Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 137: Chapter 113: Please wait a moment, I am taking a shower.

After much deliberation, Zhao Rong decided that while he was still young, he should continue to strive and explore the world. Perhaps in the future, when he was old, he could settle down at the True Martial Sect, become its Sect Leader, and live a life of retirement.

With this in mind, Zhao Rong went to find Tao Hua. He planned to hand over the great seal of the True Martial Sect to her and explain his departure. He would be leaving with Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian tomorrow to enroll at West Well University.

By the time Zhao Rong arrived at Tao Hua’s room, perched on a cliff top of the True Martial Sect, it was already dark and moonless. He stood at the door and knocked.

Inside, Tao Hua was taking a bath. Hearing the knock, she hurriedly extinguished the lights in the room and called out, ”Who is it? Wait a moment, I’m taking a bath...”

Hearing that she was bathing, Zhao Rong paused. My timing is terrible, he thought.

As Zhao Rong waited by the door, Tao Hua suddenly emerged wrapped only in a bath towel. The sight of her made him swallow hard. Tao Hua usually wears the sect’s uniform, so I never realized she had such a great figure. But now, seeing her in just a towel... her body is simply superb. He stared at her chest, wanting to shout a single letter: ”E.”

Tao Hua smiled at him. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I’m the only one here. Come on in.”

Zhao Rong followed the towel-clad Tao Hua into the room. His eyes were glued to her snow-white back, her flawless skin, and the sway of her hips as she walked. He couldn’t hold back, and his nose began to bleed.

Once inside, Tao Hua poured him a cup of tea, saying, ”Brother Zhao Rong, have some tea.”

However, Zhao Rong politely refused. ”Tao Hua, I don’t know why, but I really feel like having a drink today... It would be great if you could join me.”

Tao Hua was taken aback. She knew Brother Zhao Rong rarely drank alcohol. Why the sudden urge today? She went to her refrigerator, pulled out a few bottles of beer, and asked, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I have Tsingtao. Is that okay?”

Seeing the beer, Zhao Rong thought, The alcohol content is too low. I’ll never get drunk on this... After a moment, he said, ”Tao Hua, my uric acid has been a little high lately, so I can’t drink beer. Do you have any hard liquor? Something strong would be best.”

Tao Hua blinked in surprise. ”Vodka? You’ll drink that?”

At the mention of vodka, Zhao Rong laughed heartily and nodded. ”Perfect! We’ll have the vodka.”

Tao Hua retrieved a bottle of vodka from the fridge. ”Brother Zhao Rong, this stuff is really strong. You have to take it easy...”

Hearing how strong it was, Zhao Rong was delighted. ”Don’t worry! I’m in a great mood today, so drinking a little extra won’t hurt...”

Hearing him say he was happy, Tao Hua asked curiously, ”What’s the happy occasion, Brother Zhao Rong? Can you share it with me so I can be happy too?”

At that moment, Zhao Rong was lost in a fantasy. We’ll both get drunk, and then after that... He blurted out, ”I’m leaving the True Martial Sect tomorrow...”

When she heard that his ”happy occasion” was leaving the sect, tears immediately welled up in her eyes. She looked at him, her voice thick with emotion. ”Brother Zhao Rong, don’t you feel any attachment at all to the True Martial Sect? To the place where you trained and fought?”

Zhao Rong instantly realized his mistake and quickly corrected himself. ”No, Tao Hua, you misunderstood me. I mean, I’m sad about leaving the True Martial Sect, but I’m happy about getting to go to West Well University...”

Hearing that her Brother Zhao Rong was leaving for a prestigious university tomorrow, Tao Hua’s expression turned sorrowful. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I understand. A man’s ambitions lie far and wide, and a small place like the True Martial Sect could never hold back a capable man like you. Water flows to lower ground, while people strive to climb higher. I just hope that no matter where you go, you won’t forget me...” As she spoke, tears began to stream down her face.

Seeing her cry, Zhao Rong quickly reached out to wipe away her tears and comfort her. ”Tao Hua, even though I’m leaving the True Martial Sect, West Well University isn’t far from here. I can come back and visit you anytime. And if you ever want to visit me at the university, you’re always welcome.”

Hearing his words, Tao Hua wiped her eyes and managed a smile. ”Brother Zhao Rong, if I miss you, I’ll definitely come see you.” With that, she threw herself into his embrace and hugged him tightly.

Held tightly by the towel-clad Tao Hua, Zhao Rong felt a surge of bliss. He wrapped his arms around her voluptuous form and said, ”Tao Hua, since I’m leaving, I’m handing the position of Sect Leader over to you. Be a good Sect Leader, manage the True Martial Sect well, and help it flourish.”

Tao Hua hugged him even tighter, nodding against his chest, unwilling to let go. ”I will. As long as you have me in your heart, Brother Zhao Rong, I’ll do anything you ask of me...”

Zhao Rong froze. She said she’ll do anything I ask... What does she mean by that?

