Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing, dressed in a wrinkled suit, had just arrived upstairs when several waiters set their gaze on him.

”Sir, may I help you?” a waiter came over to stop Ye Qing. Although he spoke politely, he was actually on guard, closely watching Ye Qing.

After all, Ye Qing’s attire didn’t look like that of someone who could afford to spend on the fifth floor.

”Where is the Number Six Prestige Room?” Ye Qing asked.

Waiter: ”I’m sorry, but the Number Six Prestige Room is already occupied. Are you here to see someone or to spend?”

Ye Qing: ”To see someone!”

Waiter: ”May I ask whom you are looking for? I can pass along the message.”

Ye Qing frowned and glanced at the waiter, saying, ”Can’t I go there directly?”

Waiter: ”I’m sorry, but to avoid disturbing our guests. Unless notified by a guest, outsiders are not allowed to enter the private rooms randomly.”

Ignoring him, Ye Qing walked directly ahead, searching for the Number Six room on his own.

Seeing Ye Qing behaving this way, the waiter became even more certain that he was there to cause trouble and immediately followed him, saying, ”Sir, I’m sorry. If you are not here to spend, please leave.”

Ye Qing ignored him, and the waiter, now angry, reached out to grab Ye Qing’s clothes.

Although Ye Qing was not yet fully recovered, it didn’t mean he lacked fighting skills. His strength might be that of an ordinary person, but his fighting skills were still intact.

Seeing the waiter reaching out, Ye Qing grasped his wrist and twisted it behind his back. At the same time, his left thumb pressed hard against the waiter’s back, and he spoke in a deep voice, ”Take me there, or I will kill you first!”

The waiter felt something hard pressing against his back and, in that moment, had no mind to ponder what it might be, fearing it to be some kind of weapon as he panicked.

”Sir, you... please calm down, I... I’ll take you there right now...”

The waiter, timid by nature, led Ye Qing with shaking steps to the outside of the Number Six room.

With the room completely obscured from the outside, Ye Qing, holding the waiter, walked up to the door and spoke in a low voice, ”Kick the door!”

”Ah?” Stunned, the waiter hesitated briefly until Ye Qing applied a bit more pressure with his left hand; the waiter then kicked the door open immediately.

Loud, grating music filled the room, where a dozen young men and women were sitting around a table, drinking and flirting. Most of the men were young and hot-headed. Upon seeing the room door suddenly burst open, these youths quickly stood up.

”What the hell!” yelled one young man loudly, his expression extremely dissatisfied, looking typically arrogant and overbearing.

”It’s... he made me do it...” the waiter said with a downcast face.

The crowd turned their attention to Ye Qing, and his gaze swept through the room, finally resting on the restroom. The restroom door was closed, but one could make out shadows moving inside – there was definitely someone there!

Ye Qing let go of the waiter and strode towards the restroom.

”Stop him! Stop him!”

A young man cried out urgently, and someone immediately rushed over to grab Ye Qing.

Ye Qing dodged that person and rushed straight to the restroom, pushing the door open.

The restroom was a mess, with Huo Pingping’s hands tied up, hanging from a water pipe. Since she was hung quite high, her toes barely touched the ground, making it a very painful position.

Huo Pingping’s clothes were torn off extensively, revealing numerous bruises. In just a few minutes, she had already been severely beaten. Her hair was disheveled, and her face was bloodied. Her mouth was gagged with cloth, and upon seeing Ye Qing enter, she could only make muffled noises, unable to utter a sound. Her eyes were filled with fear and anger, a truly pitiable sight.

Ye Qing knew that Huo Pingping would be at a disadvantage, but he had never expected to find such a scene awaiting him.

Two young men in their twenties stood nearby, one of them holding pliers. Huo Pingping’s body was covered in bruise after bruise, likely inflicted with those pliers. This person was truly fucking cruel!

As the door burst open, the two young men were startled. Seeing Ye Qing, the one with the pliers furrowed his brow and spoke sharply, ”What the fuck is this about?”

Several other young men had already gathered around. Seeing all this, the waiter immediately turned to leave. However, a few young men stopped him, locking him inside the room as well.

One spoke harshly, ”This guy just barged in. Looks like he’s definitely that bitch’s friend!”

”Didn’t that bitch just make a call? Was it to him?” another analyzed.

”Fuck it, it doesn’t matter. Now that he’s here, let’s take him down too!” said the one with the pliers, angrily gesturing, ”Tie this guy up too!”

Immediately, two men went to grab Ye Qing. Ye Qing, extremely annoyed, threw two punches back at them. Due to his injuries, his strength wasn’t fully restored and his movements were slower. However, these two still couldn’t dodge his punches and were hit in the face, seeing stars.

Ye Qing had put all his strength into that punch. In the past, it would have been enough to kill the two of them. But now, the punch only caused them brief pain and didn’t injure them at all.

