly, he burst into tears. ”Chairman, I was wrong! It was a foolish attempt to copy my betters! Please, have a heart and give me the 20,000 you were about to give me!”

Hearing this, the chairman slapped him hard across the face. ”Damn it! People like you are utterly despicable! Can’t you learn a thing or two from Zhao Rong? Assistant, you’d better remember this: when you’re beneath others, see yourself as a person. When you’re above others, see them as people!”

With blood streaming from his nose after the slap, the assistant could only stare enviously at the two checks in Zhao Rong’s hand, his own heart bleeding with regret.

Soon, the Mercedes-Benz motorcade arrived at the entrance of Xijing University. The chairman had originally planned for Zhao Rong to attend classes with Lili. However, Zhao Rong felt that studying in a classroom every day was a tedious bore. He’d much rather be a security guard, free to wander around with plenty of spare time.

So, Zhao Rong shared his thoughts with the chairman. Upon hearing his reasoning, the chairman agreed it was a good idea. Since Zhao Rong was Lili’s bodyguard, disguising him as a school security guard would allow him to protect her at all times. The chairman immediately agreed to Zhao Rong’s request, allowing him to enter the prestigious Xijing University as a campus security guard. The assistant, meanwhile, would enter as a janitor to assist Zhao Rong in protecting Lili and the other two beauties.

And just as Zhao Rong, disguised as a security guard, entered Xijing University with the three young women, Young Master Fei, one of the school’s four notorious scions, was already at the school gate, drooling over Lili.

The four great scions of Xijing University were Young Master Fei, Young Master Yang, Young Master Ba, and Young Master Hu, a group known as the ”Arrogant and Unbridled” quartet. They ran rampant through the school, their bullying and mischief knowing no bounds.

Young Master Fei thought to himself, Tonight, I’m going to make this new girl mine...
