Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 135: Chapter 111: Punching the Cow Over the Mountain_2

This large bell was known as the True Martial Sect Bell. It was the largest bell in the True Martial Sect, used not only for telling time but also as a warning signal.

Just as Zhao Rong severed the rope, the massive bell plummeted, trapping all the disciples squatting behind Mage Erzhen. When the onlookers saw that Zhao Rong had taken out all of Mage Erzhen’s disciples single-handedly right at the start of the fight, they all cried out in astonishment. A disciple with a ruddy nose said while picking it, ”Damn, Zhao Rong’s move was simply divine! He suppressed Mage Erzhen’s arrogance in just two moves.”

A True Martial Sect disciple with teeth as sharp as a rat’s exclaimed, ”Even though Zhao Rong spent his days fooling around before the duel, indulging in wine and women, he’s just that incredible. He doesn’t act unless he has to, but when he does, it’s enough to startle the heavens and move gods and ghosts!”

Seeing the disciples who were prepared to help him in secret now trapped by Zhao Rong under the massive bell, Mage Erzhen became so enraged that he stood up. He no longer cared about his image and prepared to fight Zhao Rong bare-assed. Mage Erzhen stood there shivering in the cold wind, completely naked, and said, ”Zhao Rong, you little rascal, you must have come prepared, otherwise, you wouldn’t have put me in my place so swiftly.”

Zhao Rong was dumbfounded to see that Mage Erzhen was actually going to fight him naked.

I’m wearing soft inner armor, a stab-proof vest, and a bulletproof vest. Wouldn’t fighting a man with no protection at all be bullying?

To prevent Mage Erzhen from cheating by throwing darts or something similar, Zhao Rong had deliberately worn a trench coat. Hidden underneath were the ultra-light soft inner armor, stab-proof vest, and bulletproof vest he had purchased online.

Looking at Mage Erzhen’s state, Zhao Rong couldn’t help but laugh. ”Old man, calling you a fool is an understatement. You thought I was out having fun, but I was actually cultivating like crazy. You thought I was drinking at bars, but I was actually training at the crack of dawn. You thought I was wandering through the mountains, but I was actually planning my strategy.”

Upon hearing this, Mage Erzhen’s eyes widened in anger. ”Damn it! So you were just pretending to fool around with those three beauties every day before the duel? All to get me to lower my guard so you could come prepared and defeat me with a surprise attack?”

Zhao Rong nodded. ”Old man, you should learn from your mistakes. I hope this loss teaches you to look past the surface and see the truth. Don’t be fooled by what you see with your own eyes. I’m telling you, what your eyes see is false. Only what you judge with your own heart is real.”

Hearing this, Mage Erzhen charged toward Zhao Rong, yelling, ”I’m going to kill you!”

Facing the charge, Zhao Rong proceeded according to his plan. He calmly assumed a horse stance and pushed forward with both palms. Drawing power from the storm in his Dantian, he channeled his True Qi and declared, ”Pushing the Tree Till it Snaps!”

Zhao Rong’s palm strike snapped a small poplar tree standing behind Mage Erzhen. The broken tree fell directly toward the sprinting mage, who had his back to it and was completely unaware that the tree Zhao Rong had broken was now crashing down on him.

As Mage Erzhen closed in on Zhao Rong, he suddenly pulled a hidden dagger from his hair and stabbed at Zhao Rong’s chest.

You fool, Zhao Rong! All you know is that bullshit ’Pushing the Tree Till it Snaps’ move. Watch me gut you with this dagger!

However, before Mage Erzhen could finish his thought, the falling poplar tree struck him on the back of the head, knocking him to the ground. Mage Erzhen crashed heavily, knocking out two teeth. As he struggled up, he spat out the two teeth and said, ”Damn it, I only had these two teeth left, and now they’re gone too. How am I supposed to eat now?”

When the crowd saw the naked Mage Erzhen being beaten so embarrassingly by Zhao Rong, they all gasped in shock. A disciple, known for eating grapes without spitting out the skins, said, ”I never thought I’d see this day! Well done, Zhao Rong, you’ve avenged me.” This disciple had been brutally beaten by Mage Erzhen shortly after joining the True Martial Sect for stealing some of the mage’s grapes. He had harbored a grudge ever since and was now thoroughly enjoying the sight of Mage Erzhen getting thrashed. Another disciple, who never bothered to spit out watermelon seeds, chimed in, ”A great hit! A brilliant hit! That’ll make Mage Erzhen squeal!” As he spoke, he picked up a brick and hurled it at Mage Erzhen on the stage. This disciple had once stolen a Japanese Asahikawa black-skinned watermelon that Wang Jingang had offered to Mage Erzhen as a gift. For his crime, Mage Erzhen had delivered a Descendant Ending Kick that nearly turned him into a eunuch. He had hated the mage ever since. Watching Zhao Rong beat up Mage Erzhen, he wished he could go to the mage’s room right then and there to devour all the watermelons hidden under the bed.

Before Mage Erzhen could finish speaking, Zhao Rong flew at him with a kick, cursing, ”Screw you! Get lost!”

Zhao Rong’s side kick sent Mage Erzhen flying five meters.

Knocked to the ground again, Mage Erzhen spat out a mouthful of blood as he struggled back to his feet. ”Zhao Rong, you son of a bitch! You must be on something! How else could your combat power be so high today? How can you, a level-twenty cultivator, be beating me, a level-twenty-seven cultivator?”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong burst into laughter. ”You fool, I forgot to tell you. Before the duel, I had someone go to the city’s Alchemy Room to buy me an Excitement Pill. So what?”

Hearing that Zhao Rong had taken an Excitement Pill to fight him, Mage Erzhen flew into a rage. ”Damn it! Everyone calls me, Mage Erzhen, old and cunning, a cheater! But this kid in front of me is even more cunning and a bigger cheater than I am!” Mage Erzhen gritted his teeth. ”It seems I have no choice but to use my trump card.”

With that, he threw a punch at Zhao Rong—the mid-tier mysterious rank Martial Technique, Thunderclap Fist. Seeing Mage Erzhen’s Thunderclap Fist, Zhao Rong took a step back and shouted, ”High-tier mysterious rank Martial Technique, Over-the-Mountain Bull Strike!”
