Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 102: Chapter 86: Three Beauties Torture the Assistant_2

The assistant cried out in agony, ”Miss Lili, weren’t we supposed to be playing? Why are you hitting me for real?”

Hearing the assistant be so shameless, still thinking she wanted to *play* with a whip, Lili immediately struck him again. ”You’re too shameless! How could you fantasize about the three of us like that?”

Yu Lan then dripped some hot wax from a candle onto him. ”Assistant, even if every other man in the world dropped dead, the three of us still wouldn’t give you a second look.”

With that, Lili began her interrogation. ”Assistant, where did you meet Zhao Rong? Did Brother Zhao Rong go to Red Romantic to do anything improper?”

At the question, the assistant froze. He used every ounce of his strength to recall the events of yesterday and today, but after wracking his brain for a long time, he found that he couldn’t remember a single thing. Zhao Rong had given him an amnesia pill, making him completely forget everything that had happened.

Even though Lili was whipping him hard, the assistant could only say innocently, ”Miss Lili, I really have forgotten. I don’t remember anything Brother Zhao Rong did yesterday or today...”

Hearing the usually spineless assistant be so unexpectedly stubborn, Lili instructed Xuelian to bring a thinner, more painful whip. She turned to Yu Lan in surprise. ”The assistant is usually such a pushover. You don’t even need to hit him; just scaring him a little is enough to make him talk. Why is it that despite our severe torture today, he still insists he’s forgotten everything?”

Yu Lan was also puzzled. ”A goldfish’s memory only lasts for a few seconds, but a human’s memory is long. Even if the assistant’s memory is poor, he couldn’t possibly have forgotten what happened yesterday and today. I think he’s just being stubborn and putting on an act. He definitely knows what happened but refuses to talk.”

Hearing this, Lili nodded. ”So, Yu Lan, you’re saying we aren’t hitting him hard enough?”

Yu Lan nodded grimly. ”Exactly. For someone like him, who’s always trying to be clever and take advantage of small loopholes, we have to get tough.”

With that, Lili took the thinner, more painful whip that Xuelian handed her and unleashed a brutal beating on the assistant. His skin split open, his flesh was torn, and he screamed in agony. Yet, no matter how hard Lili whipped him, the assistant insisted that he had forgotten everything about yesterday and today.

After a long time, the three women grew tired and finally let the assistant down.

Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Lili said, ”Damn, this is so strange. In the past, a guy like the assistant would spill everything after a single lash. Why is he staying silent no matter how we beat him today? Could it be that Brother Zhao Rong really didn’t go to Red Romantic or that hostel in the alley?”

Yu Lan fanned herself. ”Exactly. The assistant has never been able to take a beating. If he still won’t confess after all this, it seems Brother Zhao Rong is truly innocent.”

Xuelian also agreed. ”Sisters, it looks like we’ve wrongly accused Brother Zhao Rong.”

Meanwhile, Zhao Rong, who was waiting by the door, thought with a sinking heart, It’s over. The assistant must have confessed everything. It seems my visits to Red Romantic, the alley, and meeting the village belle are all about to be exposed.

Just as Zhao Rong braced himself for a fierce scolding, or even a beating, the three women walked out.

Lili gently leaned on Zhao Rong’s shoulder and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I was wrong about you. You really didn’t go anywhere.”

Yu Lan also spoke apologetically. ”Brother Zhao Rong, from now on, we’ll trust you even if you go out to play with ten other women.”

Xuelian, full of guilt, added, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you are innocent. The fault lies with us three women for being overly suspicious and overthinking things.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong was startled. He said in utter amazement, ”Didn’t the assistant confess?”

Lili laughed. ”Confess what? Since you didn’t go to those kinds of places, there was nothing for the assistant to make up.”

Yu Lan suddenly grabbed Zhao Rong’s hand. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you did nothing wrong. The fault is entirely ours.”

Zhao Rong felt as if the sun had just risen from the west. However, when the three women helped the bruised and battered assistant out of the boiler room, he suddenly remembered giving him the amnesia pill.

He couldn’t help but blame himself, thinking, No wonder he wouldn’t confess, no matter how much they beat him. It turns out I gave him an amnesia pill, and he really did forget everything about yesterday and today.

So, Zhao Rong rushed over to hold the assistant. Looking at his battered state, he said guiltily, ”Assistant, this is all my fault. If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t have been beaten like this.”

The assistant managed a weak smile. ”Zhao Rong, it’s not that I wouldn’t confess. It’s just... as I get older, my memory keeps getting worse. I really couldn’t remember.”

With that, the assistant suddenly fainted.

Seeing the assistant faint while still trying to cover for him, Zhao Rong gently closed the man’s eyes, thinking, Assistant, it’s not that your memory is getting worse; you really did take my amnesia pill.

Just as Zhao Rong was carrying the assistant back to the dormitory to rest and recover, Fatty came running over. He looked at Zhao Rong in terror. ”Zhao Rong! Achilles is at the gate, kicking up a fuss and vowing to deal with you!”

Zhao Rong was taken aback. ”Damn it, who came up with such a pretentious name? Who the heck is this Achilles?”

Fatty swallowed hard. ”Zhao Rong, Achilles is the prodigy of the Wild Wolf Sect and their number one fighter.”

Hearing that someone from the Wild Wolf Sect was after him, Zhao Rong was puzzled. ”I have no quarrel with this Achilles. Why is he looking for me?”

Fatty looked awkward. ”Zhao Rong, did you forget? That time at the Red Romantic Bar, you single-handedly thrashed dozens of Wild Wolf Sect disciples and kicked them all out.”

Only then did Zhao Rong realize that the Wild Wolf Sect members he had beaten up before had come back for revenge.

At the same time, however, Lili looked at Zhao Rong in surprise. ”Brother Zhao Rong, didn’t you say you’ve never been to Red Romantic? How did you suddenly get into a fight there?”

Yu Lan chimed in, ”Yeah, Brother Zhao Rong, did you go to Red Romantic after all?”

Xuelian’s eyes widened in disbelief. ”Brother Zhao Rong, don’t tell me you gave your first time to... to a professional at Red Romantic?”