While he was still puzzling over her words, Tao Hua suddenly planted a kiss on his cheek. ”Brother Zhao Rong, since you’re leaving tomorrow... stay here tonight. Don’t go.”

At her invitation, Zhao Rong’s blood surged. His heart pounded in his chest. ”Okay, Tao Hua,” he said, his voice husky. ”I’ll listen to you. I won’t leave.”

He glanced at his watch. It was already ten o’clock at night. He deliberately feigned a yawn and said, ”Tao Hua, it’s getting late. I’m feeling pretty sleepy.”

Hearing this, Tao Hua pointed to the large bed in her room. ”If you’re tired, then come to bed.”

The phrase ”come to bed” reminded Zhao Rong that just last night, he had secretly... I need to take a shower first, he thought. It wouldn’t be hygienic otherwise. He said to her, ”Tao Hua, you get in bed first and wait for me. I’m going to take a quick shower, and I’ll be right there.”

Tao Hua gave him a tender look before climbing onto the bed and letting her towel fall away.

Zhao Rong rushed into the bathroom. As he stripped, he thought, I’ve held it in for over twenty years. Tonight, I can finally let loose...

After undressing, he jumped into the shower, trying to be as quick as possible. However, the water heater in her bathroom was fickle, constantly alternating between hot and cold. He had to keep fiddling with the temperature, and it took him a full ten minutes to finish.

When Zhao Rong emerged from the bathroom, he saw Tao Hua lying on the bed like a flower bud ready to bloom. His nose started bleeding again as he slowly approached her...

I rested for most of the day, he thought. So I have plenty of energy for tonight. I can definitely go for eight rounds, right?

He was incredibly relieved that the other three girls didn’t know he had come to find Tao Hua. Otherwise, they would have definitely followed him, and his perfect opportunity would be ruined.

Just as he was chuckling to himself, a knock sounded at the door.

Zhao Rong froze. He looked at Tao Hua and hissed, ”Dammit! Who could be so clueless? Of all the times to show up, why now?”

Before he could finish speaking, a girl’s voice called from outside, ”Tao Hua, it’s Miss Lili. Is Brother Zhao Rong in your room?”

Hearing Lili’s voice, Zhao Rong’s face fell. How can I be this unlucky? Why does the thing I’m dreading always happen?

He frantically gestured for Tao Hua to tell them he wasn’t there. Tao Hua understood immediately and called out, ”Miss Lili, Zhao Rong isn’t here. You should try looking somewhere else.”

”But the assistant said he clearly saw Zhao Rong heading toward your room,” Yu Lan chimed in from outside.

Hearing the assistant mentioned again, Zhao Rong wished he could find the man and kick him to death. Why does he always have to ruin my fun?

Xuelian added, ”Sister Tao Hua, if Brother Zhao Rong isn’t in there, would you let us come in and sit for a bit? We’ve been looking all over, and we’re tired and thirsty...”

Saying that, the three women began to push the door. To her horror, Tao Hua realized she’d forgotten to lock it. As the door swung inward, she quickly pointed to the bathroom and whispered, ”Brother Zhao Rong, quick! Hide in there!”

Zhao Rong scrambled into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. In a single motion, Tao Hua kicked all of Zhao Rong’s clothes under the bed just as the three women burst into the room.

The sight of Tao Hua lying naked on the bed immediately aroused their suspicion. Lili looked at her narrowly. ”Little Sister Tao Hua, I seem to recall that you hate sleeping in the nude. So why no pajamas tonight?”

Tao Hua gave an awkward laugh. ”Oh, I just wanted to try sleeping differently. See if it helps me sleep better.”

Meanwhile, Yu Lan was sniffing the air as she searched the room. ”Sister Tao Hua, why is there a smell of a man’s sweat in your room?”

Zhao Rong tended to sweat a lot, so his scent lingered in the room. Thinking fast, Tao Hua explained, ”Little Sister Yu Lan, you’re smelling things. That’s the smell of my stinky socks from my shoe, not a man’s sweat.” As she spoke, she pulled a sock out of one of her shoes to show them.

Suddenly, Xuelian’s gaze fell on the bathroom door. ”Sister Tao Hua,” she asked curiously, ”the doors to your kitchen, study, and bedroom are all open. Why is only the bathroom door closed? Is someone in there?” As she spoke, she started walking toward it.

Seeing her approach the bathroom, Tao Hua said quickly, ”The bathroom gets too damp! I like to keep the bedroom dry, so I closed the door.”

But her answer didn’t convince them. Lili took a pair of scissors from her pocket. ”If we find Brother Zhao Rong in that bathroom,” she said, ”we’ll have to cut his...”

Yu Lan then pulled out a castration knife. ”Compared to scissors, this knife works better...”

Xuelian, however, brandished a pair of pliers. ”And compared to a knife,” she said, ”pliers have more... feel to them.”

With that, the three women, armed with scissors, a castration knife, and pliers, advanced on the bathroom.

Sitting on the bed, Tao Hua covered her eyes. Oh, no, she thought. Brother Zhao Rong is so screwed...