”Damn, you dare to hit people!” one of them cursed and kicked toward Ye Qing.

Ye Qing hurried into the restroom to dodge the kick. However, the person holding the pliers inside the restroom swung them down hard.

Ye Qing couldn’t dodge in time and could only grab the person’s wrist. Thankfully, he had regained some of his strength and was able to grasp the person’s wrist. But several others followed suit and rushed in, pinning Ye Qing to the ground.

”Fuck you, you dare to hit me, I’m going to kill you!” a young man cursed as he came up and started viciously kicking Ye Qing.

Ye Qing had no strength and couldn’t resist. After several kicks, he was in an extremely miserable condition.

”That’s enough, stop kicking!” the one with the pliers waved his hand and said, ”Tie them up, tie them all up. We’re going to have some fun with them. Damn it, to think they dared to mess with Young Master Wei! I’ll make these two a pair of short-lived lovers today!”

”Young Master Wei, Captain Chen called and said someone has reported to the police, asking what’s happening here,” a voice suddenly came from outside.

Young Master Wei, impatient, waved his hand and said, ”Tell him I’m having fun here, don’t come over and spoil my mood!”

At the same time, a taxi slowly arrived at the entrance of the Garden District. Inside the taxi sat a burly man, nearly six feet three inches tall, whose appearance alone was enough to command respect. Beside him was a squatting black wolfhound, which looked majestic with its striking fur that was loved by many.

”Here we are, ten yuan.” The driver glanced at the burly man through the rearview mirror, his heart filled with fear. If it were someone else, he would have demanded an exorbitant sum. But with this burly man, he didn’t dare to overcharge, fearing he might blow his head off with a single punch.

The burly man pulled out ten yuan and handed it to the driver, then led the wolfhound out of the taxi and directly into the nearby villa.

Watching the burly man’s receding figure, the driver couldn’t help saying, ”Damn, I’ve lived half my life, but this is the first time I’ve seen someone take a dog on a train. But that dog is really something special, huh? To bring it along on a long journey?”

This burly man was none other than Black Bear, who had just come from his hometown. And the dog was Da Hei, personally trained by Ye Qing.

When Black Bear left his unit, he took Da Hei with him, never intending to abandon it. Leveraging his large stature, he covered for Da Hei on the train and brought it to Shenchuan City. For them, Da Hei was not just a dog, but a teammate!

With the address given by Ye Qing, Black Bear quickly found the house where Ye Qing was staying. He knocked on the door, and immediately there was a flurry of noise inside, as if someone was running to open the door.

The door was opened by Old Wang Ba, who, seeing the burly man and the robust dog at the doorway, was momentarily stunned.

”You… who are you looking for?” Qingrong peeked out from the side, also quite surprised by the man-and-dog duo.

Black Bear timidly said, ”Excuse me, does Ye Qing live here?”

”Yes, he does. And you are…?” Qingrong sized up Black Bear; the man was indeed an eye-catching presence.

”Ye Qing is my captain!” Black Bear walked straight into the room and said, ”Where is he now?”

”He…” Old Wang Ba was about to speak, but Chen Keai, visibly annoyed, put down the phone and said, ”What the hell is going on with Zhao Chengshuang? Why can’t we get through to him?”

”Ye, he’s not going to be in any trouble, is he?” Tingyun said tearfully.

”Pingping, too, we don’t know what’s happening to them now!” Mo Xiang said worriedly.

Qingrong spoke in a low voice, ”The local police said they called The Tycoon, but The Tycoon said there was no trouble there, so they aren’t sending officers!”

Tears welled up in Tingyun’s eyes, and she said, ”What should we do? Ye and Pingping are there, could they be in danger?”

”I refuse to believe they can do anything outrageous. This is a law-abiding society!” Chen Keai said indignantly.

”Pfft!” Old Wang Ba spat and said, ”The kid’s almost dead, and the culprit is still at large. Do you think there’s law and order? Just look at the police. We reported to them, and they didn’t bother to show up, obviously in cahoots with him. This guy’s got such a powerful background, last time he almost killed a kid in the street. Do you think he’d go soft this time?”

Chen Keai was rendered speechless, feeling irritable; he kicked the sofa and asked, ”So what do we do now?”

The women looked at each other, all at a loss.

Old Wang Ba looked at Black Bear and suddenly asked, ”Big guy, can you fight?”

Black Bear ignored him, just scanning the rooms, and said, ”Which room does the captain stay in?”

”Never mind that for now, can you fight?” Old Wang Ba paused, then added, ”Your captain’s been hurt. He’s been captured, and his life is in danger!”

With a smack, Black Bear dropped his luggage on the floor. He clenched his fists, the knuckles crackling loudly, and his smile grew broader, albeit with a somewhat chilling laugh.

”Heh heh heh…”
